There aren’t enough stars to give them! The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. The vet was very thorough and took the time to answer every question that I had and has us setup on a great care plan for our, newly diagnosed, diabetic dog.

This guy is unethical and will charge you for unneeded services. Save your time, money, and pets health and find another practice!

This vet is unethical and will attempt to charge you for unnecessary services. Save you money and your pets health by going elsewhere!

They got me in 2 weeks before anyone else could. Very thorough for both puppies.

We’ve only been coming for a year but the staff is super friendly. The main doc is also very good and the office is a good route for alternative healing with accipuncture. It’s a neighborhood favorite.

Adopted a cat from D*** Friends League, which includes a “Connect for Care” certificate for the animals first wellness exam. I was referred to this vet.I requested an appointment online twice, called and left a voicemail twice, and was never contacted.Because this certificate must be used within 14 days of adoption, I wasn’t able to redeem it. I went to a different vet.

Dr Benson and his staff are wonderful! My senior Chiuahuah is grumpy, he doesn’t love new people or unfamiliar places, struggles with anxiety amongst other ailments due to age. Dr Benson can walk in the exam room, calm my little man down immediately and is able to handle and examine him as if they have known one another all along. It surprised me to see my chi respond like that he won’t even let the mailman too close to the front door he snarls and barks and has that small dog attitude, but with Dr Benson it’s like he trusts him and knows he is in a safe space even when he’s had to endure uncomfortable moments of shots or having his injured shoulder poked and moved around so the doc could determine what was wrong. Not one snarl, no teeth showing, very very grateful for this vet! 100% recommend.

My first experience with Doctor Benson and staff was great. Doctor Benson seemed very attentive and caring especially with my new Guide dog. He was able to answer all of my questions and was very cordial. However, my dog became ill with bloody diarrhea some months later and his office staff wasn't so friendly or accomendating. I Phoned the office to ask if they could see my sick dog same day. Unfortunately the front desk person turned my sick dog and I away stating that they were booked and would not see their sick patient on an emergent walk-in basis, but that we could possibly be seen in one week. This was very upsetting news, Woodlawn Veterinarian Hospital has really let me and my dog down, they offered me no help and no advice for my sick pup. As a Blind guidedog user I'm sorely disappointed in their lack of compassion and concern. If you're looking for a Vet that will truly care amd put your pet's health first Woodlawn is definitly not the place for your loved ones.

I tried calling 2 different numbers listed for this vet, all were answered as Woodlawn veterinary hospital, and then was hung up on 4 times in a row. Extremely unprofessional.Update: while I appreciate your response that does not seem to be what happened. Each time the phone was answered and then they immediately hung up after I finished talking. There was no confusion from the person on the other line. I also tried both phone lines you have set up and was met with the same disrespectful action . I also never received a call back so it doesn’t seem that there was an effort to contact me.

We have seen Dr. B for years but tonight we had to take our 11-year-old mastiff mix in for pain with her arthritis issues ,it was a Very busy day for Dr. B we could see that he was in and out of rooms in between looking after our Naylahe found time for us went the extra mile did acupuncture and laser and X-rays for her just to make sure that she was feeling better and to get some of the pain under control, he has always taken care of our two girls but he really went out of his way today and I just want all of you to know how much she cares for his patience thank you Dr. B and everyone at Woodlawn Vet I appreciate you so much❤️
