My wife and I suffered the great misfortune of dealing with Kevin at Carpet One who we were referred to by our contractor for a remodeling project. We provided Kevin with samples and were told that he would have similar products available from Carpet One suppliers in 3 days. At the one-week mark we had left several messages for Kevin, which went unreturned. At the two-week mark, I finally connected with Kevin who blamed the flooring representative for not providing samples and who had no explanation for his lack of communication. At the three-week mark, I drove over to Carpet One to see if I could retrieve my samples so that I could move on with another flooring company and I was able to express my dismay to a manager (John). John promised to investigate and was polite and cordial, however, Kevin lied about his interactions with me and my wife, claiming to have provided important information about our flooring choices when he, in fact, never communicated with us, and it appears that management is happy to accept Kevin’s misrepresentations at face value. I cannot recommend Carpet One based on this experience – but I did find great service and a very good deal at a nearby Home Depot.

The team at Carpet One was very organized and gave me all the details to make sure the install went smooth. Even though the price was a little higher than other carpet proposals it was worth it because of the quality and attention to detail.

The older salesman with the gray hair is a bit of a know it all and condescending. I've been in there a few times and his attitude has totally turned me off and made me not want to spend money there. There are plenty of better places to spend your money.

Our experience with family carpet one has been less than stellar. Our sales associate was wonderful. She was kind and helped us pick a good carpet for our situation. She told us if we picked an in stock carpet they could install it in 2-3 weeks. She even went out of her way to get us a larger sample to take home and see how it looked. We decided to go with them and on an in stock carpet. She "put our order in" and the install scheduler was supposed to call us. I waited an entire week. I know things in the construction business are busy right now. After a week I called again. She transferred me to the scheduler. He couldn't get us on the schedule for 6 weeks. Despite our being told 2-3 weeks. He was not kind or understanding when I expressed my frustration. I get that they are busy but he could have been nicer about it rather be rude and put off. Kindness goes a long way. We waited and the installers were fast and efficient. The carpet is soft and comfortable and we are very happy with it. The tile in the Bathroom was not installed prior to the carpet install due to an unforeseen circumstances. The installers told us to call when it was done and someone could come tuck it to the tile. Once our tile was installed we called to have the carpet tucked. It took 3 weeks and numerous calls to finally get someone to come out. It was a doorway. It wasn't a big job. It also doesn't look great. The tile is higher than the carpet and his only solution was to have us investigate some sort of transition. There was no offer to put in a carpet shim or anything. He didn't even say anything about the unevenness. I had to ask about it and discovered the possibility of a carpet shim from the internet. He was here all of 5 minutes and charged us $95 for a crappy fix. Now we are going to have to find someone else abs pay more money to have it done correctly. On top of that our carpet is supposed to have some sort of warranty but we have no info/ paper work regarding that and there is no cleaning or care information to maintain the warranty. While we love the carpet, the customer service and other issues are not worth it. I suggest buying your carpet elsewhere

I received such excellent service at Family Carpet One!I've had carpet installed in several residences and business spaces and Carpet One is the best I've worked with!John the owner was so helpful to come to my house in the mountains to assess my carpet situation for a difficult configuration. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Ken the installer is certainly a top pro in his field and fitted the difficult carpet configuration perfectly! I highly recommend!

We just carpet installed in 3 rooms plus our hallway. Family Carpet One did a fantastic job from start to finish! I emailed 3 different carpet companies from here in Longmont for an estimate. Family Carpet One was the only one to get back to us. The office staff was very helpful in getting us an estimate appointment. Jason came out and gave us our estimate. He explained everything very thoroughly and answered all our questions. Today Luis and Harrison came out to install the carpet. They were on time, very professional and worked really hard. They took less than 5 hours to complete the whole job! They moved furniture, cleaned up and made the whole experience awesome. We can't say enough about how grateful we are to have found a local company with such great customer service! We will recommend them to everyone we know.

While our initial carpet selection did not live up to the manufacturer's warranty on pattern wear, John Sr. submitted a warranty claim and supported that claim for replacement including installation costs. After manufacturer agreed to carpet replacement, John greatly assisted us with his knowledge of product more suited for our application and style preferences. Thanks, John.... we love our new carpet!

Spoke with John a few days ago. was attempting to find someone to remove carpet. John shared that if I would like to do it it's not that difficult. he shared what I would need and how to do it and tips for making it easier. pulled the carpet myself using what John shared and it all went really smooth and easy and found that things he mentioned along the way were very helpful tips. I'm really amazed at the compassion kindness of John and his group. that is larger the reason I'm going back to carpet one and having them install new wood flooring. after getting quoted on that the price was quite reasonable and it's a beautiful wood design. Thank you family carpet one and thank you John!
