Just a quick update- I told you that this would not end up well. The owner should have taken my advice over a year ago. I did make a few additional visits, and there was no change in the service level. Sid, i'm glad you can now go enjoy your hobby at home. BTW, I purchased 3 of the original gold pan RC10 cars from the early 80s. You can bet that I didn't buy them here.PREVIOUS POST TO OWNERUnfortunately, this place is a bust. I went in looking to spend money on my favorite hobby. I walked over to the track side, and the owner looked at me and put his head back down, ignoring me. No greeting or attempt to talk about his business or product. I walked to the other side and a girl was on her phone so I didn't waste any time with her. I then saw what I wanted in the back of the store... A gold pan RC10. I was so excited and couldn't wait to ask, "How much?". Not that it mattered because this was the one I was taking home with me today! WRONG! "NOT FORSALE," said the clerk behind the counter. I was so bummed. I then saw a used Slash vxl with a few upgrades. After several minutes of waiting for a price, the owner looks at it and tells the clerk $600. Sid your way over priced on used RC cars or at least the one I inquired about. A couple of suggestions : Don't display what you are not willing to sell. Any used item should have a list of upgrades to help your customers understand your higher prices, or your clerks should be knowledgeable of each product so they can explain features and benefits. Not every customer is going to make a purchase on their first visit, especially those new to the hobby. Treat everyone as your best customer. Spend time getting to know your customers and build your brand. Sid, it is important that you add your personal touch to each footstep that walks through the door. I recommend stay away from this store. I believe it was maybe the owner but waited for me and my family at the entrance to accuse me of steeling an item when all we did was go in and take a look. After he saw that I did not take anything he tried to play it off saying the item I had taken was placed in a wrong spot and wanted to move it to the correct one. By all means stay away take your time and money to another toy store.

I don't normally write reviews, but the older man working there is a bully and should not be working with customers, let alone children. I went in with my daughter to do some Christmas shopping. My daughter quietly played with the demo toys while I looked around. Abruptly, he says that there is a 20 minute time limit with the demo toys (no signs anywhere) and tells us to leave. I should mention that we received no greeting or assistance, as he was on a cell phone call the entire time we were in the store. When we didn't leave the store fast enough for his taste, he turned the store lights off on us. Any gifts I was planning on purchasing will be purchased elsewhere. I will also be warning other parents/families away from this store.

Lost the customer today. I have been buying my children's toys for the past couple of yearsThe manager approached me as I was showing some toys to my six month old son. He was hugging one and dropped it on the floor when the manager approached me and said that I needed to buy the toy and respect his merchandise or leave.

The young woman working the evening we were there birthday shopping with our grandchild was so nice, fun, and helpful. We were looking for a specific request - Dexter Dragon, by Jellycat - and we happily left with him. Fun store for kids.

Drove down there in the middle of the week and they had a sign " be back in 10 minutes". I waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up. As far as I know nobody ever came back. I called the rest of the day and nothing.....
