This king Soopers is the worst of the worst, I was born and raised in Colorado, specifically Aurora. I have lived in Lakewood for two years and this is the closest king Soopers to me, so I sometimes try to go in leaving with nothing and usually a horrible attitude from an employee. I have had so many issues with this store and it’s so sad because I love kings and it’s so close.
Today on June 6th at 9:20AM, there was not a single register open besides 6 self-checkouts, not an employee in sight. The lines were splitting down the aisles and people were cutting.
I went alllll the way to the back to find an employee, a woman who was short with long black hair, she was rude and unhelpful when I told her about the lines and no employees to help the people with disabilities (like myself and my son). She sighed, said k and walked away. I left my stuff and left the store.
I keep thinking it’s just a bad day, but it’s literally 100% of my trips here - all bad days, because of bad employees.

I was there this evening to do my weekly grocery shopping. I simply asked for a hand basket and the clerk was very rude.if there's none in the entrance then we don't have any!! I then found one that was not being used and the clerk was rude again. I asked for manager and she was even worse. I spend 500-700 per month at this store. I wont be going back. I'll drive out of my way to another store! May 27,2024 8:00 PM very unpleasant

Friendly employees. Good layout and products. Parking can be tight at busy times but otherwise no complaints.

No hand baskets due to “theft” while simultaneously raising prices and receiving record profits. This must mean you don’t want my patronage and I’m happy to oblige.

My sister came in to send money through western union which is something she does often. Shaina was completely rude. My sister let her know what the problem was and asked her to fix it. shaina claimed she couldn’t fix it. My sister asked to speak to else and Shaina gets on the walkie and says “I’m not good enough for her.” I believe someone named Tina came over and helped my sister fix the problem that Shaina claimed could not be fixed and “she should know because she’s worked for the company for 3 years.” My sister asked for Shaina’s name because she didn’t see her name tag and she responded very snobby with “it’s right here.” I work for king soopers and have never heard any of my co workers talk to a customer like she did. If she can’t be nice to customers then maybe she shouldn’t work in customer service. Very rude and unprofessional. Tina was very sweet and helpful. Do better Shaina.

This location is the horrible. I picked up some roses for my mom last night for her bday & the were beautiful this morning they were all dead, & bent over. Went to return them just now the gentleman behind the customer service was not at all accomdating because they were over $10.00 & no receipt Im out of luck. He took several minutes to wait on us as he had to clear the stapler begin jammed. Didn't know that was a prioirty over customers waiting in line. Save the horrible experience don't shop here. Wish we could give NO STARS cause that's what they would receive. Shop @ the King Soopers on kipling. They know how to treat their customers.

First, I want to say the pharmacy is great! I would recommend this pharmacy for sure! They are nice and professional and very helpful.
We steer clear of shopping for groceries at this particular store though. I know people have good and bad experiences at any establishment. We decided we don't want the grief of issues we had run into. And at self checkout for example, the very rude and condescending employee (older, heavyset dark haired woman) who seemed to be the one there a lot. No thanks.

This King Soopers ride around dinner time when people are shopping only has one register open but all the self-checkout I think that is really ridiculous the King Soopers over at Lakewood Commons has more sense than that one something needs to change

Hey King Soopers... YOU all just don't get it. It is absolutely infuriating to have to wait in line when you have one checker and only half of the self- checking stations available. STAFF YOUR STORES!
