Noticed a rattling on my way down from the mountains. Rene got me in right away, and he and his mechanic showed me what the issue is, and gave me peace of mind that I could safely continue my trip. Very happy with the experience, highly recommend!

I had some issues with my transfer case while in town and Rene graciously looked at my Toyota SUV even though it was after-hours for his business. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue promptly. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain what he did and how I could resolve the issue on my own next time. Highly recommended.

Rene’s Garage is amazing! We came in with a frozen brake and they took immediate care of us. With a quick look and repair- they had us back on the road in no time. Lake City- you are so lucky to have a garage like Rene’s!

Rene's Garage is the best in town! I popped two tires up on Cinnamon pass and when I got back into Lake City, everyone told me to go talk with Rene. He and his team were super informative and allowed me to rent a plug kit and compressor to get my truck back down to town. When I got back, Rene put a patch and plug on my tire and I was on my way! We arrived in Lake City with an intermittent overheating problem. Rene made time for us and diagnosed a couple of issues that he corrected that day. We highly recommend his garage.

Arrived in Lake City with a continuously overheating engine and brought it to Rene, he discovered my radiator cap wasn't holding pressure and was able to replace it and have me back on the road in just a couple hours. Very efficient, professional, and friendly service, I was exceptionally grateful for these folks!

We limped into Lake City in September with a definite brake issue (after being reassured by our mechanics at home our vehicle checked out). Rene and Brett determined our rear brakes were trashed and managed to fit us into their schedule and saved our trip!We can’t recommend them enough to anyone needing service!

I just wanted let everyone know what a great outfit Rene's Garage in Lake City, Colorado is. Our 2005 Chevy Colorado broke down in Lake City. We called Rene's garage and they immediately sent out a tow truck to pick it up. They diagnosed the issue the next day and had it fixed the day after that. I was very impressed. Getting parts in a place as remote as Lake City is not an easy task. They were friendly, helpful and professional.Then a week later I received a check from them for $150. They said in their letter to me that they had overcharged me. I never would have known.These are the type of people you will want to do business with.If I could give more than 5 stars I would!Services: Electrical repair

I had a flat tire while camping about 40 miles away and one of the locals recommended Renee's to get it fixed. I drove up there and dropped it off and while I ran an errand at the other end of town, his mechanic Brett (very nice man) fixed while I was gone and mounted it when I returned. The whole repair time was less than an hour. I was delighted they could do it so quickly as I was there from Denver and didn't want to spend all day to get it fixed. Also it was clear that they had other cars they were working on. Renee and his entire staff were very pleasant to work with and for a fair price.

Incredible service! I was worried when my jeep started leaking fluid while on vacation in lake city for a week. The man who helped me was extremely quick to see me first thing in the morning. He diagnosed the problem, gave me peace of mind, and provided me with what I needed to make it back to Texas. Very fair and I highly recommend.
