I had a great experience at this Mazda! I had my first oil change after buying the car a few months ago at an Illinois dealership and the staff was extremely helpful and kind for my first time there! They took a video describing what they had done/checked on my car during my multi-point inspection which I thought was super helpful, both for my records and knowledge of my car. Jake was attentive and answered my many questions (some I’m pretty sure I asked twice) with ease. I highly recommend this Mazda for service and I’m sure the sales team is just as great!

Richard Johnson is a consummate professional and made the experience of purchasing from McDonald Mazda West pure joy! I'm now the very proud owner of a fantastic Mazda Certified Pre-Owned 2024 Mazda3 Turbo AWD Premium Plus in Polymetal Gray with barely any miles on the odometer. He was very knowledgeable about the extensive amount of features of the car, gave a great suggestion on where to go for the test drive, and was quick to get the purchasing process completed painlessly. He was even highly responsive in having a small cosmetic issue taken care of after I had taken delivery. I have nothing but good things to say about the overall experience. Zoom Zoom!

I expressed interest in a vehicle here. Got a plane ticket to fly in from Orlando to make the purchase and drive almost 2000 miles home. While they were supposed to be building me a quote they didn’t respond from 7:30am until right before close. I had to call to follow up on my own inquiry 3x. I was told several times they’re working on my out the door price. By the time I was handled they doubled the price of the vehicle.
I’ve attached screenshots that are 7 hours apart. The car has been on their lot for months, and since I expressed interest they doubled the price & gave me some non up to par excuses. Also not sure what a “courtesy guard is for 400$, but I was willing to pay that with the base price of the car.
Overall it was a pretty crappy experience. Felt like I was dealing with mismanaged teenagers and that’s not the feeling you want when you’re preparing to fly out 2000 miles for a car.

Got the parts I needed in a quick and friendly fashion. Dustin was extremely helpful.and knowledgeable, also just a really nice guy to chat with. Very positive experience if you need parts for your mazda!

I did not actually buy a car here, nor service my car here due to how far it is from my home, but I wanted to give them a glowing review for how they helped me. We were traveling, and about 180 miles from our destination, when a weird "vehicle system failure" error came up. It was around 345 in the afternoon, and they managed to get me in, take a look at my car, and assure me it was nothing even though I didn't have any appointment, and I wasn't even a customer of theirs. I'd recommend doing business with them if you are nearby.

First and foremost, we want to give Ceedric a HUGE shout out. From the second he picked up the phone to the moment we shook hands with a deal he showed a level of professionalism that i have never seen before. The way he didnt sugarcoat anything, gave us honesty and transparency throughout the entire process was truly refreshing. His proactive attitude set a new standard for what exceptional service looks like. It's clear that he genuinely cares about his clients. Just don't buy a Mazda. The car actually does well but literally ever employee you deal with and it doesn't matter what dealer,will just jack up things left and right
Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
They have screwed me on several occasions from selling me a car they sold someone else to now making me wait 3+ months for my warranty refund.

Had a great experience at McDonald Mazda West. I initially worked with Alex Stone who joined me on the test drive. My husband and I hadn't bought a new car since 2012, so I was very unfamiliar with pretty much all of the features. Alex was very friendly and patient with me. I ended up putting down a deposit on a CX-5 that was in-transit from the factory. When the car was delivered to the dealership, I got a text from Ceedric. He explained that he was helping Alex out. We set up an appointment for my husband and me to come in and complete the actual sale. Ceedric was also very friendly and great to work with. Shout out to both Joe in the finance department and Marc who did our front window tinting. Very positive experience dealing with all of these people.
