I really like my post office and the staff but parking when checking mail has become a hassle when the swing station bar patrons use the parking area not one spot left except for handicap.

I really enjoy the two customer service workers who usually man the counter, but that postmistress is a horrible person! Despite having no signs posted ANYWHERE, she tried to make me leave my service animal tied up outside, and demanded to see paperwork for my service animal, and asked me what my disability is. She claimed to be part of the ADA, but if that was true, she’d know it’s illegal to ask a disabled person for proof or documentation of any kind. This postmistress has not only been hostile and aggressive toward me, but I’ve witnessed her raise her voice and argue with numerous customers over the past couple of years. If you need to mail something, try to do it when she’s not around!

Everyone here is so nice and friendly!! Never a wait in the mornings (unless it’s a holiday week), lots of positive energy and everyone is happy to help you out. I’ve never enjoyed going to the post office, but I actually enjoy going to this one!

All the people posting one stars and whining about "how it's their job" ( to go 2 miles- you can do the same-its a small town) and that they're "public servants (maybe think about how it feels to be called a servant?)... I want you to spend ONE day with them and see how efficient you can be! Online shopping and delivery, not to mention COVID has stretched everyone delivering mail and packages to you (for your convenience) so thin. Do their job once. I've never worked for any postal or delivery service, but I'm appalled at these comments. Have some decency! It goes a long way! Shame on all of you!

The postmaster at this post office is a terrible. She raises her voice, argues with people, doesn't listen and is very rude and disrespectful. It's a shame that our postal service has come to this, and that our public servants can act so unbelievably disrespectful to their customers.

They have either lost or delivered to the wrong adress every single time I've had a package sent to me. I've spoke with staff twice and still they can't seem to figure it out, Its not that hard if I can get food delivered here you would think the post office could deliver a package....it's a few blocks away.

Worst employees ever!! Parents moved to Laporte back in 1989 and because they do not deliver mail to the house they have had the same free po box since. Parents passed and received bill for the po box. Went to talk to the post office and was told by an employee that they pay every year, didn't look it up or anything, just spilled off the top of her head. Don't like being called names then do the job!!
