Upon entry, we were greeted by a handful very friendly staff. Although we were told the service we requested was not available at this facility, we were given multiple different options in the area to do it today! The staff seemed genuinely caring and thoughtful about our situation. The gentleman in the Dallas Cowboys jacket was a pleasure to work with!

I know the DMV gets a lot of flack but I just wanted to say Flore was such a helpful and kind woman to speak with today.She walked me through (very patiently) step by step on what I needed to do & took time to answer all of my questions. Between her knowledge & New York accent she made my experience a good one.Flore, I hope you get to visit the east coast soon! Have a beautiful and thriving life ?

My driver's license was not delivered in the mail due to a USPS mail issue, so I had to pick it up in person at the DMV. I called in advance, and the person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was given a ticket number and then had to wait a little bit, but everything was taken care of professionally and fairly quickly. Restrooms are available, as well as drinking water. Parking for visitors is behind the building near the main entrances.

Very helpful today! Lost my drivers license (and the address on it is not my current address), I thought I needed my DL# to make an appt but I was just doing it wrong. The guy right when you first walk in helped me book an appt for what I needed at a different (quicker) location.

VERY NOT HAPPY. I am only there to CHANGE MY FIRST NAME. And then they want me to do the whole PROCESS again. My God DMV. Why do i need to do the whole process all over again and ask me to go to the doctor PAY another eye test.I was just there to CHANGE MY NAME thats it. I thought that the American process is amazing...but I KINDA NOW SAY....NOOOOOO...I WAS WRONG. If only i can give ZERO i will do it over and over again

Website sucks. I need to replace a lost driver's license. Colorado apparently cannot figure out how to accept an online request for that. Appointment required, but there is no option for replacing a lost license. Made an appointment, but when I arrived, the appointment type I selected was not the right one, so I was told to make a different appointment. When I got home, I made a second appointment for "Renew license" but I am still not certain that that is the correct choice. And the appointment is two weeks out, so I will not have a license for a while. Phone calls are not answered. Why is it so hard for Colorado to provide basic services? In Arizona, these services are are subcontracted to private companies that actually provide timely services (same day), and the employees are friendly and helpful. I think we deserve better in Colorado!

I never thought I would be so impressed by a DMV that I would write a review, but my experience here was flawless. I had very little time to take care of my ID and couldn't wait weeks to book an appointment, but they got me in a cancelation slot early in the morning and had me wrapped up in less than 15 minutes between two stations. Friendly and efficient all around. ?

Why would the Colorado DMV have ZERO record of me being a VETERAN, while the state of Colorado verified this and issued my DL with Navy Veteran Emblem on it. As well as issued my Navy Veteran Plates. Now the state wants NEW proof.

Nice dmv office. I went during a busy afternoon but the dmv office is big enough to handle a decent number of people. Also the people were kind and gave the right instructions. They handled older people with patience and helped them.

I was told to go to 1881 Pierce St by my local Denver DMV to get a title for my stolen vehicle. A rude cleark by the name of Anthony Leon told me they're not able to do anything about it at that location and to go to another location in Denver. The Denver location was confused as to why they didn't give me the application on the spot. Went back to 1881 Pierce to get the name of the rude cleark, Anthony Leon. They were unbelievably unprofessional laughing at the fact I drove around all day. Also stateing that they aren't able to print the form. The bad attitude of the receiving staff is definitely the worst in the Denver metro area.

Turned away from an appointment I waited a month for because I “didn’t have the right documentation”, in reality I did. I looked it up and by the time I saw I had the right ID and had been wrongfully turned around, I had left the building and wasn’t allowed back in because I didn’t have another appointment scheduled.Whoever is a supervisor at this location, reiterate to your employees that they are public servants. They are paid by me and every person they service. Wrongfully turning someone away and not allowing them back in is absolutely disgraceful and waste of tax payer money.

What's the point of having an appointment if you wait over an hour and still don't get called? I had an appointment at the Lakewood DMV at 1pm today and waited over an hour to be called to help and never was. The only reason I'm here is because I waited the 30 days to receive my ID in the mail and never did. This was a waste of my time and I do not recommend this location.
