Everything was fine until drop off. The associate came out and asked for the key to the rental but stated we could continue to clear out the vehicle. I also mentioned to her I had tried to call two days in a row in which she stated she’s aware the phone system isn’t working properly and she needs to get it fixed. We gave her the key and continued getting our stuff out, as we were doing this she (the associate) left, and on her way to her car she said she would be sending us the final receipt. Once we finished getting our stuff out the car, we realized the back left window was down, and since we no longer had the keys we couldn’t get the window rolled up or lock the vehicle. I tried calling the direct office line (didn’t work) & the emergency service line to see if someone could do that, since the associate left, however they said they were unable to do so. So I took a ton of pictures, and we left as we had a flight to catch. Days later I noticed we still had yet to receive our final receipt, and I was getting charged over $70 a day from hertz. Once again, I tried calling….didn't work. In their recorded line (which is infuriating) it says to put in a request online and a ln associate will call you, so I did that. Today, I got a voicemail from hertz saying that my rental was overdue, which now makes sense why I was getting charge the $70+ daily amount. I once again tried making calls to the Longmont office and the national number, and it took forever to finally get ahold of someone live (through the national number). They confirmed my rental was overdue and that they would send a message asking for it to be closed out. I also provided them with the information I wrote above, and referenced my request form information I submitted earlier in the week. We will see how this all pans out, however I will never use the hertz Longmont location again and I’m questioning if I’ll ever use hertz period. I’ve never had a car rental issue before, however the inability to get ahold of a live person easily and the fact my car was returned last Saturday and is sitting in their very small lot (6-10 cars max), and they are still marking my rental as overdue is absolutely insane to me. This location may save you money vs getting a rental car at DIA, but customers beware!

Car is great and customer service was great as well but I expressed to the woman working out front that a loose pill was in the car so she Took the car back and looked it over I’ve been driving the car for a bit now and found a bag of medicine in the car! Like pills and liquid I think it’s just probiotics and things like that but “looking it over” and not doing so

I have had 3 different rentals with problems in the 2 weeks my own car has been out of commission. One left a 6 inch oil stain in my driveway after sitting there for 45 minutes, another had a slow leak in one of the tires and the third one wouldn't start the morning after I got it home. I wound up having to get an Uber to work and was late because of it. Needless to say I am a very unhappy customer.

They are always super helpful. I've had to extend my rental several times several times due to the body shop taking way longer than they promised, and the employees at Hertz always make it easy.
