I stopped by with an odd job that several other tailors said they couldn’t help me with. Mike was exceptionally friendly and told me he could fix my watchbands while I waited. I had another shoe repair place adjust my previous watchband in Arizona and Mike did so much of a better job. Rather than just cutting it and sewing it, he came up with a creative workaround to make it look a million times better than the one I had previously done. You can’t tell it’s been adjusted. His customer service was excellent and his work was superb. Highly recommended for whatever your project.

Repaired the heel of my dress shoes better than the original. Looks amazing. In addition to the fantastic shoe repair they replaced my jeans broken zipper. 100% CSAT!!

I brought in my 2 favorite pairs of leather boots to be resoled. Mike suggested also replacing the stacked leather heels. They look like NEW BOOTS!!! I searched for 2 years for replacements and couldn't find any boots equal to these!!! It was worth every penny!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Can’t believe this place talks to customers like this… I called to ask if I need an appointment to help refit my cowboy boot better to my foot. The man who answered the phone responded with attitude saying “I don’t know what you think we can do to refit a cowboy boot”. I’m not familiar with “cobbler repair terms” but this is why I ask a professional to help me figure out what I need. I am flabbergasted in the way he talked to me. I will never give this place my service.

The owner / cobbler "Mike" was extremely knowledgeable & was able to help right away, same day even...
My wife has small feet and she is one of our Friends brides maid's so of course when she ordered the smallest shoe size (5) they were still a whole size too big but she still wanted to match with everyone...
So I looked & found "Governor's Plaza Shoes & Repair", they were able to add an extra insole & even sew the back strap a little tighter so now she can wear them without slipping out...
Mike the owner / cobbler was a top notch professional & knew exactly the route to take to make the shoe's fit...
We will definitely recommend them & will use them in the future for all our shoe & leather goods needs....

I walked into Governor's Plaza Shoes and Service because my leather jacket had 2 tears that I wanted repaired. I met Mike (the owner) who was so helpful and pleasant. He repaired my jacket and it looks great. I was curious about how the repairs are done and he patiently explained the process. He told me he can repair a lot of things. I had an issue with my purse straps coming unhinged from the bag and he offer solutions and fixed it while I waited. Mike said he's been in business for 30+ years and has been doing this work for 50 years. If you need anything fixed, even things you have doubts can be fixed, I suggest you stop by and see Mike. He's a delightful man with lots of knowledge. What a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this small business!!!

I had a great experience with this wonderful store. My white sandal looked brand new after repair. This place is amazing and I will return again if need be. Oh yes, they did not charge me for the repair. What a wonderful gesture!!

Mike & his son are great people. I'm 77 yrs old and came in with a new pair of boots that need some adjusting for my bad feet. Mike stopped what he was doing and did a terrific job of fixing them and did this while we waited. Very nice clean shop with lots of extras and he is a craftsman when it comes to leather. Thank You Mike.

I’ve been looking for a good shoe repair shop and found a great one!!
My favorite boots were very worn down and needed major repair to the sole. I wasn’t even sure they could be repaired.
They did a great job, look like new and had them ready in 5 days!!
The repair price was reasonable.
They’re very friendly and welcoming!!

The photos speak for themselves. I’ve used their services twice and both times they were polite and helpful and did a great job with quick turnaround and low pricing. I thought my boots were done for and they did an amazing job restoring them.
