Dillon was so incredibly helpful. I outgrew my beginner board. There were so many ways I could’ve gone with a 2nd board and Dillon explained everything so well.I was able to make a informed decision and happily walked away with a new snowboard. Can’t wait to use it!

My wife and I both went through a boot fitting last year, spent ~$1500 on two pairs of new boots, and had a miserable outcome which had both of us reconsidering if we even wanted to keep skiing. The boots they sized for my wife were so unbelievable tight that her big toe nail fell off after 3 half-days on the mountain. Fortunately when we brought them back last year they up-sized the boot and she's having a better experience.I've been trying to 'break in' my boots both on the mountain and around the house but my first time out this year I was in too much pain to do more than a single run. I was having a lot of pain on the top of my foot which caused numbness, cramps and spasms of my foot and toes while on the lift.As the final part of the fitting they upsold us some $50 Sidas shoe insoles which they installed but never had us test out wearing. I just now realized that they sold me high arch insoles (I don't have high arches) and the increased foot lift from these insoles is what was crushing my ankle into the top of the boot causing all of the pain.On the mountain yesterday I ripped out the insoles, felt a million times better and finally got to have some fun skiing again after a wasted season last year. Sadly they trashed the OEM insoles and now I've got to go hunting for something to put into the boot and trash the ones they upsold me on.The boot fitter we had was a very experienced skier who later mentioned he had hammer toes from how tight he wore his boots. Not the the type of misery I like when I ski. Buyer beware, trust your instinct on fitting (i.e. they won't 'break in' as much as you think they will) and don't get upsold on the inserts without re-wearing them for the same amount of time you initially tried on the boot.

Went here to get a free wax and the employees at the shop seemed like they didn't really care about what I wanted and were rude explaining the benefits of the epic pass. They were on a 9 day wait list for a machine wax.... wont be going back.

I bought used ski boots last spring, $400, and the woman who fitted me said they would pack out after skiing a few times. I am not an aggressive skier and made that clear. I wore these ski boots for the first time this past week. They were terrible -- incredibly painful. I took them to the store where I rented skis for the season, and he said these boots are sized too small for me -- both for my feet and for my level of skiing. Because Epic has a no return policy on some items, I'm now out $400 on unwearable boots. Terrible fitting and terrible policy. I won't be shopping there again.

Drove 30 min here because the employee I spoke with told me the kids bikes were running a 30-40% off sale. When I got there there were only 6 bikes for kids, none for sale and none under $450. When I told the front how I went out of my way because an employee misled me all they responded with was "we do not know who that employee is, sorry". Was going to buy new boots and goggles from here too but will not be going back after that experience.

I feel compelled to write this terrific review of the Lone Tree EMG store - and in particular Jason in the ski tech department. I live in Summit County and have had to come to the Lone Tree store 3 times to get the gear I need (that isn't carried up here in the Frisco shop). The sheer SIZE of this store is fantastic so the selection and space to look at everything is ideal. And Jason is SO great! I reserved bindings for my new Icelantic powder skis over the phone and when I arrived on Christmas Eve their sign said that I wouldn't get my skis back until January 3rd. My bummed look and question about possibly getting them earlier prompted him to say that their department was slower than expected that day and that he would mount and prep the new skis in a half hour! WHAT?! That SO made my day and Christmas - they weren't a gift but it sure was a gift to me to get them so quickly and not have to drive down a second time to pick them up and possibly miss a powder day (fingers crossed for a powder day soon) without these new skis. Turns out we have friends in common and he is a SERIOUS skier so really knows his stuff. Very impressed. Thanks Jason and the staff at Epic Mountain Gear!

Epic had a pair of boots in my son's size and also a pair of skis. Place was busy but they adjusted everything in 15 minutes and we were out of the store quickky.

We had a great experience this morning with Larry in the ski dept at the Park Meadows location. We have been skiing our whole lives and we learned a LOT from Larry about fitting and caring for ski boots. He is a treasure! My son has great new boots, bindings and arch supports. Merry Christmas!

all the stickers and barcodes on the bottom side of the snowboard do not come off easily and leave a residue, whoever is in charge of that should know that’s the last place you would want to put a barcode etc that leaves behind a residue….

Place has gone downhill. Junior trade in is rude and condescending. I question whether staff has relevant skills knowledge. Basically just plug in height and weight and give you whatever they have in stock.

I had amazing service from two different women. They search out for items they had seen on sale! That is customer service. Hope was also amazing at helping us find items for new adults. I wonderful experience.

Just did our 4th junior trade-in in 4 years and now that my child has moved up in skill set, the gear needed to match the level, our guide, Derek, was crazy knowledgeable and helped narrow the options to a manageable selection process and he was incredibly patient with us. He answered all of our questions. The next time I go, I'm asking for him by name. Thanks again!
