They helped me every step of the way through my dogs dental procedure, and were transparent about what he needed and the price. The prices were fair and the staff was empathetic and understanding.

An incredibly caring group of veterinary professionals. Reasonably priced animal services and amazing care. We thank you and your team Dr. Douglas!

Our dog Lady Bug was a patient here since we adopted her almost five years ago when she was 6 years old. Two years ago, she was diagnosed with two tumors and we knew we were on limited time with our girl. Dr. Seaton, the other veterinarians, and their entire staff provided the best of care for Lady Bug. We were so fortunate to have almost two extra years with her because the care she received. We have never had a single negative experience with Nelson Animal Hospital. We recently said goodbye to our pup. The entire team made an awful experience the best it could possibly be, and showed us empathy, care, concern, and professionalism every step of the way. We feel so fortunate to have had this organization with us as we cared for our dog. We will be back when we are ready for a dog again. Nothing but wonderful things to say about Nelson Animal Hospital.

I was told it would be anywhere from $800 to $900 to Spade my cat when my first female cat only costed me roughly $280 with her shots in Wyoming! Good job Colorado you're to expensive.

They we're so caring and compassionate. My fur baby was sick for the first time ever and they were so gentle with her. She loved them and she doesn't always take two new people that well. It just seems like she knew they were going to try to make her feel better I was very pleased and I will be taking her back there for care in the future

They were super great with my dog. She was nervous but both the vet and the technician were gentle and handled her well. They did a great job explaining my dog’s health and the procedures in a way I could understand and feel confident about. I am happy we found them!

This place has gone downhill since they renovated.Started going there in 2021 after a recommendation from someone at Sprouts. Had an appointment for our diabetic cat.Right away, comments were made about me and my partner "oooh, kitty must love having 2 daddies, so they can spoil you!". This was our FIRST time after going, and it was remarkably unprofessional. But I let it go.A little while later, we take another of our cats there. He died with NO prior issues. It was a simple health check. But my boy was dead an hour later. For some STUPID reason, I kept taking my other cat there.Last year, they decided to stop doing business with Chewy. So now I have to PLEAD for a paper rx EVERY TIME he needs insulin because they "don't like Chewy". Finally, today after calling, and being rudely helped by the receptionist, I am DONE with them. I should have been done with them when they killed my cat.

Gave my puppy adult dose of vaccines, he then got sick (non curable) with autoimmune disease. He had to be put down before his 1st birthday. Didn’t even CALL that they had his ashes I received a txt. Very negligent, unprofessional and lack of sympathy. I have been a customer for over 10 years. Won’t be going back!

First off, the receptionists are EXCEPTIONALLY rude. This pharmacy routinely made fun of me and my partner. They "didn't like" my pharmacy. They don't send appointment reminders. The "ladies" at the front are bitter, selfish and RUDE.

Every vet we have seen at Nelson Animal takes the time to explain the situation and best treatment. The staff is caring, compassionate, and accommodating!

Friendly staff. And helped my dog with her broke nails. People can say the prices are high. But what would you do if your loved pet was in pain. Wait and find some place else while you pet suffering in pain or pay to help your loved pet . You may lose money. But thewhat the money pays for will help you pet suffer less. If you can't afford it a second time. Use the frist to find a solution that fits your budget.

My dog was bit at the dog park and we didn't notice it until later in the evening. I left a message with Nelson and with our normal vet. Nelson called first thing the next morning and got us in same day (other vet didn't call until late afternoon). My dog has separation anxiety and didn't want to be left alone in the kennel so one of the vet techs stayed with our dog instead of going on her lunch break. They also clipped our dog's nails while she was sedated! This place really cares and goes above and beyond. This will be the only clinic we go to from now on.

The whole staff is caring and professional. We recently moved and we’re half an hour away, but we’ll continue to use Nelson rather than switching to a closer vet.

Dr Seton and the staff here are amazing. From the receptionist to the vet techs everyone was so nice to my dog Milo and I. Dr Seton was very thorough and explained everything to me about what is going on with my beloved dog (I had lots of questions) this is a wonderful clinic and we will be going here from now on and would recommend this place to anyone
