Lost rental then over billed no receipt it's a nightmare

RENTER BEWARE! If I could give budget zero star rating I would!! Rented 2 cars from them during a recent Boston trip. One car wasn't available when I went to pick up and I had to Uber for $80 to get to a location where there was actually a car which was very dirty. We were charge 2 extra days because the location I was supposed to drop at same day wasn't open. One of the cars broke down on us 2 times and they made us wait 4.5 hours for tow truck and did not provide us with another car and still charged us for the full rental period. We had to Uber for the next 24 hours of our trip which cost us over $300 they only reimbursed us 50 and then said we did damage to the car which they charged us $50 for. They gave 3 day credit on our rental which accounted for 2 of the days we couldn't use the car. They also harassed us for 3 days after the car was picked up by tow truck saying we hadn't returned our car. NEVER AGAIN AVIS/BUDGET!

My significant other and I work in wildland fire. We are sent all across the country and rent cars for weeks at a time. We’ve been Enterprise customers for years, but the service and availability of cars has steadily declined. This season we decided to try Budget, and we are glad we did. The service we’ve received from Graham has been outstanding. He’s a one man show, running the office, answering phones, checking cars in and out, and even cleaning vehicles. The guy works extremely hard, he’s trying to build his business, and he cares about his customers. I couldn’t recommend Graham and Budget on Crestline more highly. He might be hard to reach on the phone but cut him some slack. He’s a great guy and he’ll go the extra mile to see that your needs are met.

This is the place I would send my friends and my family to. No waiting in long lines and you really feel that you’re THE client. I had a complex problem and it got solved in very creative and professional way. I left there as a very happy client! Thank you!

The guy that works there is very unprofessional, and an angry human. This company promised a refund and double charged my account. And won't even take a minute to figure out what went wrong. But I must say to the guy working the front desk, you need help.

Do not go here. They are holding the money even though we paid the total with another credit card. They are not releasing the money. They said it's been released but 2 weeks later and the money isn't back in my account. Basically paid double.

I had called ahead to get a quote on a vehicle to rent from the 17th and return it the morning of the 21st right when they open. I was given a quote of $448 plus the $200 for the deposit and that would make it $648 and I had signed the agreement for that amount. I go onto my bank account and was charged $848. First off I got charged for the 21st eventhough i returned the car right when they opened. There were 4 additional things added to my total that I did not agree to that made it $648 that DID NOT include the deposit. And I am still waiting to get my deposit back. I took pictures of the car when i picked it up and i took pictures right when i dropped it off. I got back into town late and still went to the car wash to make sure it was in the condition I recieved it in. Do not rent from this business, unless you plan on receiving the wrong quote to rent any of their vehicles. I will never come here again. I got overcharged!

Guy there is on his own and doing everything himself. He’s nice and trying hard but answering calls is non existent and arrived at desk with no one there- ie service is nice once you get it , if and when you get it. Car and rates were fine.

This is not for this location. I couldn't find a corporate one to add this review. Do not rent a car from Budget! I reserved a car that I just made yesterday less than 24 hours and even though it's 6 days till I pick up the car. Even though it's 6 days till I pick up the car. They will refund me everything but $50 that they get to keep. My grandma passed away and I decided to fly instead of driving 9 1/2 hours. I let the customer service rep know this. They said they could keep it until I travel again. I told them I wasn't on planning on going anywhere soon. They said they could cancel it for me and deduct the $50! AWEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Graham was awesome, totally saved our trip. I had reserved a rental from another Budget location and they called the morning-of, telling us they didn’t have a car. After calling this location, Graham was easily able to transfer our reservation to one of the cars he had available. In the end, everything worked out thanks to his excellent customer service!

I had to rent a car because my truck was in the shop. Graham was very accommodating and easy to work with. We rented several vehicles but the last one was a charger and we ended up buying one. Thanks for the great experience and we will be renting from this place in the future. Ben and Maria

Rented a car for the weekend to drive to Glenwood Springs and Ray gave me a great upgrade! The car was new, clean and he was super helpful, professional and courteous! Great experience!

I’ll never rent from this dump again. Your customer service is beyond terrible. Your charges are incorrect & trying to correct them has been a rough process. Save yourself the headache & don’t rent from this place.
