The manager has no customer service skills. Initially upon purchasing they were upset i only bought 1 dress. When i went to make a return the manager denied my returns stating they weren't paid for at that location and I needed to go to each store individually to return! This is NOT the stores policy. Completely unacceptable customer service

We are here 40 minutes before closing to look for a homecoming dress for my daughter, and there’s a very disinterested looking employee at the door saying they are closing early and aren’t letting anyone in… at 5:20…. Mall closes at 6. We drove out here specifically for this store. I guess Windsor doesn’t need business!

Dear Windsor Corporate Team,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding an incident that took place on September 12, 2024, at one of your stores during my visit with my 14-year-old daughter to find a homecoming dress. The experience we had with one of your employees was extremely upsetting and unprofessional, and I believe it warrants your attention.
From the moment we entered the store, this particular employee addressed us in a rude manner, informing us multiple times—despite our clear acknowledgment—that we could only try on six dresses. My daughter politely responded “yes, thank you,” yet the employee repeated the rule unnecessarily. When I assured her we understood the rule, she curtly replied, "Well, rules change every day here." Her tone and behavior were both inappropriate and made us feel unwelcome.
Before my daughter even had a chance to try on her dresses, the employee asked someone else to count them. At this point, I calmly asked her why she seemed to be in a bad mood and was treating us this way. In response, she raised her voice and stated, "I'm telling you the rules," in an explosive manner, and then proceeded to call security on me without justification, leaving my daughter alone in the fitting room.
I felt that this action was highly uncalled for and put us in a vulnerable and stressful situation. Given the history of discrimination in similar circumstances, where minorities are often wrongfully targeted, I began recording the incident for my own protection. However, the employee then began spreading misinformation to other customers, telling them that I was recording them without permission, which was not true.
As a mother and a customer, I believe that no one should have to endure such hostility and lack of professionalism, especially in a family-oriented environment where the customer experience is so important. I am deeply concerned that an individual with this demeanor is representing your brand, and I strongly believe that this incident reflects poorly on the Windsor company as a whole.
I am requesting that this matter be investigated, and I would like to know what steps will be taken to address this employee’s behavior. I believe an apology is warranted, and I hope that corrective action will be taken to ensure this kind of incident does not happen to other customers.

the shift time was 5:10 pm the security guard me outside until my daughter came out making me feel like a criminal.

Drive nearly an hour and half to go to this store to look for Homecoming dresses. When getting there, there was a line out the door and a worker only allowing a certain amount in at time. Which was fine. We waited about 30 mins, went inside, picked out 5 dresses which less 10 mins, got in line for the dressing room and waited for about 5 mins when a worker came up and said they already made the last call for dressing rooms and we wouldn’t be allowed to try on dresses. I asked her why they were having people wait in line outside without telling them this, in which she replied that she just told the girl at the door. Considering you’re controlling the entry into the store, maybe telling people at the door should have been done before cutting off dressing room access. We were in the store for about 15 mins and never heard a last call. Mind you, we were in line for the dressing rooms a full hour before the store’s closing time. When I asked where the last person for the dressing room was at, she pointed to someone three girls ahead of us, which means those three people didn’t hear a last call either. Just such a terrible way to do business! She said we could just purchase things and return them as long as they weren’t final sales. Not really feasible for us living so far away. Both workers, the one at the entrance and the one who told us about the last call were completely unpleasant. A bad experience all the way around!

Last minute homecoming dress shopping trip. The selection was good. It was packed & the staff did great accommodating everyone. Very friendly as well. Manager & staff really hustled to get everyone taken care of. You 3 ladies working on 9/12/24 evening deserve recognition. 😃 👗 🙏

Olivia was nothing but rude this morning during our visit in. She was huffing and puffing at the fact that my sisters were in the dressing rooms trying things on, then she was extremely inconvenienced when my other sister didn’t hear her question and she had to repeat herself, nevermind the face she made. Mind you, we were very polite saying please and thank you. I feel for her if she was having a bad day but reading the previous reviews, sounds like you need to rethink your staff.

I went there twice this wee the first time I went there I asked the people nicely and they were very rude so I just left and came back to get the dress after 2 days I like to think that maybe the other employees will be much nicer but I am wrong. they are also rude like the first 2 employees . I will not come back to this specific store. They need to retrain so they can give good customer service.

Love the clothes there, but the service is terrible. I was ready to checkout and there was no line, but it took 20 minutes for an employee to help, even though other employees told me someone would be with me soon. Those employees didn't help me, they continued doing other tasks and helping other customers around the store. Go to the Outlets or just other locations, online is way easier.

Manager should be fired for Racism just because my friend didn’t speak English refused to return or store credit for a shirt that has not been worn had no signs of wear but said that she has the right to refuse a return. It was so disrespectful

I love Windsor I really do they have been my go to dress shop for years but this store always closes early. I've gone multiple times around 5 on weekdays when they close at 8 and are already closed with the lights off. I was in a rush to get a last minute dress so I drove to the other one further south. They also never answer their phone. Service is good when in store and dresses are reasonably priced

I was looking for a dress for a very important occasion. My friend was helping me try on the dresses that I found cute. They gave us a 10 minute limit to try on six different dresses. I forgot to pick up my keys in the dressing room on the way out and the way they got my attention was very rude and totally uncalled for. As me and my friend were checking out the cashier was extremely rude, short, and judgmental. I found a cute dress in the end but will never be recommending this store to anyone.

If I could give you no stars, I would. You should all take a class on customer service. We asked if we could try on a dress, just so happened to be on the mannequin and the only small, salesperson simply refused to help out a returning customer. You do realize without customers you don't have a viable business. But looking at most of these reviews, I am not the only one who feels this way.
