This place has a lot of people who will give you some of the stank faces, not employees but customers. The lady was lovely upfront and accomplished her best to help us through.

My husband and I were in this store last night about 15-20 minutes before closing and as soon as we walked in, this old lady behind the registers rudely wants to know if we’re together….. No “Hello, Welcome”…. Nothing like that!
My husband says to me, loud enough for the lady to hear: “What difference does that make and why is that any of her business?” We were just there to look at possible options for new bedroom furniture and mattresses. We left without buying anything, something she noticed right away, and again was quite rude about it, saying “What, you’re not buying anything, then why did you come into this store for?” Without looking at her, as we were walking out, my husband told her that he wasn’t going to buy anything from a rude associate. Apparently that annoyed her because she immediately shot back more of her attitude, asking him what he meant by that!?…. That woman seriously needs to be let go from her position as an employee at this Big Lots location. There’s just no excuse for treating customers the way she does.

This store is pretty well stocked and organized which is nice. However, the staff are extremely rude especially staff member named Kathy older lady with a horrible attitude and zero patience. Management should be made aware of her behavior and actions should be taken in her dismissal sooner than later. The way she speaks to customers alone is reason enough. This is disappointing as I really like this store and would’ve been a returning customer. Nobody should have to deal with horrible customer service and some grouchy old lady raising her voice and making it a toxic experience. Bummer?
