Hailey did an amazing job with my 7 year old daughter, she made her feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing. She was very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips on caring for my daughter's hair. The salon was beautiful and everyone was so welcoming. I would highly recommend!

I have been going to MTC since 2021 and cannot say enough good things about the salon and the people who work there. I have had my hair cut by Charles, Melissa and Hailey and love that I can go to anyone there and know I will leave with the best curls. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable and determined to make sure I leave feeling my best. Every curly person must check out More Than Curly salon!

I have been coming to More Than Curly since they first opened. Every single time I have been so happy with my cut and color and receive so many compliments! I have been to other salons which focus on curly hair over the years. Melissa and her team are the best by far in terms of professionalism and skill. I live in southern New Mexico now and don’t get to come in as often as I used to. But whenever I can I make the trip because I love the friendly atmosphere and also know I’ll be extremely happy with my curls!
Requested style: I wanted to keep my length and Melissa never cuts more than I request. Curly people can relax and enjoy. You’re at the right place.

I would stay away from this place. I had an appointment for my wedding, which I booked two months in advance and was stood up. I showed up to the shop at my scheduled appointment time which I had verified a few days prior just to be sure. I even had the confirmation email. I was told the stylus had the time wrong and I needed to wait an hour for her to get there. I could not believe the attitude from the owner and the complete disregard for their mistake. I had to be in Estes for my wedding and had to race home and do it myself. It was an awful experience!

I went in with expectations for getting my hair cut and styled. My husband and I both told them and showed them a picture of what we wanted. They didn't discuss styles or options with us. They only spent 10 minutes cutting my hair. My hair looks the same, just a little shorter. The owner suggested some type of style to top of my hair and they didn't do it.

After a lot of research for salons that cut curly hair, I visited More Than Curly Salon last week for the first time. Charles sat down with me and listened to my concerns and questions about my combination loose waves and tight waves. Then he explained what he thought would be best for me. All through the cut and styling, Charles talked me through the process. He was patient and informative. I love the cut. It is a much better shape for my body and is super easy to style. The cut also addresses the different wave patterns in my hair, so they all blend and look great. I already have my next appointment scheduled. I'm looking forward to being a regular customer.
