After all of these complaints regarding Mike Thomas I cannot believe that he still has a position with Arapahoe Credit Union. He restricts access to your account so it makes it virtually impossible to pay for your car loan. He is rude and condescending. He calls your employer for a “payment reminder” and is even rude and pushy to the receptionist. When asked to not call your place of employer and only your cell regarding personal business he still conducts calls to your employer harassing the receptionist. I have never heard of a bank restricting access to an account even after the account is caught up. When asked if they will give back access the answer is “maybe, we will have to review your account”. As someone who works full time it is super hard for me to call within regular business hours. Mike Thomas either needs more training or for the VP of lending to actually take this employees actions into consideration as promised in a previous review response. When Mike tells you things need to be resolved today don’t expect to actually talk to him on the phone. He will just continue to call your employer or send you extremely vague but at the same time condescending emails. I know I’ll get hit with “we’re local and not for profit so we do not have a lot of resources” as a response to this review. This is pretty common knowledge for most individuals familiar with a credit union. Maybe if Arapahoe Credit Union would take action against Mike Thomas they could allocate more resources to the community.

ACU has been fantastic to work with in helping to navigate the unnecessarily complex situation in getting our roof paid through insurance to the roofing company. Their concern in how we got put in the middle of this battle between both companies, the thoughtful questions they asked to ensure we weren't being duped, and their clear and timely communication were greatly appreciated!

Without a doubt the worst Credit Union I’ve ever dealt with. I had an auto loan here and halfway through the loan they started charging me fees for not having insurance on the car even though I provided proof of insurance multiple times. I was told the fees would be refunded and they never were. I paid off the loan a couple months ago and never received my title. Come to find out they were still charging me interest on the loan that had been paid off months ago. They held my title for a $2.50 interest charge. I paid it and they said my title would be sent out. It never came. They still held my title for a $0.02 interest charge. Almost 3 months after I paid off my loan and they are still charging me interest and holding my title over pennies. I have multiple receipts showing my balance is $0 on the loan and they’re still charging me and holding my title while lying and saying it’s been sent out. Document everything when dealing with this horrible establishment and be ready to take it to a lawyer. Being charged interest on a loan that has been fully paid off, titles held for made up interest charges down to a single penny and being constantly lied to are what you’ll get if you use this place. Theft and lying seem to be their business model

Problem the worst credit unions I have ever worked with. They were charging me fees during my auto loan without calling me or emailing me. Especially after I moved saying they mailed me documents. I provided documents they requested which was proof of insurance. They said they would refund me which never happened. I have been now going back and forth with them then I checked again on my auto loan which I found out they were charging me fees again even though I ALREADY GAVE THEM the information for proof of insurance..3k in fees!

I’ve never encountered such disrespect from a bank before. Served 23 years in the military, own several companies and work with several banks who need my business. We reached out to Arapahoe to tend the needs of one of our soldiers. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with this bank while Mike Thomas is the manager of any department. Either he needs to be sent to people skills school or let go, as he will only make the credit Union lose customers. He made it very clear that he was incapable of doing his job in support of our efforts to avoid further financial distress to military members.

This institution is ridiculous. Their app never works as it is supposed to. you need 2 different passwords to access things. it is to complicated. Tried to make a electronic deposit with a check from my regular bank, scanned it 4 times and it never did deposit it. I just kept getting a "Oops something went wrong." finally gave up. When you do call, no one can give you a straight answer. It doesn't seem that they talk to one another nor take the proper notes on your account. One day I spoke with 4 different representatives and received 4 different answers for the same problem. Very frustrating to say the least. I would not ever send anyone to them for anything. I will be refinancing my vehicle as soon as possible. The hassle is just not worth it.

My two children(8 and 5) and I, came in to open the kids' very first bank accounts. Cindy Smith was seriously incredible. We could not have asked for a more friendly, accommodating and fun associate to work with. She engaged with my kids in a way that made it fun and made them feel special. Even though the process took a little while(my 5 year old is not a ‘sit still’ kind of kid), she helped my kids handle the waiting by giving them coloring books, and asking them about themselves. She even ‘made it a big deal’ when she gave them their membership cards. She walked us through the process very thoroughly and my kids were so excited. She is fantastic with kids. She truly made our day. I have never had such great customer service at any other bank. Thank you Cindy for the care you gave us. We will stop by soon with some items for the humane society drive and say hello!

Mr Scott rose was so kind to make me coffee while working out the details of cashiers because he notice I was sleepy. That's genuine and too kind, all of the staff of this establishment are very personable, provide great hospitality and great for conversations.
