Courtney Sackett is truly a MVP! This review is a year late but my mom transferred her accounts from another institution to Schwab and Courtney couldn't have been more pleasant, knowledgeable, none judgmental. After she got my mom set up Courtney even helped me set up a account and helped me understand how it works. If you are looking to open an account, have questions or just want someone who won't leave you feeling icky ask for Courtney!

They offer a robust web portal. 24 hour call service. Only negative is CSRs who are still learning means waiting on hold for them to get answers.If you’re looking for a broker to hold your hand and lock you into their own investment packages, then go elsewhere.If you want a suite of options and the support to DIY, then Schwab is great.Set your investment goals first, then shop around of who to invest with.

Absolutely horrible to do any business with them. I’ve had over 7 calls with their retirement call center and nobody seems to know what’s going on. Inaccurate information on each call, and a different answer from each of them over 3 weeks all for a withdrawal. Their website says 5-7 business days. It’s been three weeks.

Worst brokerage of all. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork and then more paperwork. Nothing makes them happy. I went through 4 ink cartridges and spent 3 hours doing and redoing paperwork... And then spent hours on the phone trying to get everything sorted. MOVING MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable, it's 2023 and you cannot fill out and sign any forms online. Stay away... put your money elsewhere...

This is a terrible bank with incompetent people. They do not know how to treat their customers and they are unprofessional. They don't have time to help you and they are not customer service oriented. I will go somewhere where they appreciate me and my money.

This place is a total joke. The people here are pompus and rude and dont want to help anyone. They act like a bunch of pre-madonnas and they are just tellers. They refused to help me open an account and then walked me back to another girl who was just as cluesless. Dont waste anytime with opening up an account here

Useless website. They make it as hard as humanly possible to get your money. I tried calling in multiple times and their phone system drops the call. The message center doesn't work either. I wouldn't recommend Schwab.

The front desk teller is incompetent and rude. The woman at the front could not answer my questions and would not let me speak with someone who could. Horrible customer service overall do not recommend.

Been with this bank for 5 years and a one star is rating pushing it! I NEVER know my correct balance because their systems are always down or not updated! Customer service never knows how to help! I have Problems with card constantly and get no real solutions other than wait it out and see if the problem fixes itself! The bank as a whole not just this location is NOT THE VIBE!!

Went to the Lone Tree branch in Denver with my daughter and received excellent service. I thought about making an appointment for my business but when I called, they indicated all could be done at the window. The girl was very professional and completed all my estate transactions correctly. It took about 30 minutes but this was ok since I was closing an account.

Avoid like the plague. These idiots made mistake after mistake with my account, a SEP-IRA with my employer. To begin, they got my personal details wrong. I don't quite remember exactly what was wrong (it was either SSN or last name misspelled); however, the end result was that I was not able to access my account because there was a mismatch between the correct information I was putting in the portal vs what they had under my record. I thought maybe that I made a mistake with the form I submitted to them, but I confirmed that I filled out the form correctly. Someone on their end fat fingered it. Worse, they put my money in a money market account and didn't bother to let me know that my account was not authorized to make any trades, and I didn't realize for many many months that this was the case. I remembered making an attempt a few times to trade unsuccessfully. This was during the Covid pandemic, and there was a bit of change going on at work especially WRT retirement accounts, so I didn't prioritize watching my investments with Charles Schwab and seeing this through. I missed out on 1 year of pandemic gains. Usually employer plans allow you to choose elections upon registration or by default put you in some aged based plan. Schwab by default put it all in a money market and their portal was a mess. Schwab NEVER once bothered to inform me that there was a hold on my account. Not by email, not by mail, not by secure message on the portal, or not by indication on the portal (say a warning in RED upon login). They were never able to tell me why my account was suspended either - I've talked to multiple employees, and they were all evasive. At this point, I didn't bother asking them to fix it (I'm not sure they even knew how), as I had made up my mind I can't trust these idiots with my money.

I had appointment for Tuesday and it was cancelled one hour before. Rescheduled by same person and he didn't showed up for appointment.I have to leave Charles Schwab .

I interviewed with this company for an asset transfer Rep. position. Made it through the first interview and received an invitation for a second interview with 3 managers. I wasn't able to "see" them as my videocamera didn't cooperate. I am a very well experienced business woman in the financial industry and I was very disappointed that I didn't get the opportunity to show my abilities and think that I didn't get a fair shake. I guess experience does not mean anything
