They've done work for me in the past, the quality was good, they did do work - and then charge me for - work we had not agreed on. I wrote it off then as honest mistake. Most recently they came off as legitimately dishonest, claiming causes for issues I don't believe were true and quoting far too much for a pretty simple job. Based on some other reviews recently, I'm glad I did not leave my truck there. I will not be going back, ever.
Update: the more I've dug into the work they supposedly did on my truck the more I'm seeing how little they actually did that they charged me for. Take your vehicle anywhere else.

I never write reviews, but I had the worst experience with any business ever with Best Auto. They held on to my truck for over two months with very little communication. Each time I called they said "they are working on it." Finally, someone at the shop told me the truth that they hadn't even started working on it even after it had been there for 6 weeks. And then they finally said they were done with it, the truck still had issues. When I brought it to another mechanic, the issue was a simple fix that Best Auto didn't manage to find (changing the fuel pump/ cleaning the fuel filter). Again this was a terrible terrible experience. Please don't go here.

Dropped my car off the day before Thanksgiving for a 6 hour job. It is now dec. 1st and nobody knows when my car will be done. Ive missed work and training for my new job. Ridiculous.

Best Auto shop we have ever been too. Before we came here we had a different auto body shop “fix” a simple repair which they ended up majorly messing up our vehicle and If it weren’t for Best Auto Repair of Longmont, we don’t know what we would have done. They saved us. They were amazing to work with, even given that our Subaru needed some major and timely work done they did it efficiently and helped us out with the best and affordable price to fix it with no hidden fees. We don’t know what we would have done if we didn’t have them fix it. We will be forever grateful for all of the hard work that was put in to getting us driving our car safely again. Tara and Scott and everyone there were so friendly to work with and gave us straight answers about everything that was needed! Amazing service you know you can trust, and very good people. Scott at the front desk helped get me off the road when my car broke down and was very accommodating when I finally rolled into the shop. Love him and the rest of the crew in the back, highly recommend.

I'd look else where if you're looking to establish a long term mechanic, there is to little information shared with you for them to justify such large changes.
A long with that they will employ scare tactics and attempt to convince you the problem you have is bigger than it actually is.

I am extremely satisfied with the friendliness and willingness to go out of their way to help me today! Chris and the team (including his wife) are dedicated to their business but also have the rare qualities of honest compassion for the customers needs. This is the 2nd year that we've had our car inspection done here. The receptionist was friendly and efficient! Definitely would recommend Best Auto Repair of Longmont staff there are professional and waiting area was super clean!

I’ve seen other “new customers” with similar reviews as mine. There are snakes in the grass here. Steep quotes, and diagnosing problems I just had fixed by an out of town mechanic proved to me they were trying to see how much they could get out of me. Oh to be a woman in the world… rude and unwilling to answer questions… hmmmm glad I didn’t take the bait.
