Longmont Meals On Wheels provided 5 daily meals at no charge when my husband was released from rehab. He was at UCHEALTH Longmont for 4 weeks, then was transferred to UCHEALTH Broomfield for 2 weeks, then was transferred to Aviva rehab in Aurora for 2 weeks. Upon returning home, those 5 free meals gave me a little bit of a break after the back and forth driving, and sitting in the hospital for hours, and more than once a day while he was in Longmont. He liked those meals so much he decided he wanted to continue delivery! It also gives him a variety of meals, something different, like he was getting used to at Aviva rehab in Aurora.Thank you Longmont Meals On Wheels!!!

Thanks to the dedicated people who work as a team to keep this program working. Recently, I received a personal birthday card and then a "care package" containing food items--I didn't have any of them on my shelf; I was very happy to receive them. Meals are nutritious and have helped me maintain my weight and a good schedule. Thank you all so much!

This organization provides meals every day, to people who cannot get out to shop. The volunteers do more than deliver food. They bring sunshine every time they visit.
