Let me just say that this institution is unwilling to negotiate on its fees in any way. When I was left holding the entire bill for a procedure due to office incompetence and poor physician documentation I called to see if we could negotiate the charges. Was told flat out no they don't do that. I could set up a payment plan. I was willing to pay the negotiated insurance fees, which is what they would have been paid had things been documented correctly. Told NO. When I pointed out that my care included a HIPPA violation, that was met with silence. Last time I was in the facility it was like a ghost town. Won't be surprised to see the place close in the near future.

Our experience at the birthing center exceeded expectations in every way. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and welcoming. We were there for four nights, which did not feel like a big deal because our room was fully equipped and comfortable. Each room is set up so that you can stay in one location from admission until discharge. It was great having a birthing tub in-suite. The care was professional and attentive. They handled my complex medical acuity with full capability, ease and grace. I had a great epidural placed by Spencer. I was able to feel my body and could stand and reposition ad lib, but did not feel any pain whatsoever. We have no idea why anyone would go anywhere else to deliver their baby!

I had an amazing experience at the Birth Center at Centura. My original plan of a homebirth fell through when my water had been broken too long with no onset of labor. Everyone couldn't have been more kind, and even apologetic that I didn't get my homebirth - I was happy to be where I needed to be, but the empathy they showed was very reassuring, especially when there can be a lot of opinions about homebirth. The midwife team was great - very open to my birth preferences, and when plans changed they spent the time to fully walk me through what we were doing, I never felt pressured, and felt like I had full autonomy which was very important to me. All three were great (and I would have been more than happy to have any for my delivery) but a special shout out to Kelly for my delivery - it was so so long but she was always so encouraging even when I was feeling like I was at the end of my rope. The anesthesiologist (her name is completely spacing right now sorry!!) was fantastic. Really listened to me, and slowed down when I asked because I was having trouble focusing. Also - perfect epidural for me considering it wasn't part of my original plan. Could still move my legs and had some feeling (though I could just press the button to feel more numb if I needed to). When I needed some extra help, we brought in Dr Kim - again, so empathetic and kind. Walked me through my options, and again I felt like I truly had the choice in what we did next. He even popped in the next day to check in and say hi - which was nice because I was pretty out of it after birth, I felt like I didn't truly get to thank anyone. The baby care team were great. They were gentle, always happy to work with me on preferences (like delayed measurements, and giving baby the vitK shot while doing skin to skin), and were happy to give advice and tips whenever we needed it! Now I feel like I'm getting to the true stars of the show - my nurses. When my husband and I (and my homebirth midwife who essentially became my doula at the hospital) talk about the hospital, one of the first things we say is that the nurses were AMAZING. I literally do not have a single complaint. They were so onto it, everyone seemed like they were almost excited to be there (some literally said they were). I felt so cared for, never felt like I was asking too much when I requested something, and they honestly just felt like a bunch of close friends. I honestly can't thank them enough. I hope I'm not missing anyone that was part of my care team (again, so out of it most the time) but I want to shout out, in no specific order: Taylor, Sarah, Carol, Tricia, Tiff, and Michelle. If we have a second, and we choose (or need) to do another hospital birth, I wouldn't hesitate to come here again. A part of me would want to go deliver there just to see everyone again haha! I genuinely think that if I went to any other hospital, I would have been pushed for a C-section very early on. But baby was as cool as a cucumber and neither of us were showing any distress, so there was no indication that a C-section was necessary unless any of that changed (which it didn't). Thank you to everyone that was involved in mine and Isabelle's care. You guys have put together an incredible team here, and made what could have been a traumatic experience into a really positive and dare I say fun memory for my husband and me! P.S. that take home lasagna was BOMB.

Called on Sunday. "Does Longmont Untied have an urgent care or is there one in Longmont?".. Operator.."You'll have to go on Google to search for one." So much for their healthcare help. Don't call them as their lame responses ask you to. Judging by all the negative reviews it's obvious they'll never change.

When we had to take our 80+ year-old grandma in for care here, the staff was attentive even though she wasn't bleeding profusely or coding. They did everything they could to make her comfortable while seeking timely solutions for her ailments. As we were hundreds of miles from home, their kindness meant more to us than they'll ever know. Our thanks to the entire staff.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the nurses at Longmont United went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, cared for, and felt safe during my birth experience. My baby boy was delivered by the amazing Haley from CU Midwifery and 90% of the support staff were absolute angels and there for me during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. Sharon especially was INCREDIBLE - so kind, caring, and comforting. She honestly made my experience 1000 times better. The only reason I'm rating them 4/5 instead of 5 is my unfortunate experience with a nurse after my son was born. When I was absolutely exhausted after 23 hours of labor and asked if they could take him to the nursery for a few hours so I could sleep, she told me as rudely as possible that they "aren't babysitters". My son was born at midnight and when my support people went home to sleep no one told us that they don't take babies to the nursery anymore. Would've loved to had a heads up on that. Thank God everyone else was so amazing because that almost completely ruined my experience. Thank you to all the nurses that showed kindness and compassion. It goes such a long way.

i was born in this hospital and up until about 2 years ago I would say it's an amazing place to be seen. Now being in the ER three times in the last few months for my husband once, me once, and my daughter once, this is by far the worst nursing staff I have ever seen. very unprofessional and have no bedside manor. took 6 hours to get a scat scan and a Covid test done with my blood work and very clear it is not a busy day due to them laughing outside my room talking together. the previous time we were here I felt as though th nurses were laughing at my frustration outside my room. there is no friendliness here, doesn't care to listen and had no sympathy with any of my family's situation. the doctors are great but with the nursing staff we will never come here again

I've never paid $250 for a copay at the emergency room in my life. Absolutely ridiculous.

Horrible abusive experience at Longmont United Hospital. ICU was a nightmare. Harsh, uncaring, and harmful to a stroke patient. So bad we had to leave and go to another hospital, which they yelled at us about and wouldn't even let us use a wheelchair for the patient. Some of the nurses were wonderful, but much of the staff had zero empathy or compassion. Then they charged for doctors who were never there, and for an hour when a doctor was there for only a few minutes. The room was never cleaned, and blood was on the floor. I would never recommend that anyone go to Longmont United Hospital. I would call how they treated her elder abuse.

Same old same old "would leave zero stars if I could" post. I hurt my arm at night. Punctured a hole in it. A large hole too. I went to urgent care and they looked at it. I told them I was slowly losing feeling in my fingers. They felt like I needed to go to the ER instead and felt horrible they could not help me. I got there at roughly 1230 pm. The nurse took my vitals and what not and said the doctor would be in to look at my arm. 1 hour later she came in. I know this because my blood pressure cuff was set to 30 minutes and it went off two times. She looked at my wound for no more than 10 seconds and said it's just missing skin, there is no puncture. She said they'd clean it out and bandage it. I said is it normal that my fingers are getting numb? And she replied, "trauma will cause that" then left before asking if I'd like some ibuprofen (which I NEVER received). Waiting for the bill so I can dispute that. Another hour later the nurse came back. Said she was going to numb it before cleaning and I'd need to wait 20 minutes. 40 minutes later she came in and it hadn't numbed much at all. I said I didn't care I wasn't going to wait again. She cleaned it out then said she's be back with my paperwork so I could leave. A half hour later she still wasn't back so I picked up my belongings and stood outside of my door. I was about ready to just leave and she finally got the paperwork to me. I have a friend who is an RN and she looked at my wound when I got home and could clearly see a puncture and said the bruising on my arm indicated I probably did hit the nerve, I know that can heal, but it can also get worse, I have a ton of nerve damage in my other arm from a car accident. The doctor seemed like I was an inconvenience and did not take me seriously. I've always liked this ER but will never return. After 3 hours, no pain medication (all I wanted was ibuprofen) and being interacted with for no more than 10 minutes total I have no idea what is really wrong with my arm and I'm sure my bill will reflect good care, when this was abysmal care at best

If I could give negative stars I would!! The way they treated a stroke (brain stem bleed) patient in ICU was unimaginable!! The worst experience ever... cruel, thoughtless and insensitive! I would never recommend this hospital under ANY circumstances!

I delivered my son at the BirthPlace Longmont United Hospital. My experience was great, from start to finish, which is not easy to say about a hospital stay when you're giving birth! The nurses and staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcome, which was very important since we only found out we were delivering at Longmont days before we did so when our hospital was closed due to the Marshall Fire. Besides having a great experience, they sent us new parents home with a frozen lasagna and garlic bread to feed a large family! Upon getting home, I received a text message from Kim, the RN/CLC asking how she could help me and offering countless resources. She continued to text me, answering my questions about the new baby for weeks. I really think this was above and beyond. I also received a thank you card in the mail from my nurses who left personal messages in relation to my family and my stay. Thank you Michelle, Luann, Sarah, Christa, and Kim. You are all wonderful! I would highly recommend this hospital for anyone wanting a great birth experience--before, during, and after!

Nice pet therapy program. Smaller facility but excellent services. Security is tight, and everywhere. Food is ok.

9/4/2000 I was in an MVA “Passenger” once they revived me I was in a coma, hemorrhaging on the left side which never was stopped, L-1 & L-2 where out of place- never had surgery because, Riviera Electric had paid LUH not to diagnose because, I had an HMO through them. This hospital was so money hungry they went through my wallet & found that card. After they found out there was 5 other liable insurances they tried to stall me for them 4yrs to expire. Colorado is full of cess pool PD’s, & they used Longmont’s FD’s to help them stalk my every move. I still got my complaint filed for $365Million before statutes expired. I went to the ER Aug ‘2013’ when they told me I had GERT there was no nurse there? I had to wait for my nurse (assassin). They lied about what she gave me & it’s been drying my liver, lungs, skin, mouth, throat, blood & gums up. They will not tell me what they gave me to date. They used my family friends, PD, LFD & rumors to discredit me. Then it turned to jealousy now that they got everyone on board trying to disfigure me. They asked Boulder County Community Health to drain my blood & when I stopped them they decided to inject me with 18cc of an unknown substance to date. Then Dr. Wang had them give me an MRI that pushed the 1st injection into my kidneys. That night my liver started having spasms for 4hrs. & 4 nights. It’s acidic because it’s eating my gums & teeth up. My Liver causes me chronic fatigue, joint problems, blood not nourishing the soft tissue, to name a few because, when your liver goes bad it starts attacking everything, the final stages are the heart & brain. The Kidneys store energy, when there bad the energy you wake up with is all you got, they also are your motivation, willpower, they don’t like to pay there bills & they’ll murder you! I’m obviously disabled times 2 with all these poisonings but, they got the state discriminating on a disabled person so they can keep me imprisoned to this state! I’ve repeated aforementioned statements to S.S.I. doctor to tell me, “Has it been diagnosed”. I should have told him that’s your job! S.S.I. in there rules state, “the judge will not use objectionable doctor’s statements. They use “Laboratory” results. I used this rule to get my spine diagnosed but it never happened. On October 27th my mom went to Longmont united hospital & died October 30th because, boulder county doctors cut her off her pain medication due to “dementia” she would forget she took a dose & take it again they knew it from the early refill requests & none of them wanted to be liable even though they where scheduling her another surgery because the plates in her back had moved. She went there in pain & withdrawing! Any educated doctor knows you prescribe a patient with dementia or Alzheimer’s a placebo medication until they get a primary doctor to monitor them & you do not prescribe a person over 65 or in bad health, any medication with so many side effects because, they will suffer from more or ALL of them. My mom had a peptic ulcer & colitis of which is a contraindication of Naproxen & every hospital in the country has her notes from every doctor simply by putting her social security number in the computer. They knew everything I’m talking about. Please look up Colorado corruption & you’ll know why they murdered her! They didn’t like what I was saying about them but, they keep giving me more to say about them. This is not an opinion with all the facts. I just want to show the public the evil these doctors have, they had NextCare prescribe me Clarithromycin which has a side effect of liver failure & LUH are the one’s that originally caused me cirrhosis! I stopped taking the medication they prescribed me & before it did it’s complete damage Naproxen Side Effects Back pain This med is known to cause what my mom needed it for motive!!!
