I love Bear Canyon! Every teacher we've had has been wonderful. Very experienced educators that are always looking out for the ALL the kiddos in their classrooms. Parents are warm and welcoming. In general, a fantastic educational experience.

About Bear Canyon Elementary School
Elementary School grades K-6 located in Highlands Ranch, CO within the Douglas County School District. Bear Canyon has served Highlands Ranch for more than 25 years. Our dedicated teachers continuously implement best practices to provide personalized learning that is meaningful, differentiated to provide academic rigor and relevance and to promote higher-level thinking. When students own their learning, they are engaged, challenged, and determined.
Bear Canyon is an Energy Bus (based on the book by Jon Gordon). We teach 7 Principles that reinforce students and staff alike to cultivate positive energy to overcome life's challenges. We encourage our school community to take the driver's seat of their lives and live with purpose.
