Disastrously incompetent. The only reason I'm temporarily using this bank is due to legal requirements of an interstate account I manage. Every single interaction has included the staff making boneheaded mistakes that cost me time and money (like telling me that their money market accounts don't have online access of any kind, and providing counter checks that were missing the signature line and routing information), and they have shocking policies like not processing account transfers on non-business days and providing counter checks that all have the same check number (so more than one cannot be deposited in the same bank). The staff seem like genuinely nice people, but their training and customer service are just unbelievably bad.

Getting rid of the drive thru service is I think the worst thing a company can decide to do. Currently looking for new banking options, no thanks PNC I'm not about to bring my toddlers inside when I could do the transaction in a drive thru literally anywhere else.

Worst. Bank. Ever. Completely incapable of transferring money from one PNC account to another. BILLIONS of dollars we have spent rescuing these banks, and this is the service we get? Really?I thought US Bank was awful. This place is vastly worse.STAY AWAY. RUN AWAY. This is the worst bank on the planet. I'm pretty sure I'll never see my own money returned to me.

The same friendly and helpful tellers since the transition from BBVA to PNC, however the bank appears to have been stripped of decor and amenities. Now it’s stark, sterile in appearance. The new manager ignored my presence even as I sat down at one of the bare service desks outside his office to wait for help with my business account.

My mother and I have been with BBVA banking for years. They were always extremely kind and barely ever an issue. When PNC banking came in I chose to close my account. Extremely rude people working for that company. There has been multiple issues with the ATM and accounts. Not a well put together company at the moment.

Terrible service. Expensive fee's on everything. Difficult to work with. There are MANY other better banks to use for your business.

I have been business banking with BBVA since 2016. The service has been decent until the recent merger with PNC. That process has been a disaster so far. I would give one star, but some of the employees are trying to resolve my business banking issues. Once my issues are resolved (if ever), I will update my review.

I would never recommend this branch to anyone. They froze my mother’s account and will not release her funds. They said I need to provide paperwork, but they can’t tell me what paperwork I need. All over $300. Go figure.

Wouldn't recommend BBVA if you have a business. BBVA has terrible online banking. It is complicated and difficult to use and transfer money, especially if it's at another bank. There security is so good, you can't even get your own money out without a hassle and locks you out of the account constantly. I Can't run a business like this. So I went to Chase bank. Only good thing about BBVA is they will happily loan anybody money.

Their credit cards are dishonest and have very corrupt software. Both of the credit cards that I have gotten do not send you a bill for your first month's charges until two months have passed and they can charge overdue fees. You can get overdue charges reversed once yearly. So I go in and talk to the nice people at the Longmont branch, and they get the charges reversed, but they have no power to do anything about the credit card department's corrupt policies. The monthly credit card bills that are sent have no return address at all, and look exactly like junk mail. This disguise is not accidental. Most people are going to blame themselves for not paying their bill, and will let the bank collect these ill-gotten fees. All the other mail I get from BBVA, like statements and policy changes, have a big pre-printed return address in the upper left corner of the envelope. I have cancelled the secured credit card, where you put down $500 or a few thousand in a savings account that you are not allowed to touch, but you can make credit card charges up to a percentage of the amount that the bank holds in your name. It improved my credit rating, to have a credit card, so it was worth the $40.00/ year charge to me.After a year of never being late with my payments again, because I never used that card again, I qualified for their regular credit card, which does not have a yearly fee. But the first month I used it, BBVA pulled their same old scam, where they did not send out a bill until the third month after I had charged something! The bill charged two months of fees. This is a dishonest policy. I got the late fees reversed and will never use this card again. I can keep the card active for free, I just won't use it, unless I have to rent a car. Car-rental companies demand a real credit card and won't take debit cards. Now I can try for a better-quality card from another bank, where they don't try to scam you.

Dishonest billing software! Both the credit cards I have gotten thru BBVA engage in dishonest billing practices. They automatically Pre-bill for late fees and interest, without ever sending out a regular bill that you can pay before incurring those fees. It's just another scam to entrap the unwary. On their secured credit card, where you have to leave $500 or a few thousand in an untouched savings account so you can re-build your credit, I expected terrible customer service, because their target market is those of us who fell into bad credit and can't qualify for better cards. But now I have their regular credit card, and they pull the same scam! I'll fight the late fees, and never use the card again, just like I did with their secured card that I just cancelled. Eventually I'll qualify for a better quality card somewhere else, now that I at least have some low-quality cards. It's harder for a company to rip me off if I never use their cards. It's safer to use cash anyway. Their debit card works fine: they never make any mistakes with that. So, clearly, their credit card overbilling is not an accident.

Angela is fabulous, very competent and responsive. When I have a question, she is the one to whom I turn.
