I should have read other reviews about the changing rooms being boarded closed before stopping here. Also, as refunds only go towards store credit it is really limits that shopping experience. Three stars because they had a good selection and quality for the clothes I looked at

Was my goodwill store… today around noon there was an older lady at the register with short white hair. She didn’t look happy but was talking to all the guests. There was an older Asian lady in front of me well dressed and had a couple shirts to buy. She got up to the register and had a thick accent asking if she could get a senior discount. Immediately I could tell the lady behind the register became a little agitated and I stepped in and told the register lady she was asking about senior discount after they were going back and forth about how she can not understand anything . Everyone understood so idk why lady at the register was playing this. She said only teachers today. The Asian lady thanked me and so did the worker. The second it was my turn at the register the worker made a snarky comment how she has to learn Spanish apparently. I felt I needed to stand up against this racism that I felt was uncalled for. I told her it was English the lady was speaking and that she was a nice Asian lady. I mentioned how beautiful the world was with everyone’s differences. She asked where I was from because I had said ma’am. I told her here in Lakewood. She mentioned that she can’t say that because someone complained that it made them feel old… I am assuming on this that she was saying that towards me given her racism and disgust for the Asian lady. I will NEVER be coming back here to spend my money and support people who are like this. I am disappointed in goodwill supporting and hiring people like this as well!!!!

I had to leave a review. What is going on with these 1-3 stars? I have been here dozens of times. Never met an employee who wasn’t helpful and happy. Never seen anything but incredible bargains and quality items. Sounds like a bunch of Karen’s out here just decided to say dumb things. Goodwill y’all are crushing it! I appreciate everything you do at this location and I have 0 complaints. My girlfriend agrees too btw, and she is always a pain in the behind to shop with. I love her, chill out, but that doesn’t negate how difficult she is. I listen to music loudly in the morning, she says I’m a pain in the behind too. Lol we all have our things, goodwill solved my problem, now we need a music solution.

I'm in town visiting family and love checking out different thrift stores while traveling. Seeing the round clothing racks in the photos and the lack of dressing rooms almost made me not check it out, but I'm glad that I did. The staff were very friendly, any time I had questions or needed help getting something they quickly responded. I found a lot of great items, the prices were better than other thrift stores I've been too, and I would definitely come back the next time I am in town.
Please consider getting straight clothing racks, the circle racks make it really hard to navigate the store and to find things. I'm sure this change will positively benefit the employees and customers.

So I have been going here over 15 year’s and this place has lost its touch. So I go too donate the other day and this guy u can tell when I pulled up with my truck was not wanting too unload anything which I was welling and able too unload with him. I had a nice glass tv stand that I could have sold myself but hey i wanted too give too my local goodwill. Anyway so he looks up at it says o there is scratch’s on the glass they won’t take that. I said really okay and he offered too send to the ARC down the road which yes the ARC excepts poor condition stuff but my tv stand was in good condition he also didn’t accept the kitchen table from the lady infront of me that had 4 chairs he offered her too go too the ARC as well I seen her there and both our items were in good condition. So goodwill u r loosing FREE inventory because your workers don’t want too help unload or do any work. I have seen some furniture and merchandise in poor condition get sold here so confused too why you would refuse a good condition item. Anyway hopefully the staff get talked to cause I’ve seen good condition stuff get let go and poor stuff sold there have a good day.

I want to greatly appreciate every single staff member for their help!! I had went shopping in a Uber and didn’t realize my phone had died! I thought I was stuck as all my money was on my phone through Apple Pay! I was blessed to use a staffs charger and be able to get a Uber home safely! I appreciate them all just for the concern and help, truly a blessing!! Thank you all so much!!

Lacinda checked me out and wow was she rude! I had a few items that were the color of the week sale items and she didn't ring them up on sale and tried to say there wasn't any money on a store credit card that I just got the day prior from another location, I had the receipt, she tried 3 times and it finally went through. She refused to acknowledge a customer that asked her a question mid transaction. I just wanted to get out of there!

I love the stuff at this Goodwill and think it's one of the better ones, but I'll never not be disgusted by the choice to close fitting rooms permanently. As an able bodied person with enough money to stay comfortable, it's not a big deal, but Goodwill is supposed to be for a community of people with higher needs. To deny them access to fitting rooms and force them to come back and return it if it doesn't fit instead, for store credit too I think, is really just the opposite of the mission. Also, prices should not be going up with inflation when your products are given to you for free.

Probably one of the most poorly organized Goodwill stores I've been to. There are dozens of circular racks in the store, and it just seems like random items of clothing are scattered throughout. It's hard to figure out what size you're looking for ... it's hard to find a particular type of top (long sleeve, sweaters, cardigans, all mixed up. It is overwhelming. This store would benefit from much better organization.
