Said open time not busy, took car in at 2 , said would call with inspection 45min 2-1/2 hours later I called nothing done .
I would come and get it.
The hood was open , and they didn’t know where it was .
This was for a brake job.
Never again (?)

I’ve been getting my oil changed and other services at Brakes Plus since I first moved to Colorado and I always have the best experience. All of the staff members are very nice and extremely helpful! I definitely recommend Brakes Plus as the place to go!

Ordinarily, I wouldn't leave a review for this, but due to the severity of this instance, I feel the need to do so.
I took my vehicle in, I knew some work needed to be done. However when they quoted me a 5k$ job, basically a complete overhaul of front and rear suspension, steering, and brakes, I was completely shocked. Not only did it not make sense, there's no way parts and labor should add up to that, but I couldn't believe the car was in driveable shape with the inspection report I was handed.
Luckily for me, I know enough about cars to take a look myself. I came up with parts 1200$ cheaper, looked at the brakes, they weren't cracked like they said, just a small casting defect and some rust. I also checked the play on the steering and control arms, only one was loose.
I then took it to a second shop for another opinion. They said only 2 of the jobs that were quoted before were actually needed. Front brake job, and some tie rods.
Brakes plus - 5k$
Shop 2 - 1k$
That's some serious attempt at highway robbery. I can't imagine what they do to people they suspect lack mechanical knowledge.
Beware with these guys. Nothing personal against the shop crew, but Brakes plus is a chain, and therefore, has its own specific business model they need to follow. If you think it smells funny, get a second opinion. It saved me a ton $$$.

This particular Brakes Plus will now have all my business and my referrals as well thanks to Ken. I'd had some issues going to other shops previously with anyone taking the time to explain what exactly I'd be paying for (since I'm mechanically challenged lol) Ken took the time to explain everything to me in a way I understood where my money was going and gave me a great deal as well. Thank you Ken! Will definitely be back again.

Came in to have 2 19mm bolts removed from the chassis. Service adviser sent out Arnold to remove bolts. Arnold was very informative and generally a happy guy with a plan. Thanks again the was quick and painless. Will be back for any and all brake work. Hey BP hope you’re watching this guy!

Joe at Brakes Plus went above and beyond for us. Discount Tire could not get 2 lug nuts off to replace one of my tires and recommend we give them a try. They had them off in less than 5 minutes at no charge!! Thank you for saving the day!
