The best place to go in the Denver area for bargain/discount wedding dresses! I had a great session here and found a really unique champagne-colored dress with tons of beaded detail, and the perfect veil to go with it. It was really a statement dress and I got so many compliments! I'm amazed I found something like this on a <$1k budget. Tons of variety here, go try it before paying full price at a boutique!

What a great experience! The selection was incredible. Staff was very helpful but not at all pushy. My daughter left with the dress of her dreams and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this store!

I had the best experience at the Altar! I appreciate how approachable the process was here - I felt very heard and seen and beautiful the whole time. It still feels too good to be true that I got my dream dress within my budget… and even had fun doing it! Staff were not pushy at all and gave me the thoughtful knowledge and support, but also the time and space for me to arrive wholeheartedly at my decision. Run don’t walk down the aisle to The Altar. You won’t regret it!

This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve been other places and left disappointed but this experience was totally different. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to buy anything and the staff was super helpful! I totally felt like a princess and they listened to everything I was saying! 10/10 recommend to all brides looking to find their dream dress at a reasonable price!

I had the absolutely most amazing time here! Tiffany was incredible! So knowledgable and encouraging with every dress I tried on. She asked questions to make sure I found the right dress. I never felt like I was being forced to buy a dress or I had to find the right one that day, everything was very relaxed. It truly was a beautiful experience and I FOUND MY DRESS and got to take it home same day!! I got a beautiful dress for under $2000, and later found out the dress at anther shop would have cost over $4500! I cannot recommend this place enough!!! We had the entire store to ourselves with a weekday appointment and felt so relaxed when trying on dresses. If you haven't booked your appointment, do it now!!

Beware of the Altar Bridal! I painfully regret purchasing my wedding gown here. This was my first time purchasing a wedding dress and I really wish I had done more research or gone to other establishments before going here. My hope was that I would be able to find a dress I loved while saving some money and choosing a more 'environmentally friendly' option from a consignment shop. To start, there is a $35 fee to shop here, which is very unusual, and in my opinion a scam for them to squeeze more money out of you now that I have gone here.
The biggest regret for me was that I trusted them when they told me the dress I tried on that was TOO BIG would be easily and affordably altered by their alterations partner, Gabriella. I had never had anything altered before, let alone a wedding dress, and these people definitely prey on first-time brides that do not have this knowledge beforehand. When I tried on the dress that I ended up purchasing (now regretfully) it initially looked nice and I felt comfortable with the garment clamps that they placed. They told me I could take the dress home that day and gave me the card for their alterations partner, Gabriella. I let them know I had never had anything altered before, that I wanted to keep the costs low, and inquired about the estimated cost to alter the dress, given all the garment clamps that were placed to make the dress fit. I was assured that it would be affordable and straightforward. My experience was the exact opposite. The quoted cost of the alterations from their partner Gabriella, who by the way is located across town, was almost $1000. You do not find out this information until after you purchase the dress and of course they do not accept returns! I was in absolute shock and full of regret. The alteration process extremely time consuming and stressful, requiring multiple visits and I went way over on my dress budget. I see now that the Altar Bridal shop does not have alterations onsite for a reason - they would never sell any dresses!
I read through the reviews posted on google and yelp before I initially went to the Altar Bridal. There are plenty of positive experiences, which gave me a false sense of trust. I am writing this review so future brides do not make the same mistake I did.

My best friend bought a BEAUTIFUL wedding dress here BUT the dress was way too big and the sales people here told her it would be fine and the alterations would be possible. We are at the tailor now and the tailor is worried that the dress is so big that she will have to rework the whole thing potentially losing details of dress she bought in order for it to fit. The alterations are now going to take many iterations and she will be paying as much as she paid for the dress in alterations. Reach out to a tailor before buying big here or go somewhere else.

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience here. Victoria was so lovely and accommodating, and an absolute joy to work with. My daughter found a beautiful and perfect dress - unlike any other we'd seen anywhere else. I also appreciated how straightforward Victoria was with us - no games. That's unusual in an industry that almost always makes you feel like you're being played - not so here. I HIGHLY recommend The Altar Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress. Outstanding experience all the way around.

The sales person convinced me their alterations contact, Gabriela Couture, could take a size 14 to a 10. Not only were the alterations bad, but she also put my dress in a dirty bag.
