Amazing bike shop with some of the most helpful bike enthusiasts and mechanics in Leadville! I ordered a new specialized chisel mountain bike and Rafa and his crew assembled the bike, made a few upgrades to it for me, and got me all set up to get out and ride by the time I left. This is the second bike my wife and I have bought from this shop, and we will be back!

Can't thank Rafa enough! I needed a bike packed and shipped from CO to the east coast in a tight timeline for my trip to Colombia. Not only did he stay on top of keeping me up to date with constant communications, he also packed this thing like an absolute NINJA! Seriously, I'm OCD but this is another level of quality and care! Top notch all around. Rafa is your man for packing and shipping! THANK YOU!

Visiting Leadville for the weekend. Wanted to stop at a shop and talk about local trails but these guys had 2 things no bike shop should have posted on their window. Politics and anger. A really vulgar sign posted so kids could read it. Not very family friendly. Maybe I will avoid Leadville next summer.

Such an outstanding bike shop! Rafael was awesome, and went out of his way to rent me a fat bike for the race, on race day! If you are in Leadville this is a must stop bike shop. Outstanding selection, great service and amazing people!

Won’t do business here because I don’t agree with the displays at their store. Obscene language and political views. I just don’t understand why a business chooses to involve politics with their business.

Rude and inattentive staff. They were too busy to be concerned with customers.

I try to be even-keeled for reviews but I gave this bike shop every opportunity and they blew it.1) Told that the bike would be ready Tue/Wed2) Changed to Wed/Thu3) No one calls me all day Thursday so I call, they first tell me it'll be done today, then, by way of me calling a second time, they changed the finish appt to Friday at 124) Friday at noon it's obvious that no one has touched my bike until 11:30 . . . 'we'll call you when it's ready, should be a few hours'. I called at 6pm and they said it wont be ready until later.5) I pick up my bike 3 days after the initial appt was set . . . . While picking up my bike the first time the owner of the shop deliberately put my handlebars on in a way that I specifically said I did not want. The owner of the shop did not call me to discuss an extra part that he automatically put on my bike without my asking. Owner charged me for two bottles of Stan's even though I specifically said and gave him my own two bottles. Owner put the bar tape on to 80% accuracy of what I asked for. Upon pick up, the owner was not there, I had remaining questions, the staff said he'll be back later and will give you a call, no such call ever took place. 100% the worst bicycle shop experience I've ever had.Zero awareness for accurate timeliness of workZero calls to keep me informedDidn't use the Stans I provided and charged me for the shop'sDidn't put padded tape where i specifically marked where I wanted it and that entire section of the handlebar tape is now useless3 days of tardiness and "it'll be done soon"I have never seen such gross negligence for my time from any bike shop. From the first day I turned it in, I said "I"m waiting for these repairs to continue on with a bike trip." And I just sat around, waiting, for 5 days, for incorrect work and three days of no calls, no updates, no keeping me informed, just delays that I had to find out about myself.Suggestions for the shop:- Customers need to be contacted before their bike is not going to be ready-Accurate assessments for completion time are critical to bike shop success-Never have one staff member say "It'll be ready today" and when I come in to pick it up the NEXT day at noon, it's barely been worked on.- Listen more carefully to the directions of your customers, it's not okay to charge me for Stans when i gave your four tubes of it.-Listen and execute the customer's requests, don't put handlebars on the way you think they should go, I gave explicit instructions.- COMMUNICATE, use the phone, text customers, keep them informed, ask questions, anything other than the way communication was done with me, would be acceptable.I sincerely dislike writing reviews like this. The staff was friendly and helped me several times with borrowing tools but the total outcome of this experience is a one-star review simply based on tardiness, incomplete work order, cost me three days of sitting around and waiting (which the staff knew about) and lastly, after I expressed concern about paying the full cost, the owner never even bothered to call and speak to me.People deserve to know when people have been screwed over by a certain business . . . . Good luck Bicasa, I hope you get things turned around.

Rafa goes out of his way to make a positive cycling experience for everyone passing through Leadville! My group stopped in yesterday while biking the copper triangle route because the electric shifters had died on my friend's bike. Rafa made us his top priority, suggested the best place in town for burritos, and took the bike in while we were at lunch. He quickly fixed the issue and re-wrapped my bar tape for a very very fair price. My friend would have had to quit the ride if not for Rafa and the team at Bicicasa. Muchas gracias!

This shop is the best I've ever been to, who would have thought you'd find it in Leadville? The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Even better, they have a HUGE selection of bike packing bags. And the rest of their gear and components are high quality and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks guys!
