Scheduled a cut and color. Stylist (lien) asked if I could come in at 10 instead of the 9 am we scheduled. I said yes as long as we could get my haircut as that was my priority. I went in and she colored it assuring me she would have time to cut it. After getting all my foils in she said she wouldn't be able to cut it. She ended my appointed by doing extensions in another customer and leaving me with a soaking wet head. Offering me a conditioning treatment even if I stayed an extra 1.5 hours later then my appointment. I paid 270.00 for a service that was incomplete. I messaged the owner telling her that I had to go to a different salon to get a hair cut (since she didn’t have the time even though she assured me she would) with no response or accountability. Such a shame she could be a great stylist if she gave everyone the same care as someone with extensions. I was literally chopped liver as soon as a client with extensions came in and she realized she double booked.

I want to start out by saying Lien did an excellent job with my hair when I saw her for my first time, so I obviously booked another appt with her.Well, I showed up to my next appt, and she wasn’t there and the place was closed but the lady that was in the back told me lien went home because she wasn’t feeling well which I understand. But no one notified me at all about this, and I was pretty upset. We spent a month trying to reschedule and there must have been a communication issue because I was telling her I wanted something for mid September and after a couple weeks of texting back and forth trying to schedule my trim and style, she told me “ I’m no longer accepting hair cut appts, as I’m doing extensions only now”. The customer service for me is not it. The fact that I showed up to an appt last month that didn’t happen, and asked many times to reschedule, and her telling me she only takes extension appts now, I feel like I needed to leave this review. Im sorry, but hopefully this helps with customer service going forward.

I have been coming to this salon for 6 years and have always had a wonderful experience.I have very difficult hair (colorwise) and Lien has always done it perfectly.My most recent visit this week left my hair looking and feeling amazing even after lightning it. Lien's energy and passion for doing hair is beautiful. I highly recommend this salon!Service: Hairstyling

CHEMICAL BURN I went to get my hair colored by the owner Lien who has done my hair several times before. I was doing blonde as I have done before I told her my hair was stinging and she told me not to worry as the cold weather tends to make peoples scalp dry. When she finished my head was still on stinging but she said just to give it time. So I went home and went to sleep when I woke in the morning my head was on fire and I had a migraine when I felt my head I had scabbing all over. My aunt who is a cosmetologist told me to rush to the hospital. The hospital confirmed I had chemical burns all over my scalp. When I told the salon owner she was very careless about it. Said o I’m sure it will get better and did not even seem to care until I text her hospital paperwork proving chemical burn. I am in constant pain I have headaches and nerve damage due to this incident and who knows how long til I will heal not to mention I am unable to brush my hair due to scabbing. I hope she does not get the chance to do this to someone else.

Highly recommend Lien (the owner) for color hair. I am very picky with my hair and it’s hard to get the blonde I want, because my hair is naturally black. She never disappoints! Her staff are very friendly and professional.

On Saturday, June 11 2022, I had a hair service done at Lavish Beauty Salon. My hair service didn't go as planned. Lien, the manager, dried my hair which caused it to have breakage as well as redness and irritation on my scalp, ears, and neck. It was an ugly hair color and left my hair very dull and dry and not vibrant. Not good. When I made my hair appointment I asked Lien what kind of shampoo and conditioner she uses. She said she uses Pureology brand products and I said that I needed to use Pureology Smooth Perfection. She said okay. When she started to put a product called Malibu Professional CPR on my scalp I told her that my hair is healthy and I asked if the product is not going to dry out my hair. She said no it will make the hair healthy, which it did not. My head felt very heavy after she was done. While the product was still on my head I began to feel my scalp burning and I immediately told Lien that the product was burning my scalp. She said it stays on for 30 minutes and that she will take the cap off in 5 minutes. After she took the cap off I told her my scalp was burning. After 30 minutes I told her my scalp was burning. She said the longer the better and knowing that my scalp was burning she left me sitting even longer. When she went to wash may hair out she used a different Pureology shampoo then the one we discussed when I made the appointment. The bottle she used was a purple bottle but the color of the Pureology Smooth Perfection, that I needed, is pink. I even reminded her that I needed to use the pink bottle when I got to the salon. After using something different than what I asked for, she went and got the pink bottle of conditioner and said she will wash it again with another shampoo. I said no, who wants a two different shampoos and conditioners in their hair. I went to 3 other salons for them to look at my scalp and hair. They all said my scalp had redness and irritation and dry hair which caused my hair to have breakage. They also noticed the rash and irritation behind my ears that was itchy so I made a doctor appointment. My doctor said that I likely suffered from a chemical burn and recommended me to see a dermatologist. I made the dermatologist appointment and saw them Tuesday, June 29 2022 and was prescribed a solution that I need to use for 3 weeks or longer to clear up my scalp. I have an awesome hair dresser who has been doing my hair for a year. I was not able to get in with her which is why I went to Lavish. I was able to recently see my hair dresser so she could give me a treatment and to cut my hair to correct the damage. She said she had never seen my hair this bad. I still need to cut my hair shorter because of the dryness and damage. Since my visit at Lavish was on a Saturday and they were closed on Sunday and Monday, I had to wait till Tuesday to call Lien. On Tuesday I called Lien to let her know that I was not happy withy my service. She said she would call me back but never did. I tried to reach her on Wednesday and she was able to return my call then. She said she needs a few days to process this. I sent her pictures of my hair, scalp, and ears showing the redness and irritation. Lien did say she would but a hair treatment and do a glaze in my hair. At this point, No thank you. I do not trust her doing any kind of hair service to my hair. As of a week later I contacted her and she tells me she will call me back but never did. She knows she did not do a great job on my hair. I don't mind paying good money for quality hair service but that is not what I got. no tip was added. Lien is over priced for what kind of service you get. Lien has been putting me off since I told her about my hair on June 14 2022. Being a manager, who does that? I told her I would send pictures and I did but never got a response. She knows she is in the wrong and won't make it right by giving me the full refund that I have asked for. I was able to put my undercut into a pony tail prior to my service with Lien. I had an amazing experience with Lyn the owner, she did amazing work with my colors,she had to do kinda of a color correction and she nailed it!!! Considering that I have been in this industry for many years, she did absolutely an amazing job and I'm very pleased with how f******* amazing my hair color looks. Highly recommend Lyn without a doubt. Fyi I ran the first establish day spa in Colorado for years, opened for 30 years soooooo!!!! Thank you Lavish for a wonderful experience and a very bad a*** color job!!!!

UPDATE: It's been a year and my hair has still not recovered from the damage sustained at this salon. Thankfully, I've found a fantastic stylist who opened her shop up in the old Lavish location just across the street! I highly recommend Viviana as she ensures you are her only client and she actually listens to what you want.REVIEW: Amber ruined my hair and Lien the owner physically threatened me when I asked for a refund. I had been a client at this salon for more than 7 years. After my original stylist Hannah joined the missions field, I just accepted whichever stylist they scheduled me with and hadn't had any major issues until this traumatizing incident.I asked for highlights but got bleach drips and stripes. See pics. When I called and asked to have a manager fix it, I came in to be placed with Amber, once again. She put a darker color on to try to cover it and the results were unacceptable. My long hair broke off in several sections that had been over-processed and the overall look was nothing like I'd requested.When I came back a 3rd time to ask for a refund, Lien the owner/master stylist, threatened me and chased me to my car and was still screaming at me when I was backing out. Worst customer service experience! NOT RECOMMEND. Lyn had me waiting 40minutes after my appointment time. In addition she damaged my shirt with color dye and when i left I noticed there was dye on my face too. Very unprofessional trying to do 2 clients at once

Took my son to get his hair cut here. Amber clearly doesn't know how to cut hair. When she was done she asked my husband and he told me it was better to leave and cut our losses. There was no blending done whatsoever and the top of hair looked like it was hacked. He went to school and everyone made fun of him. For $30 for a boys haircut I expected better than a Fantastic Sams or Great Clips and didn't expect it to be as bad as it is for a "high end salon".

I booked an appointment online for a daytime appointment on a Tuesday. I thought I could take a quick break from work, get a simple cut and be back online. Well, I guess that was wishful thinking on my part. After waiting for 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, one of the ladies finally said that my stylist was "just finishing up". She proceeded to take her time finishing up, spent another 10+ minutes talking with her client, then pulled me back to the chair but told me she needed to clean first. She then swept and wiped everything down showing absolutely no sense of urgency. At this point I seriously should have walked out. I got a mediocre cut, however I will not return to a business that does not respect client appointments. Go elsewhere!

I go to this salon because of Amber. She is a lovely soul. Amber is highly skilled, creative and talented. It is a joy twice a month to see her to make my eye lashes pretty. She also works with me if there is a schedule conflict which I deeply appreciate. ?Services: Haircut
