The experience I had at this office and with Dr. Kaminski specifically, left me completely gobsmacked and disheartened by the total lack of care and concern he had for patients. I went to this office after having seen a primary optometrist my entire life. While I don't expect Dr. Kaminski to know and show the same level of care and expertise as my other doctor, it was truly an eye-opening experience from the time he walked into the exam room; the appointment felt rushed and seemingly like I was speaking to a car salesman, with a pitch about making sure I ordered daily contacts. However, what the frantic Dr. Kaminski failed to do and learn, was that I am legally blind in one eye with a host of nuances and intricacies to my vision. His main concern felt like upselling me on contacts and vision tests. After trying to get a word in edge wise, he realized that my eyes were not in fact a one-size fits most and he quickly asked if I just wanted to order contacts from my old prescription...is this best practice for an optometrist? I paid for the office visit and was going to order contacts, but truthfully did not want to give this office or Dr. Kaminski any more of my time or money. I didn't have to worry, because his office staff never followed up with me to order contacts, glasses or anything else. They were happy to take my money, however, and the whole experience was like trying to get an eye exam from a drive-thru window, do better Dr. Kaminski. Take the time to get to know new patients, otherwise you look foolish and the patient is left with a horrifying experience like I was.

Kaminski was rude as hell when asked to give a second opinion!!!! Why Dr Mees had him work with him is beyond me! Never would talk to me after that. Dr Mees retired and we moved to another doctor.

My husband and I had gone for an eye exam to update our contact lenses and the messed up on the first order for my husbands contacts and said they had to re order but never did. Don’t waste your time or money.
