Lived in 3 states the last 5 years so my taxes needless to say were far to complicated for me. Michael at HONS Tax Associates LLC rescued me with his knowledge of Federal and State Tax returns. I have used Michael for tax preparation for many years. He does an amazing job and I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially as a small business owner, he does my corporate taxes and my personal taxes. I came to Hon’s tax services through my financial advisor. He did not inform either one of us that he had previously worked with H and R block, and had signed a competition agreement to not work with customers that filed with them years prior. He wasted my time and made me feel uncomfortable as he kept looking at my tax documents. I don’t trust people who aren’t forthcoming with such information and I find it very strange he doesn’t communicate these items before bringing people into his business.Make sure you ask him all details before going on, as he will not tell you himself.

Wasn't impressed. With the name "tax office" you'd think they were experts in their field. Don't believe it! I brought in a somewhat involved tax situation and they gave me back what I easily could do on my own in 20 mins. When pressed with questions about my return and the tax code/laws in general they both gave me blank stares with I don't know answers. I honestly don't think they have been trained or lack tax preparation experience. Use extreme caution, I wouldn't go here unless you have something simple that can be done with TurboTax or need your 1040EZ filled out for you.
