The pharmacy is terrible here. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and was told they didn't have my son's prescription despite being told yesterday that the prescription would be ready this afternoon at 11am. I was placed on hold for another 10 minutes before I decided to hang up. My husband went to the pharmacy to try and get the prescription filled and dealt with a very rude woman at the front who ultimately told him it wouldn't be ready until at least 30 minutes. We were told that they do in fact have the prescription but forgot to fill it and we were given the run around because some of the staff doesn't know how to work their system. I don't feel heard or valued as a customer here. The staff is unapologetic and rude to customers.

Absolutely horrible pharmacy service. Every month I have to manually request refills and have autofill and phone & text notifications turned on. Every time the tech tells me they've been reinstated, and every month I have to do the same dance. This time they sent the notification, but an hour later I get a voicemail saying it's been ready for OVER a week, and it's only been filled for 2 weeks when it's supposed to me a 1 month supply. Absolute dogshit service.

Worst pharmacy ever! I’ll get notifications that my order is ready for pick up when that is NOT true. Always have a problem here with getting my prescription. Drive thru is never open making it very inconvenient. Closed whenever they feel like it. Total waste of time and pharmacists are incredibly rude.

A loved one, who is home bound, sent a refill on a prescription 6 days early. This is a medication that must be taken daily or it means an emergency room visit. He received a message saying that an approval was needed. He tried to call from Wednesday to Friday (the day it was due) and waited on hold for over three hours total. They never answered. There was no approval required. I called the doctor who tried to call the pharmacy with the same result of being put on eternal hold. When I personally went there I was met with nothing but smug indifference. They explained that they only had one pharmacy aide so they weren't answering the phone. They would do nothing about the approval because that was what their insurance department said. Their reaction to him probably ending up in emergency was a blank stare.In addition, I had a simple prescription take over 2 weeks to fill because they failed to order it twice. Their drive through has been closed for weeks so that anyone who is ill or contagious must come inside to pick up a prescription.NEVER USE WALGREENS PHARMACY!

I've waited for over a month for a refill on one prescription and my others that are in stock have been in process for over two weeks. Called multiple times and waited on hold only for the system to time out and hangup on me. I finally spoke with somebody who was friendly, but they basically said find a different pharmacy. The website or automated call system isn't helpful with providing information on delays or process times.

Called the pharmacy and waited on hold for 30 minutes. When 7 o'clock rolled around the pharmacy closed and they never bothered answering my call. This was after I tried to call earlier in the day and got no response after waiting for almost an hour. Impossible to speak to anyone.

I have been coming to this store since I was 2. It has been named many different things in between. The worst thing it's been called is WALGREENS!!! These people understaff, do not answer their phones, hang up on you and don't fill your prescriptions. It's ridiculous!

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. Drive to any other location, don’t bother with this one. You’ll never get a call back and you’ll be waiting in the drivethru (which isn’t nearly long enough, you end up blocking traffic) for a very long time. This location just needs to close or be under new management. Just terrible!

They are now making people use the drive through and refusing to assist people in the store. If anything is closed it should be the drive through. If there is actually a “staffing issue” then Walgreens needs to hire more people and pay them better in order to keep them.

Pharmacy is a joke! What an unorganized mess of a place! The store itself is not terrible, but they need to just shut the pharmacy down completely and I mean ASAP! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER get your prescriptions sent here! You WILL regret it!

Pharmacy is very painful to work with. They close at odd times for odd reasons. I just moved to this pharmacy but will now be taking my business elsewhere due to how long it takes to get meds filled here.

Pharmacy staff are SO unkind and unhelpful. Passed me off to 3 different people and then hung up on me. Takes a lot for me to feel the need to write a review. No professional establishment should be allowed to treat customers so awful, especially when they’re trying to get urgent medications!

I suggest taking your business elsewhere. This pharmacy used to be fine (especially compared to how HILARIOUSLY incompetent the Alameda pharmacy is), but the past few months it has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with them. In the past week, I've called maybe 10 times--I've chosen to sit on hold and wait 4 of those times, and every single time, I've eventually been disconnected from the call after waiting for over an hour. So, today I take time off work and go in to the store to see if someone can answer my question, and there are FIVE people behind the pharmacy counter. If Walgreens hopes to retain its customer base, it's going to need to make some changes. AND a good start would be removing that garbage "We're sorry to keep you waiting, a member of our staff will be with you shortly" message that plays EVERY TWENTY SECONDS when you're on hold.

BUYER BEWARE!!!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!I just called this pharmacy and was fourth in the que when I asked via the automated system to speak to the pharmacist.EXACTLY two hours later the system disconnected my call.This store and the Belmar store have to be the worst stores in Denver right now.Rude and dismissive employees.They resent it when you ask for patient education.Long, long holds on the phone when calling.They dispensed me a new Diabetes medication without letting me know it was an injection pen and that it needed to be refrigerated.Then they copped an attitude with me when I demanded that they replace it.It was a medication that cost well over $700.00 - one would think they would be more conscientious about educating me on how to care for a new medication that was that expensive.I called their District Manager and he was nice - but stated to me that he didn't blame me for transferring my prescriptions to Wellpower's Pharmacy after they were incredibly incompetent and rude.There is an obvious crisis in this country with pharmacies but anyone has to be able to do a better job than Walgreens.I lasted five years as a customer and I am done being patient.Sincerely - find another pharmacy!!!.

Sold an expired Flow Flex Covid test today... great job Walgreens! I'd recommend checking your shelves for appropriate items that are valid as needed.
