Moved in recently beautiful complex with lots of grassy areas and very nice stone countertops newly renovated. Move in was less than ideal, but we were eventually accommodated by the property manager. She made sure things got done right. The pool is really nice during the day, however the hot tub is anything but Hot so we never use it if they made it hot like it's suppose to be, I would give 5 stars.

We moved out the second week of August and after a few weeks, we were emailed that we should be receiving our deposit in the mail, then after a month of not receiving it, we contacted the leasing office to find they had a new property management team and the deposit would be coming closer to the 60-day limit. The leasing office told us that our deposit would be put in the mail on the 12th of October, going from Lone Tree to Denver. We have not received it, and whenever we call the leasing office, they say they will give us a call back. They never do. It has been over 60 days, and no one will give us a straight answer as to where this deposit is. We had a pleasant time living here, but if you have ANY plans to ever leave, just know that you will not be taken care of.

This property used to be beautiful. But over the last several years it has been poorly maintained and managed. The apartments are spacious, larger than most. The caliber of people that live here are horrible. No respect for wildlife (baby birds slaughtered) or property. There have been at least five different management companies and each one just gets worse. Maintenance issues are ignored and the grounds are in really bad shape. And you can count on at least a 3% rate increase every lease renewal but you get less and less for your money. It is NOT luxury living in Lone Tree.

Once they get you in they stop caring about you. This company is so all over the place that 3 years after living there we are still dealing with the idiots that work here. Avoid at all costs

We moved out at the end of July and received a final move out statement on 08/08 with a personalized message from the Assistant Business Manager that our refund ($2500) would be sent out in a few weeks. It is now 09/14 and we haven't seen our check. What is upsetting is not the timeline but that I cannot get ahold of anyone at the office now. I have left 3 messages and sent 2 emails in the last week with absolutely no response whatsoever. The only request I had was that someone call me to provide a status. It doesn't matter the time of day, I cannot get through by phone, I'm always sent to voicemail. This isn't the only issue we have had with this management company but this is by far the most frustrating and disappointing experience since we are due a large sum of money and now we apparently don't matter since we no longer live there. Will have to now make the hour drive to Denver to get a response in person.

UPDATE 8/14/23:We have now been residents here a little over 5 months, and would like to update our initial review.PLUMBING:Our toilet continues to have a black growth inside the bowl, and we believe it could be black mold. We were told by maintenance & management that it "does not look like black mold" and for us to pour clorox down the toilet to clean it and should remove it. We clean the toilet weekly, and every week the black mold looking growth continues to come back and worse. Nothing has been done to test or fix this issue.PARKING:The building we live in no longer has enough parking spaces for the residents who live here. If you plan to come home after 4pm, good luck finding any parking anywhere near your building. Some residents in this same building have so many vehicles they own it takes up all the spaces that could be available to use, as they use them to store their additional vehicles and campers and never move them. I thought we were allowed to have one vehicle per resident, not a 2 person unit with 5 vehicles? There has been a camper parked/stored in the same parking spot since we moved in that has NEVER once moved, and the trailer is actually implanted into the parking lot surface.PARKING SURFACE:A sinkhole started on 6/22/23 after a big storm, and the complex has done absolutely nothing to fix it as it has grown and the entire driving/parking area near it is also coming up from the ground and causing major safety concerns, including other potholes near it.NOISE:We had new residents move in above us with the loudest dog ever who they seem to enjoy playing fetch with the large dog upstairs that all day/late night all you hear is running, jumping, barking, and it is basically a nuisance. The walls in the units are not very sound barring so you literally hear all your neighbors all the time, absolutely horrible making it hard to enjoy being home.APT BUILDING EXTERIOR:I speak for our building as the cement stairs going to 2nd floor are breaking apart and have large cracks, safety concerns that are never addressed. The 2nd floor of this building has a LOT of dirt, liquid stains from people leaving trash outside their doors, and a lot of nasty spider cobwebs building on walls/ceiling of breezeway. We received an email about the complex "going to powerwash breezeways" in June 2023 (now August 2023) and this has never happened. Mentioned this to office staff about a month ago, said not really a big concern for them to get done, so more than likely will not happen. It's obvious the complex does not take care of these buildings for residents even when there are safety issues and filthy buildings.AMENITIES:Hard to enjoy as always packed full of kids and others.SAFETY:Seems good so far, no issues.

Been here since 2017. Have seen lots of office staff/managers come and go. I've had a variety of issues over the years i.e. water damage but it's all been addressed in a timely manner. I think the current staff i.e. Carlos are doing amazing. I recently needed a larger unit and they were more than helpful in making a smooth transition from 1 unit to another. Thank you!!

When I lived in my apartment for ~2.5 years I literally had no complaints. Finally after more than TWO YEARS of not living at the Retreat, a random debt collector reached out to us. We literally thought it was a scam and called the Retreat to ask if they work with the debt collectors that called us and we received a "We've gotten a few calls like this, we think management switched debt collectors. We think it's legit" which was not very reassuring! When we had moved out, there were no dues, the final bill was paid off. And now all of a sudden we see a debt?! I'm honestly shocked that so many people in these reviews are going through the same thing right now! Please spare yourself the headache and stay far away from this place!

When I lived in my apartment for ~1.5 years I really had no complaints. It's since I moved that The Retreat at Park Meadows has been an absolutely horrible business to deal with. When we moved out we continuously reached out to try to get our security deposit back to no avail. Literally for months no one would get back to us when we ultimately accepted that we weren't going to get any information on why we would not be receiving our security deposit back (which is 100% illegal btw!). Finally after TWO YEARS of not living at the Retreat a random debt collector reached out to us. We literally thought it was a scam and called the Retreat to ask if they work with the debt collectors that called us and we received a "We've gotten a few calls like this, we think management switched debt collectors. We think it's legit" which was not very reassuring! Working with the debt collector we were finally able to get an itemized list of why we apparently owe them hundreds of dollars only to see that they are claiming that we did not give 60 days notice of our move out. We literally have written proof that we gave 60 days notice which proves that the Retreat still owes us at least part of our security deposit back and now The Retreat is not accepting our dispute. I'm honestly shocked that so many people in these reviews are going through the same thing right now! Please spare yourself the headache and stay far away from this place!

Are lease is about up we had a 7 month lease and was 2k a month for a 2 bed 2 bath. We still have not found a house and we were going to renew and they are increasing it to 2300 a month if we do a 12 month lease or it will be 4k a month for a month to month lease. I feel like they think they can raise it that much because you would rather pay it then to move again.

Definitely way too overpriced. We've had too many issues to be paying $2500/mo. It started within the first week of moving in. Our elec bill tripled for some reason; even though my teenager moved out since the last place, so you'd think not having an extra human staying up all night watching tv would help lower the bill, but oddly that's not been the case. There was some weird red sticky stuff in random spots along the baseboards that I kept noticing as time went on (see pics). It looks like kool-aid maybe. That tells me they didn't clean nor paint this place before we moved in. There's sketchy patching of things in the kitchen & bathroom (see pics). It literally took them 6 months to get a heating element replaced in my dryer (see pics). It took them 2 months to get our attached garage door fixed, which I saw as security issue if it's not shutting correctly, but they were in no rush to address. Also, at 6 months they started charging us mid-month for random unnamed charges. The dogs two buildings over bark late into the night left out on their balcony. The package locker room is a theives dream! They just leave packages unattended piled up for the taking. The office lady absolutely shrugged this off when I tried to get their help on lost packages during Christmas. The property's security gate has only worked half the time I lived there too. This was a nightmare of a choice moving in there. I most definitely wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of other comparable communities with higher standards, adequate staff, and pricing that matches the quality. Plus, I really wish I'd paid more attention to the previous reviews about this place.AFTER LEAVING MY REVIEW: BUSINESS MANAGER RESPONDS, MY RESPONSE IS: "I tried to talk to you for the past 6 months & the people in this local office don't respond or blow things off. I've let them know my well established influencer status, that reaches well beyond Yelp & that I was leaving an honest thorough review, as I always do in situations worth mentioning, but didn't get my issues resolved any faster. In fact, I was insulted when I directly emailed the main manager here, he responded to my husband's email instead of mine. In this house, the WOMAN handles the finances & business dealings. Thank you very much. So what all of a sudden could you possibly want to talk about?! You have my email address, how about you contact me. Because if I contact this office, they'll respond months later, if at all. We're already searching for our next home, which won't be a Lincoln Property. By the way, I can review again in another 6 months & always update. So I'd have a talk with your staff here". Unquote.

Trash ?️ company. Still currently dealing with them from a lease that ended over 2 years ago. I Do not recommend this property at all. Negligent staff and zero accountability.Update: 05/16/23They say to call the office, but I have already done so many times. Their excuse is that the last group working when I lived at the property was not doing their job right so now that the new team is in, they are getting everyone invoiced that did not get invoiced two years ago. Retreat at Park Meadows sent me to collections for two months rent at the month to month rate $2300 when I paid $1340 when I lived there. They say that I did not give proper notice that I was moving out in 60 days so they would invoice me for two months rent. The residential portal was down the last few months. I live there, so I communicated with Stevie Davis. (she no longer works there) via email and face-to-face. They say that there is nothing that they can see in the residential portal saying that I communicated with Stevie. (It didn’t work the last 5 months of living there) I definitely don’t recommend renting from here. If you have an issue, it is like talking to a wall. I will definitely stop in in person and get everything addressed as soon as possible since they decided to send me to collections. Watch these people and do not trust them.

I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. PLEASE READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS AS WELL. When I moved out 2 years ago, I had questions regarding my final balance. I could never get an answer from them. Two years later, I find out I have been sent to collections. I've had to settle with a collections agency. Because of the negligent and borderline unethical behavior of Retreat at Park Meadows, my credit score will suffer. They also charged me for a carpet replacement fee and yes...I did not find out for 2 years. Completely unacceptable - find another place to live.

Very poor communication and frustrating experience. Moved out on January 2022, provided forwarding address, all our emails for post move out communication. Got debt collection call on March 2023 saying we have remaining balance. How come we never get any details through our email or on our physical address. Not our fault that old team moved out.

Sketchy billing practices, negligent workers, no communication, faulty software, low maintenance. Speaking to the leasing office is like talking to a wall. Not helpful. Simply says "the last team must have forgot to put that into the system" Ok, that should be something you take accountability for. Just be aware as a resident you can do everything you are supposed to do on your end but still get a bill because of their negligence.
