I have been in a search for the best thrifting in the Denver Metropolitan Area. This is the best store so far, by far. Clean, well organized, good selection reasonably priced with great deals (50% off tags, 30% off tags, $2 last chance tags.) I especially liked their attention to sorting out plus sizes and the kindness of the staff.

I'm writing this review as I stand in line with about eight other customers as the manager stocks the show to machine and pretends to ignore us all even though he made direct eye contact with me, twice.

This used to be a pretty good store until they reorganized a number of years ago. Now it feels more like a donation station and anything good goes to another store or online.

The inventory here is pretty good. I have been here several times and every time I've been here the tall gentleman the manager is the rudest person I've ever met. The rest of the staff has pretty good customer service but you can tell because of him this store does not know how so respectfully treat guests they all treat you as if you're a burden being in their store. Teaching the staff fundamentals of customer service would go a long way who wants to go to the store and have to deal with rude people that treat you like you're unwanted in their house.

They closed the fitting rooms (at all Goodwill's I think) :( how do u buy clothes especially jeans without trying the on?? Moreover there are no refunds if u take stuff home and it doesn't fit, only credits. I used to buy a lot of clothing here, almost always found cool stuff, now I don't buy clothes there anymore. And yes some stuff is over priced.😔

Employees can make a business successful, but a manager can ruin it...
It is a running joke that Goodwill doesn't know how to adequately price what is *given* to them to sell as some of the time they price items higher than bought new...sometimes with the original tag right next to theirs. There are multiple social media sites dedicated to this phenomenon and while I chuckle at them when the roll though my feed, it isn't very often that I get to experience it first hand.
I came across an item that still had the original bar code and the Goodwill tag was 25% higher than new. Since I felt I could use the item, I tried to approach the manager (Nathan? Maybe? I didn't get a chance to get his name...more on that later) to discuss a price adjustment and as I'm almost yelling at him from 10 feet away, he continued to walk until he's in the back employees' area.
Ok, maybe he couldn't hear me...I can live with that.
So I ask one of the employees to let him know I'd like to talk to him. She come out a few minutes later...no manager...a call comes over the intercom asking for his assistance up front. He comes out right past me as I try and get his attention again, he keeps on trucking.
Ok, maybe the employee forgot to tell him...
Or maybe once her heard his call for assistance, it slipped his mind...
...but it is starting to seem like he's avoiding me...
I head back up front and once he is done with his duties, I make sure to stand in front of him to get his attention. I did, but it didn't seem to matter as he WENT AROUND ME AND NEVER STOPPED. In the 2 seconds he was near me, I told him that the pricing was messed up and and wanted to talk about it, but as he's 10 feet away from me, he says, over his shoulder, that the items are priced as marked. I didn't get his name, he didn't stop long enough to ask or see a name tag. I gathered my things and left...
It's not very often that something upsets me, and truth be told, I would have accepted the same answer if he had actually stopped for 30 seconds to talk to me about it. But he didn't have time for that apparently and I guess that whatever he had to run to was more important than conducting some actual customer service. That's ok, I'm sure someone will address this behavior...if not now, than somewhere down the line when he dismisses someone who actually has some authority over him.
To be clear I rarely have issues with the employees and management there. Most of them are super nice and will go out of their way to help you out. The other rude manager (I don't recall his name either) was also very dismissive, but I haven't seen him in a while.

WAY OVERPRICED anymore. Used to have great deals, now it's almost as much as new if not more than new. Go to ARC they have better prices... This place went downhill in the last 3 or 4 years.

They apparently don’t take good quality items anymore, wouldn’t take a nice wood corner stand because it was painted. I’ve seen worse things being sold here, but they will sell something that’s broken for way to much $$.

Great selections and staff. No fitting room access at a thrift store makes for a horrible experience.

Preston at this store was the cashier on the evening of the 19th of July. Preston was extremely friendly, professional and polite. It was easy to talk to him about little things and I was happy to round up at his request. Preston made it a nice visit.

I am done with this goodwill. Multiple occasions of this happening. Load my car up and they refuse to take stuff. Three solid wood bar stools in good condition. Then I have to take it home and unload it. America wake up you can’t depend on goodwill. Find somewhere else to donate.
