Bill was super helpful, with my Internet research ‘all done’ I picked out an optics upgrade kit.After a few thoughtful questions the staff at Mile High help me and my three kids with a revised selection. The staffs educational approach helped me purchase this right as newcomers to backyard astronomy at a lower cost than I had budgeted.

Went here to buy an early Xmas present and while picking up my order I did online I was able to talk with them for a good while getting all the info I could want and really educated me alot about what I was buying and things that would be improvements in the future. I walked in a total noob and I walked out feeling alot more knowledgeable thanks to the extremely helpful staff. Honestly best experience I have ever had at any retail store.

This was the most disrespectful company to me in my 40 years of astronomy, 9 of which in the US. A Brazilian astronomer, the greatest authority on Meteors in Brazil, tried to buy a telescope and asked to have it delivered to my address in Orlando. The company blocked it and placed it as a fraudulent attitude.So, I decided to buy with my address in Orlando and with my credit card. I was banned for fraudulent activity. I called, and after many attempts, I managed to speak to someone who made me understand that my address was on a fraud blacklist. It turns out that I am a real person, with a real credit card, paying taxes in the US and I have been considered a fraudster. The way I was treated on the phone, such as: Buy your telescope at another store, shows me the behavior of disrespect for the consumer, whose sin is not being born in the USA.The most ridiculous thing about this "little american box" example is that I asked: if someone across the street buys from you, will you deliver? The answer was Yes. Which doesn't make any sense.

We wanted some accessories for my telescope but trying to research online was daunting. This store was well worth the drive up from Colorado Springs for the personal service and recommendations, with very reasonable prices. I wish we'd bought our scope from them, too! We'll probably reach out for further recommendations, especially since we can order from them online, too.

I purchased online from the East coast, so I don’t have an in person review, but I did have a great experience online shopping with them! I purchased my eclipse glasses for the April 2024 eclipse before there’s a rush on them like for the August 2017 eclipse. I love the free shipping for orders over $79. I was going to order from another telescope site, but they were charging a $25 dollar shipping fee for the same items. I even spotted the coolest Tshirt of an eclipse with a glow in the dark corona. The website functions great, they send timely emails with updates on your order, and it was packaged very securely. They processed my order very quickly (the same day!) and I received my package within a week. I could not be happier with my experience and am glad to have found a small business to support! I’ll be back for lenses for my telescope!

Excellent knowledge and service. I called MHA and spoke with Zach. He was polite and understood the product market and was able to blend it with astrophotography and my needs. I added items to the cart as we spoke for 27 minutes. I checked out and they upgraded me to next day delivery. I received the order the next day from the front range to the Western Slope of Colorado. For a business to take a ~30 minute phone call and actually understand the field and be able to articulate it over the phone is a rare thing these days. Thanks.

Absolutely amazing experience! I'm new to the hobby and when I told John that, he took the time to explain everything. He reaffirmed everything I had learned from research but also answered all of my questions with a ton of expertise. The shopping experience was well worth it and I am entirely glad that I came here rather than buying something online. I got a Celestron 8" Dob.

I visited there this past weekend looking to purchase a telescope and while the associate I spoke to was very knowledgeable about mounts, I was extremely put off when his first 10 minute speech was about the directional rotation of the sky and he spoke to me like he was explaining it to a ten years old. I don't know if he speaks like that to everyone or just females but I was ready to spend a few thousand dollars on a good telescope, which he spoke nothing about even though I told him that I was looking for a telescope. I know that mounts are important but I'm not going to choose a mount before choosing the perfect scope. The place looked like a great location to get what you need but I won't be talked down to. I ended up just walking out and won't be going back especially since it was about a 3 hr drive round trip.

Just came in to price a solar filter and picked up a Barlow lens, both workers are amazing and really know what they're doing! I love how much I was helped with all my questions and even given some quick tips to be better at finding stuff in the night sky! You definitely have a regular customer on your hands now! Thank you so much!!!
