Great selection and prices!! I recommend going to this location! My one star is only for the employee Jesse āŗļø
He has a very negative energy. Coming from a manager myself, I wouldnāt keep him in the front checking out customerās items. He obviously hates his job and his customers annoy him.
First thing out of his mouth when I approached the counter was āhow many items do you haveā with an unwelcoming tone. No āHi how are youā & what kind of weird question is that? Why does it matter how many items I have?š
After that.. a looongggg uncomfortable silence.. then Him very bluntly: āDo you want to round up? I politely tell him no thank you. He then throws me an annoyed attitude and says āIt would only be like a dollarā. (He obviously was not satisfied with me not wanting to round up and wanted to make sure I knew that.) I again, politely told Jesse no thank you.
Jesse then continues scanning my items in silence, tapping his little screen with a slight aggression. Once finished he then very aggressively hands me all my items.. like he was quickly throwing my items into my hands. Note I said hands.. he never offered me a bag. The way he was going about the interaction felt like the quicker he could hand me my things the quicker I could get out of his face.
Lastly the cherry on top! After he finished forcefully piling all the clothes I bought into my arm he looks at me with the fakest smile I have ever seen and says āHaVe A GoOd DaY šā. The energy he was giving felt more like ābye. get out of my face now!ā
Jesse I hope you read this and fix your attitude problem. If you hate your job quit. I doubt you would be missed.
And to Jesseās manager I hope this is helpful information hopefully you can use this to help get him out of there. He is the complete opposite of customer service. And is hurting your business, I would have totally rounded up if the person asking me was kind, respectful, and not Jesse! š

This location is unsatisfactory. Management goes out their way to be Unprofessional with customers!!!!! Everything is overpriced. Good customer service is not a properity at this location!!!!

First a big shout out to the Management for taking care of me. So last month a mirror fixture with a sharp edge destroyed and tore my recent new GORTEX jacket I was wearing. So, Cameras YES they have them and they know I didn't make this up! I was taken care of to replace my jacket. Thank you, Director Landen, for job a well done and professional manner. Will be a continued customer of Goodwill for sure! Cheers

Yall have lost your minds with the pricing. Dollar Tree crap for 3.99? Shoes with holes $11.99. A no name fake leather purse $8.99. Absolutely ridiculous. Found it kind of suspicious that I couldn't find hardly any half off sale tags that match the days tag. It was 9am on a Tuesday. The greed is gross considering you pay your disabled employees garbage.

I should have read other reviews about the changing rooms being boarded closed before stopping here. Also, as refunds only go towards store credit it is really limits that shopping experience. Three stars because they had a good selection and quality for the clothes I looked at

Was my goodwill storeā¦ today around noon there was an older lady at the register with short white hair. She didnāt look happy but was talking to all the guests. There was an older Asian lady in front of me well dressed and had a couple shirts to buy. She got up to the register and had a thick accent asking if she could get a senior discount. Immediately I could tell the lady behind the register became a little agitated and I stepped in and told the register lady she was asking about senior discount after they were going back and forth about how she can not understand anything . Everyone understood so idk why lady at the register was playing this. She said only teachers today. The Asian lady thanked me and so did the worker. The second it was my turn at the register the worker made a snarky comment how she has to learn Spanish apparently. I felt I needed to stand up against this racism that I felt was uncalled for. I told her it was English the lady was speaking and that she was a nice Asian lady. I mentioned how beautiful the world was with everyoneās differences. She asked where I was from because I had said maāam. I told her here in Lakewood. She mentioned that she canāt say that because someone complained that it made them feel oldā¦ I am assuming on this that she was saying that towards me given her racism and disgust for the Asian lady. I will NEVER be coming back here to spend my money and support people who are like this. I am disappointed in goodwill supporting and hiring people like this as well!!!!

I had to leave a review. What is going on with these 1-3 stars? I have been here dozens of times. Never met an employee who wasnāt helpful and happy. Never seen anything but incredible bargains and quality items. Sounds like a bunch of Karenās out here just decided to say dumb things. Goodwill yāall are crushing it! I appreciate everything you do at this location and I have 0 complaints. My girlfriend agrees too btw, and she is always a pain in the behind to shop with. I love her, chill out, but that doesnāt negate how difficult she is. I listen to music loudly in the morning, she says Iām a pain in the behind too. Lol we all have our things, goodwill solved my problem, now we need a music solution.

I'm in town visiting family and love checking out different thrift stores while traveling. Seeing the round clothing racks in the photos and the lack of dressing rooms almost made me not check it out, but I'm glad that I did. The staff were very friendly, any time I had questions or needed help getting something they quickly responded. I found a lot of great items, the prices were better than other thrift stores I've been too, and I would definitely come back the next time I am in town.
Please consider getting straight clothing racks, the circle racks make it really hard to navigate the store and to find things. I'm sure this change will positively benefit the employees and customers.
