I only came here out of necessity because I am blind and need glasses and recently moved back to the area. The Longmont Location is absolutely and completely unprofessional and incompetent, and down right rude. Not only Did Tammy the front desk lady act like customers walking in overwhelmed her, the male eye doctor sped through my initial eye exam resulting in an incorrect prescription order. Mind you, I purchased two pairs of eyeglasses and ordered my contact lenses in a trial size to get used to my prescription contacts again since I’d been wearing glasses for a year.
I come to pick up my glasses and contacts and the contacts ending up hurting my eyes because my prescription found by the male eye doctor was incorrect. So I set a follow up exam, where the female eye doctor was a lot better at examining my eyes and actually taking her time to come to a correct prescription. She was the only professional in this place.
Fast forward and I have to re-order my contacts and wait another 3 weeks. One thing I need to mention is that nobody gave me a call to tell me my contacts were ready to pick up, I had to call and inquire.
Next, I was told to bring my new glasses (the ones I just bought) to the location when I picked up my contacts. I Did just that and then proceeded to wait in the waiting room for about 35 minutes before an older lady in a red coat proceeds to grab my paper and said “there isn’t a *insert my name here*.” Had i not been listening I wouldn’t have heard her. After Having to wait for an absurd amount of time, obviously left me a little irritable because I was told someone would take care of me quickly. Also given the situation; this location is seeping unprofessionalism out of every corner. I could have dropped these glasses off with Tammy if she would have taken the time to understand me when I spoke to her, but she kept cutting me off when I was telling her what I was there for.
I proceed to tell the lady in the red coat with white hair, about the situation. She then basically cuts me off mid explanation and tries to order me contacts. When I was very clear from the beginning I needed my glasses prescription corrected as they are the wrong prescription and I was told to do the swap when I came to pick up the contacts. She still couldn’t understand what I was saying and proceeded to act like she was reading something on the computer and and asks me again for my contacts and tries to continue to order me contacts.
I got frustrated and took my contacts and explained the situation with urgency and attitude because I guess my polite voice wasn’t hitting any sense in this lady. I don’t appreciate how she just pushed me out and cut me short again. I wasn’t rude nor was I mean. I’m annoyed because all of the things in this situation could be completely avoided if anyone in this location had any sense, patience or professional customer service skills. I paid for two glasses and it is not my fault this location put the wrong prescription on my glasses.
I came to get an updated eye prescription in my glasses, after having my initial exam in early April. Now, Come mid May and I still have barely received my contacts, and furthermore I have to wait another 10 days for this location to fix their fault and this leaving me with no glasses.
Overall, I experienced Horrible customer service, awful to no professionalism from the workers (minus the female eye doctor), and zero accountability or sympathy for the fault. I will not be returning after I receive my glasses and I will be using my large social media platform to dis-encourage using this business for their eye examination and glasses/contacts needs.
I am disgusted with the customer service and experience and frankly surprised that the older generation employed inside this clinic can’t seem to operate with professionalism or courtesy. Of the work load is too much, quit so other people can take your place.

Visiting the Longmont, CO location was the worst America's Best experience I've had in 20+ years of visits to centers around the country. They did the optional retina imaging without my knowledge or consent (pretended it was part of the package) and charged me at the end. The optometrist attempted to give me a contact lens exam when I only asked for glasses, and they tried to give me bifocals even though the optometrist agreed it wasn't necessary. They were generally unhelpful and rude aside from trying every trick they could to extract more money. If you go here, be extremely vigilant or you'll wind up paying a lot more for a product that doesn't fit your needs.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE customer service!! Went into the store twice to order contacts, not once was i acknowledged i stood by the front desk for over 15 min and not once did someone attend me! I tried calling, hoping to actually be able to place an order lol i was put on hold for over 8 min and then to have them hang up my call! I tried calling again, and once again i was put on hold for over 10 min and again to have my call released! I do not recommend this place to anyone nor will i ever go back! What a disappointment!! i hate i have to give it a 1 star, if there was an option to give it no stars i would!

this place is not the best when it comes to customer service. the prices can't be beat, the quality of the finished product is good, and the Drs seem competent and the employees that assist with the actual glasses when you're getting the frames, etc are pretty good as well ... it's the after care that is lacking ... the front people seem almost aggravated that you're picking up your glasses and there's a couple of people there that are just on autopilot ... it just feels like after you've made the purchase, the care is gone. I hope this location can get it together. Driving to another location is not what I want to do, but I like the product/price so that will be what happens.

Awful experience. Waited an hour. Receptionist did not acknowledge our presence, never gave us updates on when we would be waited on. Horrible service. I cannot even give it one star because the service was so bad!!! Longmont, CO

Fast, friendly and attentive. Super professional assistants and doctors. Myra helped me immensely with insurance confusion and finding the right frames. If I could give this place a 6th star I would. America’s BEST! Yeah!! ??

THEY SUCK. PERIOD. TOOK 3 MONTHS TO FIND OUT MY FRAMES WERE OUT OF STOCK. TOLD TO COME BACK CHOOSE ANY FRAME FOR THE SAME PRICE.LIED. I HAD TO GET CLEARENSE FRAMES. DIDN'T CHECK HOW I WOULD SEE OUT OF THEM.NADA.DO NOT GO THERE.

The staff was great but the dr on duty was a jerk and truly made me want to say nevermind...I will go to Walmart.I feel bad that the office staff has to deal with jerk who complained loudly enough about the last appointments of the day that i could hear it plain as day in the waiting room. Nothing like ensuring your customers know how much you do not want to do your job. I feel so confident that he then gave my daughter a good eye exam after hearing how irritated he was over the patients...My other issue is as I type this review I have been here now for 1 hour and 21 minutes and have gotten only my daughters eye exam completed and am still waiting to even get to the next step...

Been trying to check our order status and they put you on hold over and over again, and never answer. Was really disappointed with the front desk service when we initially came in. She seemed upset she had to actually do any work and it was a very slow day.

The people who work here are very nice even though they re over worked. The doctor and his assistants were much better than the people who were working the last time I was here 2 years ago. I hope this keeps going and they can hire more people. We really need this store in this area.
