“I adopted Amelia (formerly Salem) from Cat Care Society, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience.
Shortly after bringing her home, I ran into a few unexpected health issues. As a first-time cat mom, I was honestly scared and overwhelmed by the findings and how sick she was. But CCS immediately followed up with me and walked me through every bump in the road with so much care and support. I never felt alone in it. CCS truly cares about their cats before and after adoption.
I am endlessly grateful to this shelter for connecting me with my soul kitty. Amelia has brought so much joy and face “boops” into my life. If you’re considering adopting, I highly recommend visiting CCS — they truly care about both their cats and their adopters!”
“I have been taking clients with food insecurity to TAC for about a year. You can make an appointment to "shop" every 2 weeks or go in daily for a small prefilled bag. There is also a pet food bank once a month and other services/ resources. Thanks for all you do for the community!”
“As a client of over a year. DSD has been life changing for our family. This amazing, compassionate and talented team of individuals don’t just train service dogs, they train people who need help to train their dogs for their specific needs. This allows clients to gain precious independence and as a by product, confidence and self reliance.This team cares about the dogs and the people in their program and go above and beyond to ensure safety for everyone involved. Sometimes that means setting boundaries that people may not understand. As a lifetime dog owner this has been an eye opener for me, I think the most appropriate phrase is I didn’t know what I didn't know! But that is OK because this amazing team helps us every step of the way and we are beyond grateful!”
