Mike and his team were amazing to work with. My Crosstrek got hit so I had to take it in for an inspection and get everything sorted with my insurance. Everyone at Subamotive was very respectful and patient with the process and I would definitely come here again in the future for my car’s needs!

Friendly, professional & knowledgeable Subaru experts! They were able to get our car in on short notice. Did a great job explaining what repairs were needed. Best customer service in town. I wouldn't take my Subaru anywhere else.

I came in a few months ago for a head gasket repair. Upon completion of the job, I pulled out of the lot only to find that my car was still overheating within 15 minutes of driving. Owner said the did all the appropriate pressure tests and what not. However, my radiator burst. I asked myself what kind test/test drive doesn’t indicate that there’s something wrong with the radiator if it fails within a short period of time. I took the car back as I should, because of the warranty on the work done. After a bit of an argument, I decided not to go further with any more fixes after spending over $7000. I Decided to take it home and fix the radiator myself. As far as the warranty, I feel like it’s just used as a was to make you feel safe. The price starts out lower and then they tell you all this other stuff that needs to be done, when they already have your engine in pieces. If you don’t spend all the extra money it voids the warranty(a little predatory if you ask me).So, I took the radiator out and found that it was completely clogged(posted some pics). How was something like this overlooked. I originally came in for an overheating issue and I would think this would be the first thing to check. I was appalled. I question whether I even needed the heads done. The point I’m making is that I really don’t think they are very thorough with their inspections, and seem to default on the worst case scenario(on the first phone call they told me it will most likely be a head gaskets issue before even looking at it, this most expensive). For something wildly expensive I just want people to do a better job. In the end I have new heads, but the question remains…. Not thorough, bad communication, predatory tactics, warranty is not worth it, puts the customer at risk of re-damaging vehicle, not worth the price.

They are real car guys and Subaru thru and thru. I think they are honest. I think there willing. I think they are able. They did my brakes, belt and tightened up some stuff. I was surprised how well it ran.

Excellent service and attention to detail. Michael was immediately helpful and listened to my concerns when I called about my Outback. Even though their day was fully booked, he and service tech, Jeremy were unbelievably helpful in diagnosing the check-engine problem (spark plugs). They found a way to squeeze me in so that I could finish a long road trip safely. Jeremy took on a huge, time consuming task and my 2014 Outback purred all the way back to Minnesota. I had Jordan and his shop at Subamotive replace my brakes . They also recommenda few additional services which you can decline or have them service as well. I had them do my front /rear differential fluid as well as transmission sense I was at 76k . The whole process was easy, they communicate via text if you prefer and were super professional throughout the whole process. Mike who works the front gave me his honest opinion of what was most important to get done which I appreciated as well! Thanks again guys, finally found a reliable/dependable subaru shop and I will be back!!

Jordan Charged my girlfriend over 6k for engine rebuild , only lasted 5k miles then rod knock that left her stranded. Didn’t honor warranty. Stay away from this rip off

I took my car in for transmission repair on April 27. As of today, June 14, the car is still having the same issues. The day after they 'completed' the repairs, the car was still making the same noises. Subamotive became much less responsive when I had trouble with their repair. After spending thousands with them, they conveniently couldn't hear any of the very loud noises that I was hearing. I went to two additional mechanics and paid for them to review Subamotive's work. Both mechanics heard the noises very clearly, and said that Subamotive was responsible for fixing the issue under the warranty I was given. I have never been this disappointed about any services I've received related to my vehicle. Despite the response from the owner here, he also reached out to me privately and threatened to sue me for defamation if I refused to take down this review. I am extremely disappointed in this response and the lack of accountability or professionalism that has been shown in response to my issues, and I will no longer be taking my business to this establishment. He was not there when I took the car in for service.Service: Transmission

SubaMotive replaced the head gaskets & Recharged the Air conditioning system on my Subaru Forester. They did an awesome job, very honest, friendly upfront service. We were able to save a few hundred dollars in the process! Highly recommended.
