Stay away from this Hertz. Probably the worst car rental experience I've ever had at this location. The reviews you read here other than mine must also be true. I also fell victim of showing up and the car reserved wasn't available. Instead, I was given another vehicle that was the only one left on the property and it had apparently just been turned in by another customer. The interior was filthy with grape juice splattered on the ceiling. We didn't want to wait another day for a vehicle so we accepted it and said no big deal. Then, when we returned the car. The same guy that issued it, Nickolas Boyll, insisted I now owe an additional $150.00 cleaning fee. I reminded him that the car was issued dirty and I'm not paying a cleaning fee. His response was he did me a favor for giving me that car and I should be thanking him for doing so. Quite possibly the most entitled disrespectful remark I've ever hear from a customer service representative in my life. Hertz, this is who you want to be the face of your business? It's no wonder this company filed for bankruptcy just a few years ago. I'll never use Hertz again as a direct result of the way this employee interacted with me.

Rented a Ford Edge for 2 weeks for a road trip. We had a great experience... Hertz staff was helpful and pleasant at pick-up and drop off, vehicle was clean and ran great. My advice to anyone renting in the Denver area is to definitely make a reservation for your rental at least 4 days in advance and call to confirm. Lots of rental companies in the area were low on or out of vehicles.

Will, as well as Nick and all the employees I talked too at this establishment, a few ladies too can’t remember there names; during this time were very helpful, respectful and handled our rental with the ease. We were having issues with our car so we took it to the shop only to find out it would be in there for 30+ days! And during that time is when we reached out to Hertz and got a rental car, I could not tell you how good it feels to rent a vehicle during this fiasco and have outstanding service handled swiftly and appropriately, much more friendly then other car rental places, thanks again for the great experience! (Hope I don’t have to edit this review when we return the car ?)

TLDR: Do not rent from this location. Take your own photos at pick up. This location should be shut down. Save yourself the headache.
They tried charging me for a crack in the windshield that was already present. Luckily, you could see it in photos taken at pick up so the attendant rescinded his claim. After dropping off the vehicle, they charged me double what the final total should have been. Apparently, they are so incompetent at this office they couldn't fix it on the spot so my credit card gets charged the doubled amount. I tried fixing the issue by calling corporate, but they apparently outsource those to India and they were useless in fixing the matter. I had to submit a charge back through my credit card company for the first time ever to resolve the issue.

I received a rental vehicle from this location while my personal vehicle was being worked on. Deducted two stars because the vehicle smells really bad. Almost like a mixture of old wet dog and a mouse habitat. I purchased 3 air fresheners, and even those won't get rid of the smell. Pretty gross to be honest...

Mixed bag. If reserved a transit van online. Took an Uber to get there, only to find they didn't have one, nor had they ever. The only thing they offered me was a big cube delivery truck, which I didn't want. No offer of any other vehicle. On the plus side, the employee I spoke with was friendly. It would have been nice if Hertz at least offered to pay for my rides.

Let's start at the beginning....
I reserved a vehicle 1 week ago. Reservations were for today (sat) at noon. I show up at 11:55 and the doors are locked. I wait out front for 13 mins. A woman comes out and tells me they are closed at noon. Well, I was hear before noon so what's the problem? Plus my Reservations were for noon. Proceeds to tell me that it is my fault for not checking there open store hours Before booking.... really?... so I left and contacted customer support to get something figured out. Nope! Got a quote for 600.00 additional bucks to rent a less superior vehicle 18 miles away. I took the refund that will take 5 to 10 days to get back to me and went to another rental company. The lady in the store and the customer service representative were not helpful and did nothing to correct their mistakes.

I rented a car. Left it at the airport a week ago. Got a recorded message that the car was overdue. Was not able to get anyone on the phone after several attempts. Went to the Colfax location where I got the car. They looked it up and said it was never closed out. The guy said he couldn’t call the airport location but he would have his manager email the fleet manager and “ping” the car and call me. This was 3 days ago. No call. I have 7 charges on my credit card account. What a nightmare!

Worse than a Seinfeld episode. They can keep the reservation even when you prepay with Amex platinum. Terrible. Just terrible.

The woman who was working alone yesterday 3/16 was amazing!! I can’t remember her name, but she was super friendly and provided great service. I was having a really stressful morning and she treated me with kindness and respect. I would recommend Hertz to anyone!!!
