Just had Dave and Kirk perform mom's funeral, as we have in the past for several other loved ones in our family. As usual they did an impeccable job guiding us thru the whole process. Kirk, Dave and Lucy treated us like family in our time of need. Their compassion, patience and understanding was appreciated and very much needed during this difficult time for our family. They handled all of the preparation and guided us thru every step of the process. Even though we don't want to be "repeat customer's" it is comforting to know we can trust them to do an outstanding job.

Kirk Ellis is the absolute BEST! My family has used his services unfortunately too often, but Thank God, we had him there for us and will not contact anyone else in the future. Kirk is a man of his word; he takes care of the families who go to him assuring you "he's got it" and he ALWAYS does. He is very kindhearted and did everything he could to make our difficult time as stress-free as possible. I can't imagine anyone handling our situation any better. Kirk handled everything and had the resources & knowledge to arrange our beautiful services. We will be forever grateful for everything he has done for us.

If you are needing their services you are going through a very difficult time. I want to assure you they were the most caring professionals. My experience from start to finish with Kirk and Dave was amazing. I needed my husbands service done quickly and not only were they able to work quickly for the cremains, Dave put together the most beautiful 15 min tribute to my husband in very short order. They were so good to us and the service was perfect and the chapel was beautiful. I highly recommend them.

The day before a funeral at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Ellis posted the wrong Staging area for people to meet. Apparently they corrected it the next day, the day of the funeral. Two of us had verified the location on Sunday for the Monday funeral. Ellis, KNOWING it had posted the wrong staging area chose to not have anyone at Staging area B to direct mourners to the correct staging area. Both of us first met this veteran in the 1970s, and were very disappointed in not being there to give our support to his family.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kirk Ellis and his staff. Kirks professionalism and kindness was above and beyond and he took care of everything. Saying goodbye to my mother was so hard but Eilis Family Services made the process bearable, thank you Kirk and Staff

Love, love, love Kirk and Dave! They handled my moms funeral service, songs, video and fingerprints with so much respect. Can’t imaging have a funeral service with any other funeral home. My mom looked even better than when she was sick. I highly recommend Ellis Family Services for any funeral need. You won’t be sorry!

I wish I could give 0 stars. If you care about your loved one don't take them to Ellis Family!!! Myself and my family were treated so badly by Dave that he called me at 10:30 pm the night before my mother's service and was actually screaming at me on the phone! It got so bad that my daughter finally had to take over. There was absolutely no help or compassion from this facility. I asked about fingerprint jewelry and was told by Lucy, oh we didn't get her fingerprints! We were never even asked if we wanted them. The whole experience was so sketchy and during a time when a family is grieving there was zero compassion. Dave should not be in this business. He treated us as though he was a salesman for the dead! To have a funeral director screaming at you is unthinkable in the time of grieving. I actually couldn't even concentrate on my Mom's service, because I didn't want to be there. My husband took the time right after the service to go in and ask to pay our invoice right then so we never had to deal or talk to anybody there again! Dave was sitting there and wouldn't even look up at my husband but did take the check! Shame on Ellis Family Services for treating my family like you did! I'm sad, angry and disgusted.

I was trying to edit my post regarding a pre paid funeral plan, found no way to change it. So I’d like to say Dave reached out to me to resolve the problem. I really appreciate him taking his time to clarify things for our family. Very helpful, if we would have been able to talk to him 3 weeks ago there would have been no bad review wrote. I will stick to my guns though on the fact that if you have to use their services speak with Dave or Kirk. Lucy is just rude.

My mother in law bought a pre paid funeral through Ellis. 5 years later we moved to Florida I called spoke with Dave he told me to call a few funeral homes to see if they would transfer the policy to them. I did this, all of them told me to cash it out and then re do the policy since it would not cover the the cost now. I had my mother in law call she spoke with Lucy who told her it doesn’t matter just call us when you die then we will find some place for you??? Really should she just lay in my house until they do since I had no luck. So I called again got Lucy. Very rude piece of work. She told me Dave wasn’t in as I heard him in the back telling her what to say. So then her reason for not helping me with this was my M I L bought an urn. I said do you have it? Well it’s in stock. So you don’t have it on had. So finally she told me to call the insurance company and deal with it. DO NOT BUY A POLICY FROM THEM. VERY RUDE TO DEAL WITH.

I highly recommend Ellis. A coworker recommended this place to my wife and my family had a lot of time to research other funeral homes. Ellis was in a different league than other local funeral homes.Kirk and Dave are very honest, warm and compassionate people. They don't pressure you with sales and they helped me and my family plan a wonderful service for our mother. They also recommended a good chaplain and have plenty of room for larger groups.Also, I would recommend their tribute DVD. They put together an awesome tribute To our mom with music and photographs of our family. Now I have a great DVD to watch when I want to reminisce.We looked at about 4 funeral homes in the Denver metro area and they were by far the best.
