What's important about a neighborhood liquor store is high quality, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful professionals and a well curated selection of key wines, beer, sake and all the spirits. South Boulder Road Liquor has all of that! The team always and proactively helps you find and tailor what you're looking for. They carry an unusually good selection of quality sakes and a superb selection of local artisanal beers. The team graciously keeps my favorite sake liter chilled down in their cooler. It's always a pleasure to see the pros at SBRL :-)

Went in today and only me and one employee were in the store. Asked for a items location. Instead of coming over to help me he just sat behind the counter and yelling directions. When I was in roughly the right area I could neither see him or understand his yelling. So as i turned around in circles looking for my item he still sat behind the counter.Finally after repeatedly saying I can't hear him or located the item. He came out in a huff all irrited pointing and rolling his eyes at me acting like I was an idiot for not knowing the layout of the store . As a regular customer this really pissed my off how I was treated.

Super friendly and helpful. They're willing to go the extra mile, boxing my orders up for me and preparing everything so I can simply walk in pay and leave with my prepared order. They learn and remember names for a more personalized experience. Did I say 5 stars?!

Really Really Friendly, Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Really liked the Breckenridge store pick. Pretty solid whiskey selection, shooters! And all the accessories lol Hopefully one day I could work here iv managed liquor stores myself and I am seriously impressed! You definitely have a returning customer!-Joel C

I like this place, I’ve been going there for a very long time, they carry a particular wine that I really can’t find anywhere else except for driving all the way across town,and they’re very fast so I like them, They are accommodating,if you want, something , just ask them, plus did I mention they have really great prices!!!, and they love dogs :-)! My kind of people!

When I moved to Lafayette I wanted to find a new liquor store and I did but they did not have my wine. The owner immediately ordered the red wine that I enjoy (Carlos Rossi Sweet Red) and recently ordered two more wines that I enjoy very much (Prophecy Red Blend and Prophecy Pinot Grigio). Great service, wonderful owners and management. ?
