I was very disappointed. The person "greeting" me was difficult to communicate with and then a little to friendly. I kept asking about the bathroom code (I had been driving for several hours) and he thought it was cute to banter with me and not tell me the code. He seemed to want to hang out and chat. The site was far to small and full of mud and puddles. The lack of locking doors on the toilets at the bathhouse was unacceptable. I did not feel safe there and left immediately.

Overcrowded and very unattractive rv park. Appears that .most customers are permanent residents. I'd stay away from bathrooms.I should have boondocked or stayed at a hotel.

The location of this site is truly the best feature. It's a 1/2 block off main street on the south side - close to 2 Mile Brewing. We found it by chance as we had something else booked 17 miles outside of town. We felt lucky to find this and booked right away. We arrived around 2pm and like many areas in Leadville, it was a gravel and uneven driveway. No problem though - we parked by what we thought was an office based on all the signs and after knocking and waiting around, a man yelled "can I help you?" and I said "we're here to check in" and he said "for what?" - ! Turns out he was the manager I guess? still don't know but he confirmed our reservation and walked us down to site #27. Like others have said, the sites are all very close but that's what I expect when booking an "RV Park". the neighbors seemed full time, which was fine. They were all quiet and hats off to the guy smoking his brisket at 3am. The hook ups worked fine and the wifi was good. The big issue I had was the restroom/showers and laundry all had door codes and Mr Can I Help You never mentioned what the codes were. I called every number I could find, left many messages, went to the office and left a message per the instructions on the Ring doorbell but never heard a word back. The next day, we finally found this guy again and he told us the codes. I was angry about the time it took and mostly the inconvenience of not being able to use the services we paid for - and very much needed after being on the road awhile. Their response time is zero, so if you have a problem don't expect it to be resolved.

Very nice place. Super convenient. You aren't camping in the woods, but the views are awesome.2018 update: Here again for the eight time. Love the place. It's under new ownership and Ryan is the caretaker. Reservations are more organized and things seem to be improving.2022 update: it's mostly tiny houses now. Camping is probably coming to an end soon.

Trashy. Tight sites. We had the choice of either opening two slides on the same side of the rv OR using the door. We chose the door & one slide. Glad it is a PassPort America place & we only have to be here 3 days...no refunds. The drive up wasn't great either. If you have a big rig go somewhere else!

I had the absolute best time in Leadville, Co. Instead of a hotel we decided to stay at the R.V. Corral in a tiny house. It was perfect for our little family. With so many things to do outdoors I'm Leadville. It was nice to be able to come back and have a nice hot shower, prepare our own food, and a choice of places to sleep in the home. They are bigger than they look. The patio was nice for my morning coffee, and the peace and quite of the downtown location was unreal. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by, but a little place of your own when you just need a little privacy. I will definantly visit the R.V. Corral again to stay at one of their other tiny homes. They have quite a few to choose from. All designed just a bit differently from the last. It is a vacation that is incredibly affordable and one you won't soon forget.

I reserved a spot sight unseen for $45. Got there and did not feel safe. It was a dumpy, trashy looking place with some tiny houses that looked fine but the other campers looked like they were permanent. You were cheek to jowl and the bathroom wasn't great. Even though I'd paid, I didn't stay and got a hotel room. Cannot recommend. Everything about it screamed "run down".

I think about my tiny home vacay every single day and can't wait to return. It was perfect. The Dragonfly tiny was so neat and bright. The pet-friendly units are a huge plus. The staff is so helpful and Leadville is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy amazing views.

It's a place to park for a night or two. If you are looking for a scenic campground this is not it. Tiny houses look fun to stay in. Many long time residents are here. Good location right in downtown. Park the giant RV for a while and walk around town, go to the mining museum, get some local food. Check-in was a little awkward, ok to just leave for checkout. Glad the RV is a home away from home, made staying here more tolerable. I'd liken it to a Motel 6 that you stay at because you're tired or on a budget.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and did not feel comfortable staying here at all. I locked my camper doors at night which is something I’ve never had to do before. The place needs lots of cleanup and care. The bathroom was clean but the hot water only part a short time . I feel as if the “ monthly renters and /or people who live there on a regular basis should be separate from the temporary campers. It’s a great location and has lots a potential to be a great rv park. Oh yea , The man at the office was rude and very unprofessional !Loved Leadville and my time spent there and hiking.

We were there in June. Lots to do nearby and right in town. Went riding down by Turquoise Lake in a tshirt on Monday and encountered a snow blizzard during a razor ride up to the old mines on Tuesday. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to the main Street in town. All amenities were there. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dishes etc. Booking was easy and the owners were very helpful!

Coin operated shower did not have hot water. I paid $3.50 for an ice cold shower. The camp is run down and mostly full time residents who were friendly. The manager comes off as unfriendly. If you want any service at all you should go somewhere else.

We stayed here about 6 months in our 42ft 5th wheel. The location of the park is great! Joe and Meagan we super nice and helpful. We have seen many improvements done since we have been here. The only reason I'm not rating 5 starts is that the spaces are a bit tight but that's expected with a park planned when rigs where much smaller!

This park is mostly full time trailers. No maintenance. We saw what appeared to be a manager when we went to let them know we had arrived. Not friendly nor helpful. You pay in full when you make a reservation. We were in a 36 ft motorhome. Difficult getting in spot. Seem to be converting to mostly tiny houses. We left a day early. We will not go back there.
