I have not moved in yet but I am so excited to live in this new community. Julie Ritter was fantastic in providing information and tour. She also found the perfect apartment for me.

I had a great experience living here at Cortland Lone Tree! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful in the front office especially when situations arise. Julie is amazing and great to work with! The only reason I moved is because of a work change otherwise I would still be living in this community. The community is very safe, friendly and welcoming.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far at Cortland Lone Tree! Matt and Ryan run a tight ship and the maintenance team and office have all been extremely accommodating. Keep it up guys!

I have been a tenant at Cortland Lone Tree for almost 3 years. It has been the worst renting experience. The staff does not maintain the grounds, the amenties are often broken or neglected, the property is often dirty, the apartments also have major maintenence issues, & overall the management's apathetic attitude & lack of care create unsafe situations in the community.Parking is horrendous w/ an inadequate amount of spaces. Multiple people have had motorcycles stolen or had their vehicles broken into. The parking garages leak lime onto your car if it rains or snows & puddles form in the garage. Cortland has made no attempts to remedy those issues.Hallways & common areas are often dirty. Amenties are often left broken for sometimes months or even longer. The pool is open year round & open until 10 pm however the entirety of my living here until the last month of my lease the lights in & around the pool never worked, it made the pool unsafe at night as you could not see the stairs, the pool floor, or the drain. It took these last 5 months of complaining to upper management to finally rectify the issues with the pool lights. Most doors are broken. Instead of fixing the doors promptly, management sends curt emails or text messages saying residents break them faster than they can fix them which somehow makes their neglect to remedy the issues justified. Since the doors are not maintained, I've had to report multiple homeless people in the halls, Packages get stolen often as there are not enough lockers for the amount of residents & their broken doors make it easy for theft. They offer "security" through a 3rd party but security often takes over 30 minutes to get to the property and support is limited. Due to the limited security presence, there is frequent police activity here at all hours of the day.In their apartments, many of their appliances are at the end of their lifespan. I had to have my water heater, dryer, & oven replaced & it took dozens of visits to resolve those issues. I had my living room flood twice due to poor caulking on their sliding glass door. This property isn't safe & they don't do anything to make it safer. I reported that a majority of the lights on their buildings, along their streets & sidewalks were out starting in January of 2023. I made multiple complaints to the "resident experience" manager Julie Ritter. For a full year, she told me they would "look into it" & proceeded to do absolutely nothing to fix any of the lighting in the community. No exaggeration there were over 40+ lights out. Most of the communtiy was in darkness making it unsafe at night between icy sidewalks you could not see and it invited scary people to take advantage of the dark. I gave up after a year of complaints fell on deaf ears.In January of 2024, while walking my dog in their barely lit community, I was sexually harassed along a street on the property that had 6 street lights & every single one of them was out. It was only then that they showed any concern about the lighting. I worked with Matt Magestro, the community manager, which was an exhausting experience. From attempts to dodge accountability, breaking several deadlines & promises, it took me getting Cortland's director of operations, Fallon Thompson, involved to get any kind of movement on the lights. Even then, They continued to break promises to fix the lights & as of May of 2024, there are still lights out because in their attempts to fix them it exposed larger electrical issues they had no awareness of due to their gross negligence.I am finally free of my lease here & will never live in a Cortland property again. I felt it was important to be a thorn in their side to fix the lights for the other unfortunate residents stuck in leases here. Do not live here, especially if you're a woman, especially if you have a dog you need to walk. The area is scary at night. The staff at Cortland do not care about their residents, do not care abou

Cortland Lone Tree provides a welcoming atmosphere that is absent from most residential homes. I am happy with the staff and their willingness to resolve issues.

Matt and team are absolutely fantastic. They work with a sense of urgency and take extreme pride in their work. Everyone that I have met there has been extremely friendly, approachable, and committed to their residents. Thank you Matt, Julie, Christian, Nancy, Ryan, Nick, and Jason for everything you do! I'm sure I've missed others but great work all around!

Been here for 5 months and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love my home, the area, amenities, the community and the staff is always super friendly.Maintenance is pretty timely for requests, quiet neighborhood, no excessively noisy neighbors. The property is always clean and well kept. Trash areas get a little crazy but at its worst is Christmas time for obvious reasons. Parking is tricky, especially for guests, but that’s my only official complaint.

Apartment is nice but no elevators is not a wise choice, hauling everything up stairs everyday is already tiring. Parking situation is not good. Definetly alot of people taking up spots that don't live there and the residents who work late can't find parking unless it's across the whole complex. Each resident should get a spot that corresponds with their apartment.
