“I will start off by saying, I am a faithful customer of JJ’s (Country) Corner. As I only live next door I frequent the Gas Station / Convenience Store, the CarWash & the Wood Fire Pizza place quite often, going on 5.5yrs now. However, this review is in no way towards, against or a reflection of neither the owner of nor any of the above mentioned bzness of JJ’s Corner. Plz know this review is solely pertaining to the JJ’s Liquor Store / employee, whose name idk bc he didn’t have name badge & he refused to gimme his name. When asked to speak to mgr he stated he WAS mgmt. I will admit I’ve only stepped foot in the Liq’ 3x. Which was 3x too many deal with that kinda service. All 3x this man is leaned up behind the register having full visual of customers entering. Yet never once has he ever greeted myself or anyone walking in,the times I was there. His whole demeanor is very unwelcoming and extremely unfriendly. He instantly comes off as if he’s annoyed to be there or just irritated by seeing customers. Again this just speaking from my experiences there. The man deliberately refuses to acknowledge ppl giving no eye contact, no “hi,bye, kiss my ash” nothing. Sounds petty but anyone in retail or customer svc knows it starts with a greeting. Now we’ve greeted him and he either flat out ignore us make me repeat myself jus for him to either nod & roll his eyes, shrug his shoulders with the look of disgust on his face or jus say “ya k” and look away. Moving on 1x i was there w/ my sister who owns her own liquor store in KCMO came to visit was looking for particular brand of Tequila as well as some other specific items that we were unable to find. When trying ask the Emp he was very unhelpful. Very short replies “yes, no, idk”. Literally the most we got from him was “yeah idk, just what you see is what we got. Idk what else say if you don’t see it we don’t got it.” Shoulder shrug back to looking at his phone. Also while we were there another couple came in looking for their choice of poison, to which my sister had help them find. Bc again the emp made no attempt to even hear them out. He basically cut them off w/ pretty much same response he gave us. What you see what you get, basically. 2nd time wasn’t any better far as svc went. We all did less talking than the 1st & that was already bare minimum. 3rd & final straw. I by myself. Went in said hello was ignored. This time I really wasn’t sure what I was looking for, exactly. I’m not much of drinker just wanted lil something on the sweet / fruity side give a good kick. I FaceTime my sister so she could help me. As we’re talking the Emp begins noticeably making unnecessary grunting noises huffing & puffing like he’s agitated with me or my conversation idk. In walks 2 couples laughing having great time happy walking in. The ladies say hi, he says nothing. 1st lady says “Helllooo” again but lil louder this time, the emp looked up says “yeah ?” She replied “ it wasn’t a question. Just didn’t know if you seen Us coming in, your eyes on your phone didn’t greet us or answer when we said hi.” She was nice about it even smiled and giggled bit. No apology or nothing he just blankly stared & gave nod. I quickly grab a margarita & daiquiri frozen pouch drinks & approach the register w/ my Sis still in FaceTime overhearing everything. She says “oh, wow. Pretty bad when customers gotta call you out on your poor svc”. Emp hears her & says “guess good thing I don’t work for you huh”. So now my sis asks what drinks I decided on. Before I could answer her. Emp says “got some pretty gay sh*t” I asked if he had suggestions he replied “Sh*t, I’m not the one drinking” I left before I could react. But just so yk who not to do bznes w/. He’s rude as hell #1. Lil scruffy guy w/ brwn hair glasses prob btwn 5’7-5’9”, abt 150-175#s
Other than that 1 bad seed. Everybody else working for / at any part of JJs are really nice friendly ppl always gives awesome svc. & I appreciate all y’all there & highly recommend JJ’s corner, car wash, & wood fire pizza”

“Awesome little sore you fill up on gas, or to pick up a little snack, or even a hot coffee for these freezing mornings we're having lately great and friendly staff ?!!!”

We were travelling and needed to get gas so I am very appreciative of this station being opened. I also thought the price of gas was very reasonable here.”

The coffee i wanted was empty, so the employee came right over and refilled the French vanilla cappuccino while also using the opportunity to train a new employee on how to do it. Very friendly and eager to help. All 3 of the employees were absolutely amazing and what I love seeing when I stop at 711.”
“The car wash is a touchlesa car wash. It's a older style but it did clean my van. I didn't see a timer on the dryer on the way out but I wasn't going to take my time not knowing if the door to the outside was going to close down on my van or not. $13.00 for the best wash, other places charge $12.00 for their best washea.”
“Love this convenience store!! Best customer service I have ever recieved, everyone there is my bestie (especially Ty) me and my head of security always go there for our cigs, drinks and snacks before every gig. ❤️ bless up Sandy’s!”
“Where else can you purchase gasoline, liquor, and world class pizza? Hint: nowhere. If you've never stopped here, it would be a good idea to visit. A huge variety of pizza that are ordered at the counter and delivered to your table. There is also a sit down bar. Definitely a local favorite.”
“Great place. I live in the neighborhood and walk up here frequently. Staff is friendly and courteous and there is even a popular takeout place located inside. it is also kept nice and clean and I see the staff regularly doing their cleanup procedures.”

She was friendly and so pleasant to deal with.Loved the sandwiches....great breakfast sandwich and pretty awesome pork sando.Even has the 7/11 hot dog roller thingy with some pretty awesome sausages....the one with maple syrup inside is pretty bomb diggity.Another Loaf and Jug to love”

I needed a snack, soda, and restroom on my way to Laramie, Wyoming. It was clean inside. They had plenty of food snacks to choose from. There is also a McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco John's nearby.”

Just the dude working today (Suan) needs to slow down and make time to scan apps and such that give his customers discounts on fuel and such! I wasn't able to use the fuel discount I had cause he didn't want to slow his roll and scan my phone he just rushed me through and the store was dead ( hardly 4 people in the store at the time)!”

430 Remington St, Fort Collins“These guys are always awesome! I love the pizza from 7-11. I am excited to earn enough points to get a free pizza. 4000 points I think it is. The iced coffee is delicious also. I do have one issue... These employees have Way too much responsibility put on their shoulders. I see a lot of times only one employee in the store stocking, ringing customers up, cleaning, making fresh hot food, misc. customer issues, watching for security issues, and now. . THEY HAVE TO DO THE MOBILE SHOPPING TOO??? That's a lot for one person. I think they all need raises.”

3038 S College Ave, Fort Collins“Their prices are pretty decent generally the lowest in town. They've upgraded a great deal and more convenience type establishment having more products that the community the people want. And right now prices I just about equal everywhere except for gas because of inflation that's going on. People won't be able to drive if gas keeps going up too much more. However I usually come to Valero gas stations the customer service is pretty darn good they're friendly generally and like I said the prices are just about it the same everywhere however I do find Valero has some items that you can't get at other convenience / gas stations. I just wish their hours were later you know 11:00 12:00 something like that. And for the most part every one of them I've been to have restrooms that the public can use they have hot foods a lot of them have hot dogs and pizza slices,,coffee, cold drinks, cigarettes, lottery Tix etc. such like I said. Come and check them out.”
“Always the best experience whenever I go here. The owners are the amazing and it’s great supporting local! It’s by far the best customer service for a convenience store in town!”
“Vamsi Is an amazing employee, I walked in there a little nervous honestly and he answered all my questions. He gave me a greater understanding on what I was buying. All I’m saying he was very nice.”
