Service here has declined over the years, with my recent service being the final straw. Do yourself a favor and pay more at Transwest or other shop for your diesel work. I lost lots of work because of their failure to follow through; I consistently had to call them for updates, only to find that the truck had been just sitting there. Parts were quoted at a certain price but ended up higher, with explanation. I was told a leak was fixed but 5 minutes down the road, it was pouring when I went to the gas station. I returned and they said, "don't worry about it." It took them nearly 2 weeks to do less than 2 days of work. Even then they never finished the job. I was told they would call me when my vacuum pump return hose arrived, and months later, they still haven't called. At least they are friendly!

Own a Sign Company and came to look at a few Altecs they have on their lot for work trucks. Was hoping to leave with a couple today that they have. First their customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. Paul lied the entire time after I questioned their trucks they repaint and bandage up to get off their lots. Nor did they ever ask me if I need help or even a thanks for coming. Their definitely do not care if they sell these pos trucks. Let me save you a half a day, "DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!"

The team at MTE is great. I work with a family owned and operated company and I try to do business with the same. MTE is a for the people, by the people company. They understand that we have budgets too and don’t try to take every last dollar you have. I switched to them recently from Napa and couldn’t be happier. The knowledge and service I get from MTE is compared to none. They will be my first call for parts moving forward.

I've bought parts here for years since I'm a mechanic myself, but I have a Dodge Ram diesel truck that needed repair I wasn't able to do because I had a back injury. I called them multiple times and got a different "service manager" each time but I clearly explained that the intake manifold had been partly removed, that there was undoubtedly dirt and dust in the cylinders and needed the cylinder head removed. I told them the intake manifold had been open for several years. They said 'Sure, bring it in'. I did, at a towing cost of $195. Once there they said they didn't do that kind of work and that the engine was probably junk, etc. Well, I've remanufactured engines for nearly 40 years and I know that's not the case. (and I've contacted a certified Dodge diesel mechanic who will now be working on the job and he agreed the engine will not likely be "junk". I asked them to refund my tow charges. The owner refused. They lied about my having told them all the things that I explicitly told them multiple times before having it towed. WARNING from a mechanic: ANY shop that lies to you is never trustworthy. Stay away. I'm taking them to small claims for the tow charges just because I hate liars. Also remember: this is my opinion, but my opinion is based on fact and years of engine building experience.

This isn’t your typical car parts/mechanic shop. Everyone I have worked with here is incredibly knowledgeable and consummate professionals. I’ve had their mechanics work on multiple vehicles for me… their work is top-notch at fair pricing. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else for your truck or automotive needs.
