I had the honor to meet my new PCP Dr Wiggin today. My former PCP left the Commo Spirit practice last month. Our first, and long, appointment was great! He's very thorough and due to his experience in the VA surroundings makes him more comfortable and knowledgeable with seniors and their issues. I look forward to the future with him at my side.

Dr. Wiggin seems to be a thoughtful and thorough doctor. He was focused on mom’s health issues, took the time to ask many great questions and really listened, ordered lab tests immediately and he was keen on addressing mom’s health concerns. Looking forward to improvements in mom’s health and well-being.

Awful rude front desk staff! Showed up for an appointment for my daughter and the guy at the desk was so rude we left. It was the MOST uncomfortable experience EVER!

I asked for four things:1. To be scheduled with a doctor/pcp — preferably a DO — to get established primary care in CO. I got a nurse practitioner. But the husband got a doctor.2. To get a specific prescription I know works to stop chronic bleeding, stressing that birth control will make me crazy and won’t stop the bleeding. I got a birth control rx. I’ve now been nonstop bleeding with no relief. There is no relief in sight.3. To get a specific referral for a specific type of therapist who can handle c-ptsd, stressing that a referral to a generic “match therapist to insurance” will not work. The nurse practitioner said she has someone very specific in mind. But I got a referral to psychiatry, from a service that matches based on insurance only. And the calls kept getting disconnected.4. The card with 6 numbers in it for emergency mental health services. Even told them where the cards were located. They gave me a print out to one phone number on a website, that doesn’t work.I asked for my medical records. The raw notes the doctor took during the visit so I can get the name of the person she had in mind. I learned then that I didn’t see a doctor at all. They can’t give me my notes, only a patient summary. They gaslit that the referral service is the first step and I said, if the referral is incorrect (psychiatry not therapy) in the first place, what good is that? Then they asked for the therapists name the nurse mentioned. I said I don’t know it, I’m trying to get that name! You tell me who she had in mind, she never gave me a name, she just said she had the perfect person in mind. So, basically now the husband is calling to suss this out, and I need to make a hippa request to get the notes, to get the name.I wouldn’t recommend it here to say the least.

Keep scrolling to another office. This one is the WORST. In a car accident, ER said I have 2 broken ribs, possibly a broken nose and an injured hand. They can see me 12/14 at the earliest EIGHT DAYS AWAY. I consider this to be medically neglectful.

Everyone was friendly and professional, including of course Sarah and especially Julianne Johnson NP. Julianne listened attentively to my comments, and provided good medical comments of her own. I look forward to my next appointment at Centura Health.

The office staff were warm and welcoming, the nurse and PA’s were lovely, and my doctor was wonderful. I have been searching for a new primary care physician due to insurance changes, and I am so happy to have found Belmar.

Julianne has been a great PCP. She’s a great listener and I always feel respected and involved in the plan of care. She’s also very proactive in addressing concerns as well as responsive to messages in the portal.
