They have tap pay which is very convenient but they say it's "broken" when they're too lazy to do it which is rude and irritating.

Inner city location. Homeless shelter is nearby so the proprietor acts accordingly in that he keeps a close eye on the place which is perfectly understandable. Doesn't really allow any screwing around in the store. You need to be there to buy something..in and out.
