Don't use this company! They never told me my insurance was out of network and the test was not covered by insurance, just sent a bill after the test was complete. I called to try to discuss with the owner and she was very rude and unwilling to work with me on the bill, even after acknowledging it was their mistake I was never informed about my insurance. Ask your doctor to refer you to another company instead!

Great service and quick responses helped put my mind at ease about my tests.

Please don’t trust this company!! I got a call from Elaine 3 months ago to do my sleep apnea test that would be sent to me to do at home so I did it at home and sent the test back to them the very next morning and Elaine told me that they will be sending my test results in a week to my doctor well I had to wait 3 months to see my doctor and the day of my appointment my doctor never received anything from anyone for 3 months!!! My doctor wanted to find out what was going on so she wanted me to wait a week to get the results so I did and well it’s passed a week and they still haven’t received anything! So I called the number that Elaine called me from I still have the voicemail from her 3 months back her voicemail changed I called 4 times in one day left a voicemail and still haven’t received anything from them. This is so unprofessional I’m very disappointed they’re wasting people’s time I feel like my insurance company paid for something that was worthless if I wasn’t getting any of my results back. Please have your doctor refer you to a better company that communicates and that is professional!! I usually never leave any reviews for any company but I had to do it with this one.

First off, I have to say to the negative reviewers, as someone who did insurance authorizations for a clinic, it is actually supposed to be YOUR responsibility to check for insurance coverage, it says so on the little piece of paper that you signed when you first started seeing your doc that every provider I've ever been to has made people sign. Doctor offices and suppliers do it so that it cuts down on the headaches from people being upset because they had to wait on hold for 4 hours. Secondly, Aspen if often the second company that gets your referral when your doc prescribes it, especially with oxygen, as the docs don't have any clue that the oxygen companies are sending the prescription to Aspen because they don't provide the monitoring equipment. So there may be an assumption that since the oxygen company was in network, that the place they refer to you because the oxygen company doesn't provide monitoring equipment is as well. Again, that is supposed to be your responsibility to check, and having dealt with the three top oxygen companies in the Denver area, they were all horrid in terms of paperwork and authorizations before the pandemic. Thirdly, we are in the middle of a pandemic from a virus that causes respiratory illness. Think about what that means for respiratory care providers and give them a break. Your referral may be on hold as mine currently is by the oxygen provider who is overwhelmed, and so are the insurance companies and Medicare/Medicaid folks. The docs office and Aspen are overwhelmed as well. I have a friend still doing authorizations at UC Health, and it can take over 5 weeks to get an authorization BACK from Medicare, let alone a private insurance company. I called Aspen when I didn't hear from here, and Elaine said she hadn't yet gotten the referral, and when I said I'd contact that company, she said "good luck", and then offered to email the oxygen company for me, and I'll contact the docs office tomorrow to politely ask them to send it directly to Aspen. Fourthly, as someone whose oxygen levels have been all over the place, Elaine, who does the scheduling, has been incredibly thorough in contacting me each and every time I have a doc ordering a new test, which have been coming from multiple providers, to see if it's needed, or if it's a duplicate from another provider and she just needs to send them the last test. Before you complain she's not contacting you, please put their phone number in your contact list, as some folks are marking Aspen as spam callers, because they don't know why somewhere called Aspen is calling when they are expecting a call from Apria, Aerocare, or Lincare. I am in no way affiliated with this company, just someone whose had several tests ordered over the last year and a half, know what the process is like, and has had enough tests that I remember the name of who I'm dealing with Thank you Elaine, I really do appreciate your thoroughness!

I was referred to them by my doctor, their service was fast and efficient, and they were very helpful over the phone. We had some problems with insurance information but they ironed it all out within the day.

Be very careful with this business. 1. It took along time for me to receive a call. 2. They dropped off the monitor without getting it approved with my insurance company. When they got an approval it was out of my network so I requested that they pick up the device because I wasnt going to be billed $150 for an one say observation. I refused to use the device because I read paperwork with an invoice. I woke up early that morning to call their office to tell Denise to pick up the device because 5hey should have gotten an approval before bring it to my house 3. Denise's attitude was horrible and despitable. 4. She called me on the phone insisting that they was going to bill my insurance when I didn't take the test. Lastly, I attempted to tell her repeatedly its impossible to bill me or my private insurance because it would be Fraud. She hung up the phone on me.

Aspen medical monitoring have done services for my mother and father. They are always understanding and understand that they are older and don't always do things the way they are told. The staff there have been patient and reexplained to them how and when to do the testing. They even showed them in their home how the equipment works. We are thankful they can come to their home and are very understanding.

My first, and last experience with Aspen Medical Monitoring was a disaster, start-to-finish. I cannot and will not recommend the services of Aspen Medical Monitoring for multiple reasons: * They do not communicate well amongst themselves, with the Doctor, or with the patient. In my case, they did not do much of anything correctly. * They failed to adhere to the agreed delivery time set by myself and the receptionist, who assured me that it would take place after 3pm. I am a day-sleeper and my instructions concerning my sleep schedule were explicit. Getting awakened early in the morning by a doorbell and barking dog was an annoying experience at best. * No arrangements were made to pick up the equipment, but the following morning I was rudely awakened again by someone attempting to retrieve equipment that I had not had the opportunity to even use. Again, my sleep schedule had been explained to the receptionist, but obviously the information did not get to the rest of the staff at Aspen Medical Monitoring. * A few days after the original test was taken, I got a call from Aspen Medical Monitoring, admitting to me that they had not administered the test as my doctor had instructed, and that I needed to take the test yet again. * I was referred to Aspen Medical Monitoring as part of the procedure required by my health care plan, and months after the test was taken, United Healthcare declined the insurance claim because Aspen Medical Monitoring is NOT an in-network provider for my plan. As a result, I was billed for the entire test, was turned over to a collection agency, and now have a blemish on an otherwise perfect credit report. The bottom line is: Buyer beware! Do not use Aspen Medical Monitoring! Pick a different provider!

I was surprised to receive a bill for a medical test from Aspen Medical Monitoring, since I had not knowingly done business with them. When I called my insurance company to investigate, I was even more surprised to discover that my insurance company values the test at, and will pay, $26.77 to an in-network provider. But, Elaine of Aspen Medical Monitoring values the test at almost FIVE times that amount, at $125. Since I had already and unknowingly engaged in a business transaction at an extortionary rate, I have no legal recourse and must pay Elaine's exorbitant price. Be aware if your medical provider sends any of your tests to Aspen Medical Monitoring.
