I wanted to treat my self this weekend and feel pretty and pampered. When I googled nail salons there were many in the lakewood area but very few of them are rated as high this one. This place is clean, i mean very clean! When i arrived i stopped in at 6:20 i left the salon at 7:40pm… I had to no wait no time at all and i was sat by a polite gentleman… the aesthetician began to ask what i wanted, which was the mani/pedi gel deluxe combo. Which was also asked of me when checking in.. They began to work and at the end is where it all began to fall apart. Once they asked if i wanted color and i told them white they applied the polish and left... i didnt seen the aesthetician at all after that… I assumed that the manicure color part was going to be done on the other side of the salon and they were allowing my toes to dry.. i sat for awhile and the host gentleman came and took of the toe separators off my feet and said i was done. I assumed i still had to get my hands done and he notioned to the register. I went up and asked him if i was suppose to get color included for the total price on both sets. He said did i want color and i replied yeas i wanted gel .. and he yelled to the aesthetician and i let him know i sat there for awhile and i wasnt trying to wait for them to finish the other client or have other ladies finish up someome elses work. Since i felt their encouragment to leave.. i paid and left very dissappointed, confused and a little used. After i got home which is less than a 3 min drive i noticed all the imperfections.. I can not believe i paid for this work. When we go places we have expectaions and this has made me horrified to think of ever getting anything done at any other salon. I am a male so maybe they assumed i wouldnt care but 70$ is 4 hours put of my work day. That i feel is wasted. Thanks Knock Knock

I went there for the 1st time after getting a gift card and I won’t go back. I requested the dip powder and when we were almost done, I asked why I didn’t get a manicure as well. With an attitude the technician answered “you didn’t ask for it”. For an extra cost, she was willing to cut my curricles after the dip was placed - complete rip off and terrible service but I guess it’s my fault for not questioning sooner. The very next day the nails started to crack and peel. I went back to get them redone, picked the same color and had to see the same technician, who now was clearly annoyed at me. Not a single apology for wasting my time with a second visit. The most infuriating part is that the nails AGAIN started to crack and peel within hours after replacing them. It is clear they are using either expired liquids, low quality powder or the technician isn’t applying it correctly. Very disappointing this place sucks this badly. Now I’m stuck with busted nails for the next couple of weeks until I have time and money to go to another place to get them properly done.

Stylist: Always a great visit and conversation with Kimberly. She is amazing with doing my nails and pedicures. Accommodates the different designs I chooses for my nails. Such a joy to see her and everyone else at the salon.

I just wanted to share my experience at Knock knock nails. Kimberly did the best job on my pedicure and nails as I asked her to do something special for my upcoming vacation to Mexico. Well she did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Kimberly and Nicki as they are both the BEST!

The best prices especially for 3D art on nails
Wendy did an outstanding job on my nails. They know how to handle rude customers. I experienced a rude customer yelling at her tech for a color she chose. They were professional on handling this situation. I walked in and asked if they can do special requests and with no hesitation said yes and even accommodated the changes I wanted that weren't in the picture I showed them. I would highly recommend but would prefer more cleanliness.

For some people, a visit to a nail salon is just an occasional treat-NOT @ KK NAILS it was Abusive!
I’m going thru trails of cancer screenings & just hoped to get a simple service to make me smile & feel better. I’m told by my Doctor to NOT get (UV) light – Gel manicures/pedicures at this time bc exposure to UV radiation can lead to, more skin damage and cancers.
Without the need to revel my health status I hope to get a “basic pedicure” with plain light pink nail polish, which turned into a VERY pushy, heated foul mouth employee who continually tried to convince me to pay extra money and upgrade my “basic pedicure” service, I explained, I did not want to upgrade, & tried polite small talk, she raised her voice and began roughly taking the polish off my toes by tugging and speaking down at me loudly, She went from 0-10 trying to intimidate me, I asked her to stop! I expressed I hope her morning would get better, yet she will not be able to service me any further, she said, “good”, and she continued taunting me on my exit.
I do NOT recommend violence in the work place and this is the most
unprofessional, unsafe, unkind NAIL SALON I have ever experienced!
I was called “poor” not having money to upgrade…I believe this person is whacked! as a person, I have choices…experiencing cancer I have new lenses to live my life on purpose, with kindness, peace & love - it was never about the “basic package” it was feeling better & having a good service experience,
Looking back KK Nails lacks in basic service to serve me in my community, I’m grateful to share to others who they really are, which my experience this morning was very negative & unprofessional. Along with Very pushy, rude, abusive to the point of becoming hurtful & violent to me & my feet!

Horrible horrible horrible!!! I just got my nails done here and asked for a simple design. An ombré and marble. The lady obviously doesn't know how to do either. The shape is also terrible. I got a rebase and she didn't even fill in my nail all the way. She was rushing through it and was rude too. I attached pictures of what I wanted vs what I got. I could've got press on nails from Claire's that would've looked better than this. So ugly.
