Just went for a shower but it's a great place to work out. Rarely busy.

A lifelong everyday fitness nut, i joined the Longmont Y about six months ago for its convenience following a move across town. I use the free weights, machines, cardio, spin bike, locker / shower. Love going there. It feels like a strong community and i enjoy knowing other regulars. the Staff is friendly and helpful. Wish they were open a little later on weekends, hot water was a bit more consistent and they updated / added some equipment but overall highly recommend. Thanks to the Staff for their dedication.

The water exercise is the best with Khris as instructor. She keeps us moving and working every part of our body!

My wife and I have been going to this "Y" for a few years now and have found it to be a great place to workout and visit with friends old and new. If I had to mention one failing it would be the stationary exercise equipment does not have a planned service schedule causing some equipment not to function as it should. Thus 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I have been going to the YMCA for the past six months. I went in today and found out that they were increasing the guest feet 300%. Absolutely outrageous. So, I guess the majority of guests that are able to use the Y will be silver sneakers customers. Very very sad for the community in which it serves. Many of our locals cannot afford that kind of an increase. Shame on you YMCA.

This place is a f****** joke! I wouldn't come swim here again if my life depended on it. The pool is never open, and the "executive director" seems to have no idea what she's doing when it comes to managing a nonprofit. The entire pool staff is gone, so I can never get laps in. There are plenty of other places to go in Longmont if you're looking to get a good workout in. If I could rate this place negatively, I would. Shameful, YMCA.

If i could give them 0 stars i would,Worst neighbors ever, constant noise after hours and before opening, employees blasting music in cars before opening, I have tried to ask them to follow longmont noise ordinances, however, each time they act like they don't know what anyone is talking about, or say nothing can be done!Don't support this dishonest "nonprofit".

What are you goals? Mine is to find a swimming pool close to home where I can go after work.My other option was to go to the Centennial Swimming Pool (Longmont rec center) 2 blocks away. I picked the YMCA because it stays open later (07:45 pm vs 03:00 pm). They are both clean and pretty calm. The last option is the main Rec Center building by Ken Pratt in the south side of the City. This facility is further away, the pool is smaller and it is pretty loud because of the kids having fun (however, you get a hamam which is pretty nice). The Rec center is cheaper than the YMCA (couple: $74 vs $91, $204 after one year). On top of that, you have everything on site: dance, Yoga, Fitness, gym, and even a boxing studio. There is also a garden and they sell produce once a week for a very affordable price. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. However regarding specific questions I would recommend you to ask different staff members, some of them are new and might not know everything.CONCLUSIONIf you like swimming then this is a bargain since you have access to a pool almost empty most of the time.

If the staff here has an issue. They will make your life so hard you have to move your children. The staff are some of the unprofessional staff I have ever seen. Cancelling my children be cause they all of a sudden don’t have approval from Ccap. I called Ccap and it was all lies. I watched these people target my children because I filed a grievance.

My partner and I stayed in Longmont for a week while working a nearby festival. The staff at the Ed & Ruth Lehman YMCA was FABULOUS. My partner is a member, but I am not. They made the process easy for me to pay as a guest and check in so we could quickly get started on our workouts. They remembered us and greeted us kindly every day of our trip.I loved using the cardio and weight rooms. My partner used the pool every day and was able to get a lane and start laps very quickly. We'll be back the next time we're in Longmont!

If I could put zero stars I would. Horrible place to send your children for summer camp. Supervisors are clearly not doing their job of making sure staff are carrying out appropriate protocol for different situations. Although the incident happened a week or so ago I felt the need to reach out to a higher up person above the staff there, I believe it was Asher Fast and I received zero answers and it felt like he had no idea what summer camp even was, not sure how he is the “boss”. It was nothing major to go up any higher, but it was still extremely unprofessional.

Horrible place. They have a nice swimming pool, which is why I chose to join the Y. But, It is only available for lap swimming from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. That's only 45 minutes. How does that make any sense to the folks running the Y? Joining this Y was a waste of money.

Joined this Y and the place was horrible- cutting locks off lockers x2, my stuff was stolen while in the custody and care of the staff inside the office.Management couldn’t be bothered to return multiple calls. Never going back.

Since my last review was removed for being too honest, I'll repost. Both of my kids went to this facility for the past 2 years. We have never had any issues until this year, less communication and new "teachers". When my son came home with a bruise on his arm, I expressed my concern to the teachers. They said that they would look into it and talk to the teacher that my son was with that day. That was the last I heard of this. The next thing I got in the mail was a letter letting all parents know that one of the teachers had either abused and/or neglected one of the children in the facility. They did not release the teacher's name so I did not know if that was the teacher that had hurt my son. A couple weeks ago by and they release a document that the parents have to sign to continue letting your kids participate. We signed off on all of the clauses except one.“I indemnify and hold harmless the YMCA, any officer, volunteer or employee of the YMCA and all involved with YMCA programs from liability for any harm that befalls my child as a result of participation in YMCA programs.”As a parent reading this, knowing that they had just had an issue with one of the teachers. They are still on probation from that incident. This clause frightened me and I needed som clarification. I ended up calling multiple people in this facility only to not get any of my calls returned. At one point, they did speak with my husband and let him know that if we did not sign off on that clause that our kids would be removed from their care. I went into the facility earlier this week to try to speak with one of the ladies in charge but they told me she had gone home already. The young lady asked if there was anything she could help me with and I asked if she could potentially elaborate more on this clause for me because it made me feel uncomfortable. She was unable to do so, so I did leave the facility and asked that I be contacted by one of the heads.Basically I was told remove my kids from this facility because I asked too many questions that made them uncomfortable. I even talked to the COO and he told me "I will not change this for just one parent." All I asked for was peace of mind, anything that they could do or say to make me feel like my children were safe at their facility but alas they just told me to take my kids somewhere else. This is blatant classism if I've ever seen it. Most of the families that they work with are on CCAP or considered low-income families. They take advantage of your needs and refuse to take any responsibility for their actions. I doubt I'm the only parent that would like to know their children are safe. As a facility that watches people's children, you are responsible for any and all bodily harm that come to my children. Obviously kids do get hurt on their own a lot. A simple solution for this issue should be extensive documentation. Examples: take a picture of every and all injuries that these kids get, document what happened and what actions you took.
