Joe and his team made the whole process of buying my first home very easy! They laid out all the details needed to help them help me and this led to them getting me preunderwritten. They made everything clear with the numbers and I was never stressed about all the payments that come with buying a home because of how they laid them out and explained them to me. Without them, this process would’ve been very difficult but I’m glad I chose to work with modern mortgage and hopefully it’s the first of many times using them while buying property!I just bought a second home within the year and used modern mortgage and the process was so easy. Lay things out for you and make it clear what they need from you in order to get the underwriting going, and then they do a wonderful job from there! Highly recommend!

It was such a pleasure working with Virginia at Modern Mortgage. I appreciated how thorough she was and her team's great communication every step of the loan/closing process. Laura Berry was my Mortgage banker and she was awesome! She was super communicative throughout the entire process, she made me feel supported as well since this was the first time I was buying a home. She walked me through every single step and she answered all my questions along the way. She even showed up to my signing! I am now a very happy homeowner and Laura continues to be there for me as I navigate the mortgage. I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with her and the Modern Mortgage team. From day one our lender, Laura Berry was incredible! My husband and I needed to be educated about the whole process even though I had already purchased a condo previously. Laura never made either one of us feel dumb. She made us empowered with information so we could make informed decisions that were best for our family. There were many times that she ran numbers on houses we were interested in and toured. Her response was always so quick, professional and she always had suggestions or ideas on how to better our situation or offer! Laura came to our closing and it was so great to meet in person! Even after closing she has continued to check in on us and ensure we are all set. And she sent us a very yummy gift once we were all moved in. We will continue to work with her and give her our highest recommendation!

I had the opportunity to work with Mr Joe Biniasz at Modern Mortgage. As a first-time homebuyer and being new to the area, I had a lot of questions about the process. Not only did Modern Mortgage offer me the best rate among lenders I had looked at, but Joe took time to explain the process to me, gave instructions on how to read forms and documents, and answered every question I had.I’m generally pretty skeptical of someone trying to win my business by telling me they’ve got my best interests in mind. But the openness to questions, prompt and professional correspondence, and the willingness to be honest about the numbers (and ultimately offer the best ones for me) that Modern Mortgage and Mr Biniasz provided were pretty special. In addition to the excellent customer service, the Modern Mortgage website was among the easiest to use that I had seen during my time getting quotes from different lenders (and very compatible across a variety of devices and browsers).It was no surprise pulling up this page and seeing so many 5star reviews with glowing comments. Ultimately, the decision for a lender just comes down to comparing numbers, but what Joe and Modern Mortgage are doing really makes things a lot easier and more manageable.

As a first time homebuyer, Laura's team has been awesome to work with throughout the entire house buying process. She's very open and eager to explain so many fine details about the lending process and the different nuances of available options, and really helped find the best game plan for my own situation. Beyond that she's been helpful in demystifying differences in insurance plans and has been very available through the closing process. I would 100% go through her again and fully recommend working with Modern Mortgage.

Worked with me on all things financing and game planned different scenarios with rates in the current environment. We are first time home buyers and were referred by our realtor to Laura Berry at Modern Mortgage to help with our loan. Laura was absolutely incredible to work with!! Being new to this process and having zero knowledge of mortgage loans and buying a house, she took the time to throughly explain every thing to us and really helped us to feel comfortable the entire time.
