Absolute best eye dr. i have ever been to! I have been to about 4 different ones now always to get my prescription re-done. i never feel like they get it quite right, i have had bad eye sight for my whole life and never got glasses so i can read things from a distance that are insanely blurry really well and i feel like that messes with my eye tests, i always tell people this and they say they understand and then my glasses always make things clear but small or still slightly blurry, this dr. tested me in half the time as any one else so i was a bit worried, but nope he's just 2x better than every other dr. i've been too, these glasses are perfect, the first time i'm happy with my prescription. and the people there are awesome they are all super nice and caring. super a happy i went here. Wont go to any other eye dr from here on out.

A year in and two contact lens renewals later, things have been ultra professional. There’s an email notification that allows you to re-order lens without having to go in. I have two eye plans and they were able to easy manage both with no gaps or issues. They clearly explained my coverage and out of pocket costs and were accurate with their quotes.

First time visiting 7/19/21. Great staff and service start to finish, from reception to preliminary test to exam to frames. Simon, Dr. Kaminski, Dr. Cañas, and Samantha were all friendly and professional. Exam cost is comparable to VisionWorks. They also gave me a helpful discount on my lenses since my health insurance doesn't cover. It was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend MyEyeDr (formerly Vision Source) on Mountain View. 👍

The experience I had at this office and with Dr. Kaminski specifically, left me completely gobsmacked and disheartened by the total lack of care and concern he had for patients. I went to this office after having seen a primary optometrist my entire life. While I don't expect Dr. Kaminski to know and show the same level of care and expertise as my other doctor, it was truly an eye-opening experience from the time he walked into the exam room; the appointment felt rushed and seemingly like I was speaking to a car salesman, with a pitch about making sure I ordered daily contacts. However, what the frantic Dr. Kaminski failed to do and learn, was that I am legally blind in one eye with a host of nuances and intricacies to my vision. His main concern felt like upselling me on contacts and vision tests. After trying to get a word in edge wise, he realized that my eyes were not in fact a one-size fits most and he quickly asked if I just wanted to order contacts from my old prescription...is this best practice for an optometrist? I paid for the office visit and was going to order contacts, but truthfully did not want to give this office or Dr. Kaminski any more of my time or money. I didn't have to worry, because his office staff never followed up with me to order contacts, glasses or anything else. They were happy to take my money, however, and the whole experience was like trying to get an eye exam from a drive-thru window, do better Dr. Kaminski. Take the time to get to know new patients, otherwise you look foolish and the patient is left with a horrifying experience like I was.

Kaminski was rude as hell when asked to give a second opinion!!!! Why Dr Mees had him work with him is beyond me! Never would talk to me after that. Dr Mees retired and we moved to another doctor.

My husband and I had gone for an eye exam to update our contact lenses and the messed up on the first order for my husbands contacts and said they had to re order but never did. Don’t waste your time or money.
